A beautiful facility! They even have a courtyard. The residents can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air, plentiful birds, and a little pond for fish. The staff is also fantastic. I love this place!

Oakwood Terrace is a nice ,clean ,family oriented facility...They treat their residents with kindness and love. My Motherinlaw has been a resident there for sometime now and our family has no worries about her being there. I can't say enough about Oakwood Terrace and the care that they have given my Mom. I truly believe that the memory care they provide has given my Mom more ability to be physically active and very mentally active. There are always events and activities planned for all the residents and their families. Oakwood terrace is a wonderful facility. The activity director is always planning new ideas for the residents to engage with each other and the staff. The trips she has planned so far have been very fun and exciting. I have been fortunate to be a part of some of the trips and activities and have always had a fantastic time. The kitchen and food they produce is wonderful visually as well as tasty. The staff work hard to help the residents everyday feel happy and at home.

My sister has had three Respite stays at Oakwood this past year while some of the family members were on vacation. I have very high praise for the entire facility right from management, director, nursing staff, cleaning staff, activities director and food service. My apologies if I missed any department. My sister was very happy there, she “loved” the food and we are more than pleased and feel very secure when she is staying there during her respite period. Thanks to all the staff at Oakwood. You’re doing a great service for the residents and families.

The staff is so accommodating !! Very friendly.. treat you like one of their own family !! It’s very clean .. never has the smell typical of walking into a care facility ! That sold me first !! Food is fabulous !! Kyle can cook for me any day !! Corrine is the most amazing activities Director !! Never misses a beat celebrating national days!! Really keeps the residents moving!! For a facility that takes care of individuals with dementia, this is fabulous!! The nursing staff is amazing also.. right on top of issues.. reaching out to family when necessary !! They are so lucky to have Ed as their director . He makes sure everything is to code and looks into what can be done to make it an even better living experience !! The backyard .. is so calming for everyone . I know my mom loves sitting out in the gazebo on warm sunny day!

After the difficult decision to look into assisted living for my father-in-law, we went through the low of a poorly run facility that lacked empathy. While looking for a better environment with compassionate, well-versed staff, we found Oakwood Terrace. From the moment Edward Metzger came to meet my father-in-law in the hospital for emergency placement, I knew that Oakwood would be the answer we were so desperately looking for. After he was settled in, I had the opportunity to meet the caring, diligent staff. They continue to go above and beyond for the well-being and comfort of the residents. The staff ensures the environment is cleanly, safe, and, most of all, comfortable for not only the residence, but for the families as well. One of the reasons I chose Oakwood Terrace for my husband is the fact it is a small facility that is clean, bright, cheerful with a wonderful caring, compassionate staff! Every holiday, whether big or small , is celebrated so lovely for the residents. Daily activities are so well planned and the meals are very tastefully prepared and served hot! Afternoon and evening treats are loved by the residents! Glad I made the right choice!
