Rose tree place is a special place. My mom has been a resident for just about 1 year. The care, communication and warmth of this community is exceptional. This community and its staff are absolutely amazing. From Mike who handles their marketing and onboarding ,to Terry in the medical office, and Brian the administrator/director. Mike took the time to meet with my wife and I and eventually my mother in law, and did absolutely everything in his power to make the entire process of finding the right place and moving in as easy and seamless as possible. Now, after a month of living at Rose Tree Place, my mother in law is thriving and has a level of happiness that I have not seen in a long time. She loves her apartment and the fact that she can decorate it o fit her personality. She loves the restaurant style dining room and the variety and quality of the meals. My mother in law has even come out of her shell quite a bit, participating in different classes/activities and even making new friends. Overall we couldn't ask for more, as we have peace of mind for her safely/wellbeing and her happiness. From the moment we first walked into Rose Tree Place, we knew it was the right place for my mother-in-law. Mike and the entire staff made us feel welcome. Everyone we met”residents, their families, and staff”told us how happy we were going to be there. We were truly looking forward to it and even moved her things in, but unfortunately, she never had the chance to join the community. In that difficult time, Mike was incredibly gracious, giving us the space to be with family without worrying about the apartment. Even though we didn’t get to be part of the community, we know in our hearts it was the right place.

My grandfather has enjoyed living at Rose Tree. He’s been well taken care of, receives the services he needs, and enjoys the activities put on by the community. Our family has noticed a big improvement in his physical, emotional, and mental health since moving into it. We can’t thank the staff enough! Highly recommended! Updated 12/2024: My grandfather continues to thrive at Rose Tree Place. I have made referrals to neighbors recommending and a few have chosen to also send their loved ones there. Their staff is a cut above and we have always enjoyed getting to be a part of the 4th of July celebrations with my grandfather. He has gotten to enjoy rides on the boat in Marsh Creek State Park and carriage rides with his great grand kids. My son and I are always welcomed with such smiles from the residents and staff when we come to visit. And more importantly, knowing my grandfather’s quality of life and safety has improved since being at Rose tree place.

Rose Tree Place is senior living tucked away in Media and it truly is a hidden gem! Two years ago my siblings and I had to look at alternative living situations for our dad and we were very nervous going through the process. We looked at different places and by the grace of God a social worker mentioned Rose Tree Place. We toured the facility and met with Mike Rasmussen who made us feel so comfortable knowing this was a hard decision for us. Thanks to Mike and the rest of the staff, this was the best decision we ever made! Our dad is thriving! I follow the Facebook page and I always catch my dad in the photos enjoying the activities! Some activities include: trips to Marsh Creek & Apple Walnut Cafe, parades, baseball with Mike (my dads favorite), card games, music, movies, etc! It is peace of mind that he is in a place that truly cares for him & his quality of life. There are no words to truly express the gratitude my family has for Rose Tree Place!

My Dad has lived at Rose Tree for over a year now. The caring of all of the staff is phenomenal. We could not have wished for a better place for him. He enjoys the music, social hours, sports talks and even going on lunch trips. We would like to send our appreciation to all the management and staff at Rose Tree Place. Update: December 2024 My Dad is still enjoying his time at Rose Tree place. Mike Rasmussen eased our transition when we first moved in and has been a shining star whenever we encounter him on a visit to Dad. Dad especially enjoys challenging Mike in the baseball with Mike class and sharing books and articles with Mike about all the various sports Dad loves. You can see how Mike and all the staff from the receptionists, to the nursing staff, to the social coordinators, the kitchen and dining staff , the maintenance staff and Brian the executive director are actively engaged in caring for all the residents. I cannot emphasize the relief that our family feels knowing that Dad is being cared for, having fun and hanging out with friends! Special shout out to Terry Gallo’s nursing staff. Joe took awesome care of Dad today when he had some health issues. He even has him drinking water! Miracles do happen!

Very recently our family had to start researching Memory Care options for our Mom. This was the worst process, but made easier by the compassionate way Michael Rasmussen from Rose Tree Place helped us. He was patient and very responsive to our endless questions. Every person that we met with, reflected Michael’s compassion. Joy from sales also was so kind. Front desk..for get the names of the women that always greet with a smile and are there to help with anything. Sherley is the Director of Nursing, she sealed the deal with her attentiveness towards our Mom’s specific needs for care. I am so grateful that my parents are at Rose Tree Place. They are well looked after and plenty of activities in which to participate. They made friends easily. Staff is very kind and caring. They call me whenever there is a concern. When my mother's Alzheimer's progressed she was placed in the Memory Unit which also has very supportive staff and appropriate, engaging activities. I sleep well at night knowing they're there.

Rose Tree was extremely supportive and helpful when I found myself unexpectedly needing additional care for my mother. The team was incredibly communicative and accommodating, but never pushy. They made the process seamless and easy. This support has remained intact since my mom moved in, and on more than one occasion, the team has gone "above and beyond" As for my mom's experience, she is enthralled with the Friday concerts, and has found community through other activities that connect to her identity. She also enjoys the food and has said "no one can make a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich quite like their team". In an otherwise challenging situation, Rose Tree really created a good transition for my mom and our family.

