Absolutely beautiful facility with very friendly, caring staff. Tracey gave us a tour and explained everything in detail. She also genuinely loves her job and firmly believes this place treats our loved ones like family. It was extremely clean and we felt so welcomed. Highly recommend!

While visiting many times I have spoken to some great staff. But Ron the administrator is a very big sour puss! Not friendly at all! Have said Hi and he turns his head. What a jerk!!! Cleanliness of the patients is not kept up very well for the ones who need it. 2 showers a week is not enough! The place looks nice on the outside but as usual walk down the halls the smell of urine hits you. This is uncalled for for all the money these people pay. And to have such a sour puss running the place! On another visit and most of staff are very nice except that unfriendly pitiful Ron! What a sourpuss!! He needs to get a different job! He is not someone to see when you walk into that place! Very very unfriendly!!!

The Lakes at Jefferson has been an absolute blessing for our family. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, and the level of care and compassion they show truly sets this place apart. I especially want to recognize Jonelle, who is nothing short of wonderful. She is kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. Her warmth and professionalism give our family incredible peace of mind. Knowing that my father is cared for with such patience, respect, and dignity means everything to us. The environment is welcoming, clean, and supportive, and it’s clear that the team treats residents like family rather than just patients. I’m deeply grateful for the love and attention they provide every day. I would highly recommend The Lakes at Jefferson to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will truly be cared for. For the people leaving bad reviews you need to stop and realize this is not Jonelle or Ron's fault, these moves come from a corporate level and not at the buildings level, your defaming the character of 2 Human beings just trying to do what they are told! Half of the residents in assisted living belonged in Long Term Care anyways hence the reason for long term care! Defaming someone's character isn't going to change the outcome of your issue, defamation of character is illegal and there are consequences for your actions so beware what you say about people!

The Lakes of Jefferson is such a gem here in Mercer, PA. The property is always beautiful, clean, and well cared for, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. Jonelle goes above and beyond”she is incredibly kind, responsive, and truly cares about the residents and community. You can tell she puts her heart into everything she does, and it makes a huge difference. If you’re looking for a welcoming, well-managed community with a great environment and even better people, The Lakes of Jefferson is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this personal care home. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, and compassion from the staff. The staff is attentive to my mother's needs and has made sure she hasn't missed an appointment,or lab draw. They have even transported her and stayed with her to appointments when I couldn't be there- knowing that my mother is safe, and we'll cared for emotionally and socially gives me peace of mind- I highly recommend the Lakes at Jefferson

The Lakes at Jefferson is a very nice facility for independent living and personal care.if your loved one needs nursing home care this is not the facility for you. Jonelle, the wellness director is very kind to the residents and definitely advocates for them. The facility provides activities that the residents can enjoy and the grounds are lovely. Pay a visit to The Lakes if you are interested. I’m sure you would be offered a tour of the facility and get any questions answered that you may have!

We have cared for numerous residents including traveling all the way to Washington D.C. Our caregivers are always willing to go to The Lakes because they are in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In addition to their commitment to providing outstanding care, The Lakes at Jefferson also supports community initiatives. They recently partnered with our Non-Profit Team Rich for a month-long collection drive for Chemo Care Bags. Thank you for everything you do for the Shenango Valley.

Very nice place and very clean. My mother has been in assisted living for 6 months. They have activities everyday she can join in to keep active. Staff and nurses always helpful in answering any questions any time.

After my father passed away, my mother could not find her joy again. Covid only made things worse. Then we found the Lakes at Jefferson. My mother loved it from the day she moved in. She has made many friends and the staff is amazing. She lives independently but the staff is always there to help her when she needs it. NOT what we found at her last independent living situation. She is so happy there! I'd give it 100 stars if I could.

I’m very pleased with my Mother’s care at the Lakes. The staff is wonderful. They alway answer my questions concerning my Mothers care, and always greet me with a wave or hello when I’m there to visit. I like that it is not a huge facility and everyone gets to know the residents and their families. Thank you Team Lakes at Jefferson!

My dad was in a home that I had to get him out of due to the care he got was unsatisfactory not because I expected the best of everything for him because he was my father,but because the elderly deserve the best and the price for his care at 8,000 plus a month was a bit much for lack of what him and I'm sure alot of other residents didn't get.I found THE LAKES AT JEFFERSON by accident, and from that day on I'm am so Glad I did...I can Not say enough about the CARE,COMPASSION, KNOWLEDGE, ANSWERS that are right on to the questions you need answered.The place is beautiful,clean,very well ran,all in all the BEST place to be,that I would want to be at that stage in my life. I have worked over 18+ years in that field and None of them were no where near to THE LAKES AT JEFFERSON.They give that extra one on one care and time to the residents that need it and my dad was one of them.He passed away there,and I can say I am greatful and content that his final days were there.They were compassionate to me and husband from the moment I was told my dad passed,to the last time I was there or spoke with them.I was recommended to a funeral home by one of my dads Hospice nurses which is another I am grateful for.They picked my father up,covered his body with a flag,the other residents and workers at THE LAKES honored my dad as he was taken away.The prices are exceptionally great,but the 1 thing I will Never for get is, your loved ones will get the best of everything possible by people who are not just there for a pay check,but by people who care.Thank You All for coming in to my life at my time of need and for the Exceptionally great work you do.God Bless You All.If there were high rates t&ey would surely get them from me...
