I visited Traditions of Hershey last Saturday. It was very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer! As I walked in the lobby, men were playing "Keep the Balloon Up" with the pool noodles. They were all having a great time. I also saw so many activities for the residents to do, book club, van trip outings, happy hour, etc. I volunteered to go to the Troeg's "Ride the Waves of Inclusion" Down Syndrome Celebration. Three residents attended and we all had a great time! The staff treated the residents like family! My heart is full! I would love to be a resident there when the time is right!

My parents moved into Traditions about 2 years ago and quickly felt at home. When my father passed away earlier this year, it was such a blessing to know that my mother was in a safe and secure environment with caring and thoughtful staff.

My mom has lived at Traditions for three years. She began in independent living and transitioned to personal care about 6 months ago as her Parkinson’s has progressed. My mom and my family love Traditions Of Hershey. Mom has made wonderful friends here and there are so many activities. She is busy all the time! From exercise to bingo to card games to regularly scheduled entertainment, they truly make this place a home! Furthermore, and more importantly, the staff is so attentive to the needs of the residents. The administrators are very organized and have an open line of communication with family members. Although I love close by, I am able to rest easy knowing that she is well taken care of.

Traditions of Hershey has been an absolute blessing for our family. When our aging parents needed a safe, secure, pleasant, and accommodating place to live, Traditions became the answer. We toured dozens of facilities, but no other place offered the warm and comforting feeling that Traditions provided. From the moment we step inside, the staff at Traditions feel like FAMILY, and the facility feels like a HOME. Now our parents are thriving in a HOME where they have made new friends, participate in fun events and activities, and most importantly, feel safe, secure, and loved. The staff at Traditions can never replace the love we have for our parents, but they certainly try! And we deeply appreciate their efforts! Traditions at Hershey is one of the best facilities I have come across in a long time! From the caring staff, to the daily enrichment and quality of life they offer the residents. My grandmother loves every aspect of her day to day life. Her caregivers are attentive to not only her, but to me when I come in. She constantly talks about the wonderful food served from the kitchen. Thank you so much for taking great care of her!

Went to visit to see if this was a fit for my family member and this place is fantastic. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like family. What a breath of fresh air. They have extensive activities and events going on all the time. They even check in everyday on each independent resident to ensure they are okay, such a relief to know someone is watching out when we can’t. After our tour and some decisions, we plan to place our loved one with traditions of hershey and can rest knowing they will take great care of our loved one.

Moving into Traditions of Hershey was a very easy transition. The folks working at Traditions of Hershey have welcomed my parents with open arms. Everyone from the director of the facility, sales and marketing, food service, and maintenance all presented and continue to provide and maintain a professional, helpful, and welcoming spirit. Any potential issues have been met with a positive attitude of How can we help. While everything has been fantastic from the first day we entered the facility, they continue to look for suggestions on how to improve. The family atmosphere is very apparent, as they are friendly and genuine in everything they do. I would highly recommend checking out Traditions of Hershey as an Independent or Personal Care Facility. We found that making the transition was easy and stress-free. Annamarie, Dan, Tina, and Charity are great assets to Traditions of Hershey, as well as the rest of the entire staff. 5 Stars all the way!

Our grandfather Milton has been a resident here for 7 years now. This has been such a wonderful place for him. The staff is so kind and helpful all of the time. We had just transitioned him to the assisted living side and the staff has been so helpful and wonderful making sure Grandpa is taken care of and comfortable. We highly recommend Traditions of Hershey for the wonderful, kind community of staff and residents. We love coming here to visit Grandpa and are so happy he is well taken care of everyday.

The last place my sister lived in was assisted living. Traditions is more retirement community-like and less like a family. Most people keep to themselves in their own apartments. Having a comfortable community TV area would be nice. But she really likes the activities, her apartment and the close friends she has made there. It’s a very pretty, clean, comfortable building.

My father has found a new home at Traditions. His needs are met on a daily basis with excellent meals, a variety of activities, the availability of therapy, and a wide range of residents who have become fast friends.

My in-laws stayed at Traditions for a short time. It is such a beautiful place. From the first day we walked in to tour to our last communication with the staff and administrator was nothing short of perfect. Everyone we came in contact with were happy to be working there or happy to be living there. It is like a vacation community for senior living. Unfortunately their stay was cut short due to needing skilled nursing care. They enjoyed their stay and still talk about how much they liked it there and wish they were still there. The entire staff is awesome. Very loving and caring From the kitchen to maintenance, personal care unit and management. They cared for my mother in law to a quality second to none. We are very pleased with their personal attention to her and us, the family. If I could give them a 10 star I would. You won’t go wrong with putting the care of a loved one in their hands. They provide great activities And entertainment. Rick the bus driver worked with us to get Mom to drs appointments even if it wasn’t on scheduled days. Lauren the activities director, had first class entertainment. The kitchen provides wonderful food. If you can’t find something great to eat, you are way to picky. Their salad bar alone is awesome. Home made soups, at least 2 different entree’s. Everything was cooked to perfection. No mushy veggies with no flavor. I will stop now, just can’t say enough about this place. One more thing, their rent prices are also reasonable for what they provide, better than any other place we checked out. Tracey McCarthy