Our father has been a resident at Rose Tree Place for the last couple of months. We toured several care facilities before making our final decision. We chose Rose Tree Place because of the proximity to family, the cleanliness of the facility, the type of apartment, availability of services, and the incredible staff. From the minute we walked in and was greeted by Lisa and Laura, we knew this was a place that cared about their residents. The staff knows all the residents by name and takes the time to communicate and laugh with them on a daily basis. Terry and the medical staff are great at communicating medical updates. We love that Dad gets treated by the in house doctors. Karen does a great job with activities and the restaurant has very good food and yummy desserts. Rose Tree Place is the best!

I came to visit a family member who just moved to Rose Tree Place. I have to say when I got out of my car and walked to the entrance, the view was so breathtaking with incredible flowers and decor along the wayit was definitely welcoming. I moved my mom into Rose Tree Place yesterday and everything is going great. Mike the coordinator and Lisa the receptionist and Terry the head nurse were all great and have been great since the planning. I read a lot of reviews and talked with several home nurses about Rose Tree and it was always positive. I think mom will do great there.

Rose Tree Place has been terrific for my mom. After my dad passed away, it was an adjustment period for my mom but the staff especially Michael, the Marketing Director has been very accommodating and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about Rose Tree Place.

We moved both mom and dad into Rose Tree last summer and it has been a very positive experience. Mom had a stroke and has trouble getting around and dad has dementia. RT has been able to accomodate all of their needs and has taken great care of them. The food is really good (they both gained weight) and there are a lot of activities so they never get bored. The staff are all very pleasant and mom and dad have built relationships with their direct caregivers. We like the fact that we know they are safe and well cared for. We highly recommend RT when it comes time for that next phase of life.

Mike Raz and the team at Rose Tree Place are great and work wonders for the residents here. I know of residents who've moved in after hospital / rehab stays and continue their PT right here at the community. Residents are stronger and much happier once their therapy is complete.

Michael Rasmussen leads a team who is consistently responsive and caring with his warm smile and ease of accessibility. The nursing, aide, and rehabilitation teams are stellar. As a physical therapist I thank Jim for dancing in PT with Mom to make the journey so much fun. Our family is so grateful and highly recommend entrusting the care of a precious member of your family here at RTP!

My parents have lived at Rose Tree Place for the last few months and my family and I are so appreciative of the support and care they receive there on a day-to-day basis and as needed. Mike went above and beyond to help us with moving my parents in. My dad has had acute medical issues that have been supported at Rose Tree Place and we have been so grateful for the staff and nursing team, knowing he is in good hands. The staff are knowledgeable, patient and caring. There are daily activities for residents including socials, sing-alongs, performances, and games. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate. My parents have also taken advantage of the physical therapy offered and my mom is looking forward to using the gym equipment soon with the support of the physical therapist who will teach her how to use the equipment so she can then use it on her own. We are so grateful to Mike, Karen, Jim, Evon, Lisa, Laura, Fran, and all the staff at Rose Tree Place for caring for my parents now that they need more care.

When the time came when mom was no longer safe to remain in her house, we began the arduous task of finding a new home for her. We visited several local assisted- living facilities and knew immediately that they were unsuitable. To the contrary, we knew immediately that Rose Tree Place was perfect for her. She moved into a bright, cozy apartment. Her medications were monitored and medical staff was always available. She could have her hair done on the premises in their salon. She met friends with whom she played Bingo and enjoyed meals. Such a relief to have found Rose Tree Place. We were happy because she was happy.

We toured several assisted living residences before picking Rose Tree Place. My dad has lived at Rose Tree Place for almost a year and we are so grateful we made the choice. The staff is kind and treats my dad, and the other residents, with dignity. The apartments are more spacious than other places we toured. The dining hall is wonderful- residents have choices of daily specials, with standards always on in case they don't like the specials.

My mom was at Rose Tree for almost a year and increasingly needed a lot more assistance. Rose Tree took excellent care of her. Facility management was very caring and often went the extra mile even in the middle of managing a pandemic. While the performance of the aides was somewhat more mixed, many of them became very close to my mom and provided her a lot of comfort. Overall, I was very satisfied with Rose Tree and would recommend it.

Our Mom moved to Rose Tree Place from another area Senior Living place and we could not have been happier. The entire staff was wonderful to deal with including the admins, aides, nurses, housekeeping, and dining room. The building and Mom's room was kept clean, the entertainment was good, and the food was very good. Most important, the people there really care and demonstrate their compassion and kindness. I would highly recommend this community.

To start with, I rarely write reviews on places, but I was so impressed by Rose Tree Place I think they deserve a comment. I have been in multiple personal care facilities in the area when visiting friends and Rose Tree Place is definitely one of the nicest! The staff were all very kind and seem to really care about the residents. The facility is well maintained and very clean! When I got there the other day, my friend was down in physical & occupational therapy and she said that it has really helped her get stronger. When I get to the point that I need to move into a personal care facility, I will definitely be going to Rose Tree Place!
