Our staff works hard to maintain our principles and preserve the dignity of our senior residents from Mount Joy. We encourage independence and celebrate the independence of our residents. Juniper Village at Mount Joy meal plans that are prepared with fresh ingredients daily from specially designed menus. We also offer snacks between meal times. Willow Valley tossed my mother out because they didn't have memory care. Amazing. Building skyscrapers downtown but couldn't do that. A person who works in elder care said that Juniper was the place to be and that person was right! What a nice place! She is healthier and happier now.

I love visiting Juniper and seeing the residents happy and alert. They love to sit in the living room (now that Covid is departing) talk with visitors. We play music for the resident and they seem well cared for and happy. Weve played at many homes and Juniper is a great place to live!

As a musician who plays in many retirement homes, we love Juniper Village! The residents appear happy and well cared for, and the staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The activities director, Renee Lentz, provides a wide variety of programs for the residents in different areas of the Juniper Village community. We always look forward to our visits there, whether for our regular visits or special holiday events. I highly recommend Juniper Village in Mount Joy for your loved ones.

I have worked at retirement communities since 2003, and find that Juniper Village is one of the nicest in Lancaster County and PA. The residents are well cared for and always look happy and comfortable. Its a homelike environment and everyone is very friendly. A big part of the community life relies on a good Activities Director. Juniper Village has Renee Lentz. She is an excellent certified Activity Director through NCCAP, as well as a certified Activities Consultant. Renee makes sure the residents have a variety of great programs and events to take part in, which allows them to continue to grow. Over the years, I have been a speaker for them on various topics like Reiki or Dowsing. I have done travelogs like The AQS Quilt show and The Farm Show. I also led a paint night group. Renee likes to offer new opportunities for her residents to explore. She is passionate about her work and it shows! Renee is a past president of LADA - Lancaster Activity Director Association. Choosing Juniper Village for yourself or a loved one is a great choice. Look up Renee to find out what is being offered currently. Shes warm and caring and always willing to help others. Its a decision you wont regret.

We toured this facility and were blown away with the cleanliness, kindness of employees, attention to detail, and knowledge of staff. We feel so much better knowing that when the time comes, we have the perfect spot to place our aging parent. She will love the warm and caring environment that awaits her at Juniper Village.

We placed my grandmother here when we noticed she needed more assistance with overall care due to her Alzheimers and Parkinsons. We were thoroughly pleased with her care. The staff were amazing and her quality of life was better. I couldnt have been more happy to visit my grandma with my kids here.

I have worked for Juniper for almost 11 years and plan to spend the rest of my career here because of who I work with and what we do. I enjoy spending my day with people who actually enjoy taking care of others and care about their quality of life. You can train associates to do a job but you cant teach them how to care. Juniper Village at Mount Joy excels at caring for each other and the people that call this place home!

My sister lived at Juniper for 10 months and I do not have one negative thing to say. From management, clerical, medical staff, food service and housekeeping, EVERYONE was amazing. When she became gravely ill, Hospice care joined the nursing staff, and coordinated her end of life care right up til the end. If you are seeking ultimate care for a loved one, in a beautiful, clean, welcoming atmosphere, please go visit Juniper Village in Mt. Joy, you will not be disappointed!

Juniper Village at Mount Joy is a lovely personal care community in the heart of Lancaster County. As an employee, I love the drive to work through the rolling hills and lovely scenery. The staff are top notch and the residents truly appreciate the extra care and attention they receive.
