When the time came to move my elderly aunt into an assisted-living facility, I made the choice to move her into Oak Leaf Manor South. Their home is smaller, which gave me comfort knowing that my aunt would be more comfortable moving about in her new surroundings. The staff is family-minded, caring, and treats their residents with respect & dignity. They allow the residents as much independence as they can accept until they are unable or less willing. They have numerous daily activities for interaction to stimulate their minds, make them laugh, and even help to heal their hearts. I know that their staff helped to heal my heart every time I walked through their doors! I am truly thankful that I chose Oak Leaf Manor South.

Placing my mother in memory care was a difficult decision. Oak Leaf South staff were support, caring and very patient. They provided me with support when dealing with insurance and finances, as well as, making me feel welcomed. Residents can enjoy a wide variety of activities. I will forever be grateful to the staff at Oak Leaf South.

I have been married to Martha for 43 years. Her health was failing and it was no longer safe for her to be by herself. She needed 24, 7 support. I was concerned that I would not be able to find a caring environment where Martha would be safe but still able to lead an active life. I was fortunate to find Oak Leaf Manor South. I visit Martha frequently and see first hand the caring and loving environment Oak Leaf provides. I know Martha is happy and can rely on the staff to take care of her. There are also activities. Martha likes the singers and musicians especially. I still work full time, but have peace of mind that Martha is happy and safe.

My mother has been a resident at Oak Leaf South since 2014, and she has definitely embraced it has her home. Ive gotten to know many of the staff members and know they care about each and every resident as if they were their own. They take excellent care of everyone and always advise me if there is something I should be aware of or need to take care of for Mom. I visit at least two times a week and the place (inside and outside) is always clean and well kept. Thank you to all involved with my mothers care. Id recommend this facility to anyone looking for personal care, assisted living.

My brother has been treated very kindly at Oak Leaf South from when he arrived in August of 2018 to the present. The staff has been super helpful and friendly! Pat especially enjoys the home cooked meals and regained all the weight that he had lost due to a fall. Thank you again for making his stay more like home!

Its never an easy decision as to when a loved one needs more assistance than you can give at home. After checking out many other places, I moved my mom into Oak Leaf Manor this past spring and she and I could not be happier. The facilities are homey and exceptionally well-maintained. Mom reports the food is great and plentiful. The staff is friendly and they offer excellent nursing care, as well as fun activities for the residents, and even provide a hair salon. My mom has benefitted from being around others seniors and feeling a sense of independence. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with the choice I made for mom. I thank my lucky star every day that she is well cared for and happy.

My Dad had dementia and lived at Oak Leaf Manor for a number of years. He passed away from Pancreatic cancer in January . I feel that Oak Leaf Manor and all the care providers were such a gift to dad and I. The staff was always friendly, patient, competent, caring, and quick to respond to questions or issues. When dad was brought back from the hospital after the cancer diagnosis, the support from the Oak Leaf staff was phenomenal. They eased an unbearable situation. They cared for him; worked cooperatively with hospice, and helped him journey to the next life with as much comfort as anyone could ever give. I could never repay them enough.

My Mom moved in Oct 30th 2014 and says she is sooooo happy she did. Everyone is so loving and caring and I feel very comfortable knowing that she is being taken care of. God Bless all the caring people that work there.
