Computer check-in at the front door recognized my info & whom I was visiting. But I was also greeted warmly by front desk Concierge. Nice selection of varied choices on lunch menu. Food was very good. Our lunch staff 'Kya' (sp?) was lovely and very helpful & efficient.

The staff are very caring and attentive to our family member. The nursing staff particularly Jamie is excellent in the care she provides to our mom. Sheryl the Memory Program Director develops programs for the patients and is constantly on the floor checking on patients! She has even placed menu orders for our mom and checked on laundry needs. She leads a quarterly meeting for family members which we found very educational and helpful! We will be attending the meeting this month! We are pleased with our mom’s care! Highly recommend Oxford for your loved one’s care! God Bless John and Debbie (Sarah’s daughter and son in law)

Have only been in twice to visit my mother in rehab who had a stroke, but like what I see so far. The overall vibe is good and staff seems engaged, not burnt out. 4 starts since communication, not to family or patient, but with staff is weak and questions can't be readily answered. It seems it's not the immediate staff's fault, but those above them. Communicate. My mom complains about the food. I've been there to witness it. It's inedible. Facility is good. Meals are not.

The admission staff has been helpful with the process of transitioning my mother to the Memory Care unit. The staff in the unit are kind and engaging creating a safe and joyful environment where the residents are treated with respect and care. The rooms and hallways are always clean and bright with lovely poster sized photos of nature. The folks at Oxford should be proud of the exceptional work they do and the care they provide.

I understand that my dad was quite belligerent with the staff this morning prior to my arrival. You never would’ve known that from the way everyone spoke with me. Each person was kind, professional, and thoughtful while discussing his care and discharge plan. I’m truly grateful for the wonderful care and professionalism shown, especially given that my dad was not easy to work with.

There are some things that I didn't particularly care for at Oxford Rehab. However, I don't want to start there because some of those are more architectural and design issues. Let's start with Tamika J., the concierge: She was always pleasant and approachable even in her very long hours of work. There was Kara L, the wound nurse who went above the area of wound to accommodate an immediate bathroom issue with my mother--Excellent work. There was Kara B. who was knowledgeable and informative in her interactions- Necessary. I was so very pleased with the CNAs, Shawn and Tomari who worked extremely well with my mother and tried very hard to finagle their jobs with my mom's particularities- Fantastic. THE CONSISTANTLY PROFESSIONAL, caring, informative, and a Get Things Done kind of person, was Ashley A. Whenever I had a question about the process, even if she couldn't answer it immediately, she'd get back to me with an answer. She handled the transition home with the durables items we needed with ease and expertise. The HUGE factor driving this whole star review is that there was an issue that needed to be handled through corporate and a few other arenas. She was told what the issue was and immediately got the information to the right people who moved it up the chain and kept me informed the entire time! That kind of handling of situations, from giving information to getting big things done, are the kinds of things that families and patients need when they come into an environment that is as foreign and scary as this can be. Ashley A., thank you! Tony, Liz, and Temka in PT were quite helpful for the time that is allotted. Back to the architectural and design points: why would there be call lights that are above the doors and flush with the ceiling in such a way that the ceiling beams block them from being seen if you aren't right there? Why weren't the bathrooms for the patients that share four to a single sink and toilet ( really?) set up so that wheelchairs and walkers can get into them more freely and have elevated toilet seats with handrails? Staffing seemed a bit sparse a lot of times leaving personnel unable. Not good. Staff your establishments. It would run so much better with 1 more RN, 1 more CNA. I know there must be something they could do. I saw it and I was just walking through.

My wife required living and high level care after cancer surgery and Oxford took very good care of her. Management was very responsive to requests. There are many skilled nurses and wonderful OT, PT and SLP therapists on staff. SLP was especially helpful. The social worker in charge of the discharge process did not measure up to the rest of the staff, but was more responsive when prompted to do so.

I recently visited this Oxford rehabilitation center and was truly impressed. The building was very clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional.. you can really tell they care about the residents and their families. It’s refreshing to see a facility that takes pride in both the environment and the quality of care they provide. I left feeling confident and grateful knowing this is a place where residents are treated with genuine kindness and respect. Highly recommend!

This care facility Nursing Home is very clean! It smells really good! The staff is sweet and kind and caring! I am super happy. My father is in a great place!
October 2025
The atmosphere of the place is ok. The one thing I noticed was the aides/nurses, when sitting in the dining room with the residents they are on their phones the whole time. They don’t pay attention to the people who need to be supervised very well. You are there to work not be on the phone. The food is also horrible. The dinners have been horrible for my dad since he has been there most of the time it’s not even edible to him . I feel like the cooks might need to take a class in cooking. Other than this my dad is doing well with his therapy and is looking forward to going home.

My mother lived in the independent living community for about 11 years. She was very happy there until it became Oxford Enanced living. The rennovations that were done unfortunately are not the taste of older residents, and appeal more to the millenal age group. It is very pricey and not at all homey. The wicker furniture was part of that feeling of home, cozy and clean. Now its more like a hotel. They took the card room at the front to make a bistro complete with high top marble table which very few residets with mobility issues can even use. The food is for the most part borders on ugh! Food is often served lukewarm or cold and is tasteless. Its a step or two below when Attleboro owned the facility. My mother was not very happy there for the last 2 or so years. A sad ending to an otherwise beautiful full life. There are numerous issues. that need to be corrected there. If a resident falls the facility depends on amblulance crew to pick them up. After 5:00 its like a ghost town once dinner is over. My mother has lost her balance and has fallen at least 3 times in the past 5 years and most of those times they depended on family to assist my mother in getting up. If family is not available they call the ambulance which is a considerable expense to the resident. The rent is quite steep and I feel she did not get value for her money. I have been to several other facilities and to be fair they have some of the same issues. Its just a big change for the residents who have been there a long time. The icing on the cake is the complete lack of caraing on the part of the corporation that owns it just doesnt care for the comfort and happiness of the residents. Its just a busisness to them and that is keeenly ferlt by yhr folks that live there. Make sure you get to taqste the food before you sign on the dotted line.

I wanted to take a moment to share about Ellen Michael, Executive Director with Oxford Enhanced Senior Living. Her role is to handle day to day operations along with overseeing the independent living community. When I take clients to tour her gorgeous home like community she hosts with such passion and enthusiasm. I was so impressed each time that she truly knows the residents that reside in there. They clearly trust her and talk to her. She is invested in their community and making sure it is a true home setting. Most independent living centers are more like apartment buildings. You come and go with no real sense of community. Ellen is very well versed in all things senior living. She has an extensive knowledge of all the aspects of the aging adult and makes her building a home. They welcome you with a sign that has your name on it when you tour. They are invested from the moment you arrive for a tour and throughout your stay. Hands down a the heart and passion are seen. The staff is friendly and lovely. Thank you for this opportunity to share some thoughts!
