I wanted to share a genuine shout out to Shari and Sarah who have supported many of my clients with top level customer service when hosting us for tours and education. They truly care. You can tell from the warm greeting and smiles you get when greeted at the door! They are interested in the family as much as the potential resident. The right questions are asked and they establish trust and understanding instantly. I watch my clients come in at times nervous and anxious. These woman are so good at what they do. I feel the tension leave and the concerns are conveyed with ease and willingness. The tour is always based on the specific circumstances and I love how they do this so seamlessly. Keep it up!! We appreciate you and what you do for the community. Way to go!! 10 !!

I had the best experience at Birches of Newtown. It was clean and had a warm, inviting feel. Their executive director, Lakia, is wonderful. She made me feel at home and spent time answering all of my questions. The residents were all smiling and happy. I would highly recommend you visit here if you are looking for a home for a loved one !!

I had the pleasure of touring The Birches at Newtown today and was so impressed. From the moment I arrived, the community felt warm, welcoming, and full of heart. It’s a beautiful location tucked right in Bucks County. Betsy, the Marketing Director, was so kind and informative ” you can tell she genuinely cares about the families she works with. If you’re exploring senior living or memory care options for a loved one, The Birches is definitely worth a visit

Anyone that has dealt with having to find a facility for their parent because they can longer provide the care they require at home agrees it is a very difficult, heart wrenching decision. With that being said, from the moment we walked in for a tour our worries began to dissipate. The staff is remarkable. Administration wanted to know every possible detail about my mom so that they could make her feel at home and comfortable. The care team is truly wonderful as well. She is engaging in many activities and socializing now. Fox Physical Therapy has an office location on site. The place is immaculate, you can tell maintenance takes great pride in the facility because they are always painting or freshening up different areas. We are beyond grateful.

Independent living at Birches is ok, but please stay away from the assisted living part of Birches, God Awful! If I can say a very positive thing about Birches Independent Living is Christine. She is a Saint and truly cares about the elderly.

I have a good story to tell you about the Birches My father ended up here in March of this year (2024) after being in hospitals and rehabs for 3 months due to continuous falls. He was pretty beat up and very frail when he arrived. The staff immediately took him in and took over his care. I live in Newtown and was there every day, but the staff really led the effort to convalesce him. My family and I (after much deliberation) decided to put him on hospice care. Best decision we could have possibly made. We had so many different resources available to us suddenly. My dad was in even better care than before and an angel named Cay from Gentiva hospice took over his care and counseled our family. It was truly life saving. My father passed away peacefully and comfortably on May 16, 2024. We were shattered, but the entire hospice team was there for us and our mother, his wife of almost 70 years. She was still living in their small house in Buckingham Springs (a wonderful over 55 community). Our family decided we needed to move my mom into the Birches, she fought us for several months. I became fed up in mid July and just picked her up and brought her there and stayed with her for the first twelve hours or so. The next morning I came over to see her and she was already off and running. Making friends, learning the routine’s, etc. I realized she was so lonely living at her former house with literally no one to talk to since my dad was gone. It is now almost mid December and my mom is thriving! She has a close circle of friends that spend all day together. When I visit her I spend time with her friends daughters and sons that also visit at the same time. It’s one big happy family. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Birches. The caregivers know my mom very well and are always letting me know the slightest thing they notice regarding her physical or mental health. My mom is very safe, well taken care of, and loved at the Birches. Her meals in their beautiful dining room are excellent as well. The Birches is not a large facility, so when you call their main number to inquire about your mother or father, the receptionist will respond with something like she just went outside to sit on the front porch with her friends to enjoy the sun. It’s very comforting to know. I was there on Friday of last week to visit and walked into a full blown party with an Elvis impersonator. I’m not sure who enjoyed it more, myself or the residents. If you are thinking of a place for your elderly parent, at least stop by and check out this one. I toured many, and NONE compared to warm feeling I got at the Birches

I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I and my family are for the wonderful, loving care provided to my father during his assisted-living residency at the Birches. I am in awe of the high level of care he received from everyone there. It is so apparent that the staff not only does their jobs well, but does them with the utmost level of respect and tender care from their hearts. Though he never wanted to leave his home, the best testimony was when my father thanked me for bringing him to the Birches. He told me that he was very happy there. For the first time in years he gained new friendships, engaged in many community activities and ate three great meals every day. Thank you Birches, you are truly angels! Lynn Goodwin

Wow, because this is what you will say when you walk through the door. This place is beyond amazing. The atmosphere tastes great, and the energy is flawless. This place is great if you want your loved one to go to one of the top retirement places. This is hands down. But don't take my word for it. Come and check it out for yourself.

By far the best, most dedicated, accommodating, and loving staff. In my opinion, this is the most important aspect of any resident care facility.

The Birches at Newtown is an amazing place! I work for a home care company doing Marketing/Recruiting and I've had the privilege of visiting The Birches quite a few times. I always love going there and seeing how the staff interacts with the residents. They are loving, compassionate, and genuine people who really care about the residents. The food is excellent, they have a movie theater with an old school pop corn stand, art/music classes, a hip hair salon, a beautiful banquet hall/private dining area for fancy parties/family dinners, and their activities director is truly dedicated to providing the best entertainment possible for the residents. This place is one of a kind, and I hope it's still there when I can no longer age in place. Would 100% recommend this community to anyone looking for a new place to call home!

The Birches is a wonderful organization that not only cares for the individuals in their facility, but about the community around them. The employees and staff have opened their doors to allow students with disabilities to assist in volunteering around the facility. Their openness and willingness to provide our learners with the ability to gain real job experience is incredibly valuable. We are proud to support the Birches and their mission and be part of the Birches family!

My colleagues and I have performed about six antiques roadshows over the past few years there and it never ceases to amaze me how clean the inside of the building is, how nice and hospitable the staff is, and how happy the residents are. This place is like staying at a posh hotel with all the amenities. When we perform our roadshow, we have it in the spacious A/V room where normally residents would watch movies, etc. Every room, hallway, and bathroom are all kept so immaculate. This place is an excellent example of Senior Living. We enjoyed our few hours there and we will again down the road.

I visited the Birches of Newtown for a tour of the facility yesterday. The building had a welcoming feeling from the entry way through-out the whole facility. Everyone I meet was friendly, cordial and seemed to care very much about their residents. I was especially impressed by the large, bright dining hall and how inviting it looked. A real plus at the Birches is that they have an in-house therapy room for Fox Rehab with the necessary equipment, and a therapist available for their residents. The Birches of Newtown will be a loved one’s home and the facility gives the distinct impression that it wants their resident to feel their home.

The Birches of Newtown is a great facility. I've had a few relatives who have stayed in for personal care. The facility is clean, the food is good and most of all the workers who help and assist those staying in the facility are wonderful. I give Birches a FIVE star rating. Thank you for your kindness. Keep up the good work Birches.
