Today is my birthday and they allowed my mother to let me be present during a little concert/ show gathering via video call°The performer sang directly to me, send birthday wishes and sang really well. However, the facility is a bit overpriced & Some of the staff/Aides does display patience & compassion for my aged mother. And some tend to get short with her from overstimulation from the job. Trust! I totally get it! I was overstimulated bringing a cart full of her monthly groceries and snacks hot wheels everywhere lol but please you guys if you get to this review, Please, please, please have extra patience with Ms. Clarice Williams. Thanks again for the live entertainmentit was a good beginning to my afternoon °

My family had a great experience in this facility. We were under a tremendous amount of pressure to find a place for my mom after she had a stroke. This place was close to home and we didn’t have many choices because funds were limited. We walked in not knowing what to expect filled with stress and anxiety. What I found there was a family. They cared for my mom like she was their own. They are working very hard to make their facility a better place. I felt like they truly cared.

I have had nothing but good experiences so far with my grandmother being at this rehab. Everyone has been so kind every time we visit, and they take great care of her. She seems happy. A few days ago, we mentioned we were having a “pizza party” with her favorite pizza, and they went out of their way to reserve a party room for us, and made sure we had plenty of space. They fixed her hair, made her feel excited about going to “a party”, and it really meant a lot to us. Great place so far!

I'm surprised to see a 4.6 average as my mom has been in this facility for four years and in general we've been underwhelmed with conditions, activities (lack of both physical and mental stimulation have been one of our most frequent complaints), staffing and just about everything else. I've met many family members over the years who feel the same way. However, I would like to highlight two employees who have made the experience much more bearable, and are truly the type of individuals that all facilities should strive to hire more of. Jackie in the Arcadia unit, is always on top of my mom's care, makes sure she is clean, has attention and engages in preferred activities like reading, writing out words (to the extent Mom is still able) and singing. Jackie is often there on what is supposed to be her weekends off, filling in gaps in staffing, discussing Mom's accomplishments and issues with us, and doing her very best to give all the individuals there, what they need. I would also like to mention to Tonika in dietary, who has been a pleasure to interact with. In a facility where there are few food options, especially for anyone trying to eat healthy in general and especially vegetarian, Tonika has given her all to working with me and my siblings to provide discuss Mom's preferences and relay them to the kitchen staff. She has prepared meals like veggie stir fries, more Pb & J sandwiches which are one of Mom's favorites and a good protein source, and some things she has to special order. I can't express how much I appreciate both of these women for helping Mom have a more satisfying experience than she would otherwise.

Our transition to full nursing care was a difficult decision that was made by my Mom’s doctor, not the family. There were a lot of worries about the type of care, the food and other concerns. When Mom was transferred to Memory Care, the anxiety increased. But the staff made the transition easier, in fact, they made the change enjoyable! Jacqueline Williams has become like a daughter to my Mom and a sister to me. Her loving and consistent care has put the entire family at ease. She is now one of our family! She cares for Mom better than I could. Mom trusts her and so do I. The memory care staff is amazing! Eddie, Tracy and Daphne truly care for all the residents on the ward and know them all intimately. I am so grateful to the staff for their professionalism, care and true compassion. Thank you! I forgot to mention how much Mom enjoys the food! Overall, a clean and great place for my Mom!

One nurse was really nice and assisted us on heating the food for my aunt’s birthday. Another nurse came in with an attitude because we were still there at 9:00 pm. We were told visiting hours were 24/7 . My cousin came from North Carolina and was a bit late getting here. We told her we had talked to corporate and was told visiting hours were 24 /7 but we were getting ready to go. It was just the one. Everyone else came and wished my aunt a happy birthday. A man came in and collected the trash. As I said another lady had to look for a working microwave, but found one and let us heat up the food. All in all a nice visit with Julia Epps

There are a lot of really good people working at King Of Prussia Rehab. My experience has been a little up-and-down. For instance, it is very hard to get ahold of people and they often don't call back. Today, though, I talked to a nurse who was busy at the computer at her work station, and she stopped everything she was doing and answered all of my questions really thoroughly. When I arrived, the person who answered the door was extremely rude (she yelled at me in an unkind tone of voice about not realizing that she had "opened" the door--not physically, but by buzzing me in, although I didn't hear anything); but when I was leaving the person at the desk was super nice, a different person. But, rude people at the front desk aside, the people I encountered today, in particular the nurse who dropped everything and was extremely attentive, do clearly care a lot. I was very appreciative, and I suspect that there is a serious staffing problem that results in a lot of "temps," who come and go and who are less devoted than the regular staff. I've met social workers and many nurses who seem both efficient and kind, and I believe they all do what they can, but are understaffed and simply can't return all the phone calls they must get non-stop, while also caring for their patients; I believe they have their priorities right--prioritizing patient care when there's too much to do and not enough time to do it all.

This is the best rehab i have visited by far. My father has a new pacemaker and required rehab. Since day one, every person regardless of if they are a nurse or the person at the front desk are delightful and kind. My father was apprehensive about being in rehab, meeting Malik, Aruna and Felicia reassured both my dad and me, we both knew he was in a good and caring place. Every person he has interacted with since has been wonderful. Not only have they been helping him heal physically, they’ve also been helping him to heal emotionally by encouraging him to make friends with other patients and including him in various activities. He’s actually enjoying himself a little bit. He still looks forward to coming home to his cats, but he’s happy and upbeat. I cannot thank every one enough.

I knew this facility had bad reviews previously and I didn’t want my mom to go there. Today was only her first day. She had several people come in, the activities director, speech therapist and physical therapist to meet with her. I mentioned her behind was a little sore and the nurse and assistant came in rather quickly to check her. I can’t give a lot of feedback with it only being her first day but i feel good about it so far.

My father is there now. He has had the same shirt on for 3 days, and we the family had to change it. My sister marked his brief at night before leaving, and the next morning he was covered in old diarrhea in the same brief! No one changed him all night, and his buttocks is now bleeding like raw hamburger meat, that is how it looks. Everytime he asks for help, they answer the bell and say, "we will be right back" than never come back. I have personally seen this when I was there and requested his coffee, that we bought, not from the facility. 2 hours later no coffee, I offered to heat it up myself they wouldn't let me. Then, 2 hours later I go out of his room to adj again, and guess what? They changed shifts, that nurse left and never even told the next nurse. The CNA that was working this past Friday into Saturday night sais she was sorry that she did not take care of are father that she has. "27 patients to her self, and that is was not possible! Wow. I am call the state and a lawyer! This is not right to get paid and estimated 6000.00 in Medicare funds per month and neglect patients. Now, my father is completely with it, and can tell us everything. But, for anyone with confused family members, I am sure it is worse. The only reason I have 2 stars is because he had his own room, and it is clean most of the time. Additionally, we found a chair and pillow in his bathroom, and thought; great they washed him up at the sink? We'll, nope, turns out the CNA was sleeping in there on the night shift, never washed

The nursing staff, aides, therapists, and front desk staff here were excellent. A member of my family stayed at KoP Rehab for a little over a month. He has intellectual disabilities and issues with communication. They were extremely patient and thoughtful with my family member. They went above and beyond to communicate and motivate him in his recovery. I am not local, so I depended on communication with them to get updates and get him what he needed. Their kindness, attention, and dedication made it a good experience for him. High marks for the staff at KoP Rehab!! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of some confusion about his diet, and what he needed with the broken jaw. The facility would benefit from some upgrades, but the basics are there. I hope the owner will invest some attention into the dietary aspects and the building, and then it will be 5 stars.
