Mom has been very happy living at RPI since 2023. They take great care of her, and as she puts it, "just the right amount". She chose The Residences at Presque Isle Bay for many factors, the biggest being the proximity to the Lake Erie Bay as she loves the water as she always wanted to live near the water. She also enjoys the plentiful large windows and the sunlight that streams in. Including a photo of me and one of my sisters with mom at the PRI gazebo. I am grateful that she is so happy and well cared for.

My mother has been a resident at RPI for roughly eight months. I came into this experience at RPI with some reluctance and hesitation after my mom went through a negative experience at a previous assisted living facility in Erie. My first experience at the Residence at Presque Isle was with Linsley, The Community Relations Director at RPI. Upon my first conversation with her, I was impressed with her professionalism. She brought a sense of calm reassurance into the process , took time to answer questions, and listened to any concerns I may have had. Since that time she has been exceptionally attentive and responsive, addressing concerns efficiently and effectively and consistently following through. This has been my overall experience with many of the nurse, aides and other staff members caring for my mom. From the beginning, the staff at RPI has shown compassion, patience, and respect for my mom as a person not just as a client. I am regularly involved in my mom’s care and frequently present on site at the facility. As such, I have had many opportunities to observe the consistency, professionalism, and kindness with which my mother is treated first hand. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The view of the lake from many resident rooms and common areas is breathtaking. I am deeply grateful to the entire staff at RPI for their dedication, compassion and responsiveness to any questions or concerns I have had. This facility has made a very difficult time in our lives a little more manageable and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one.

The Residence at Presque Isle is a beautiful place to be. The caring and compassionate staff in memory care have been wonderful and welcoming to my father. I am a RN with a masters degree and am extremely impressed having visited a number of places in my lifetime. They engage him various activities and help him with personal care everything from bathing to clothing. This is not as easy as it looks even though my father is helpful and not adverse to it. The room itself overlooks the bay and is well furnished and the housekeeping staff is awesome. The managers are up front about what they are licensed to do which is very important if they need more assistance. For example, they can do two person lifts which in some places are licensed to only do only one person lifts. They do everything but IV therapy, trachea care, vents which some of it you would have home health anyway (visiting nurses) take care of. They have a license nurse on the floor and with only 18 residences. They are extremely responsive to my questions and provide accurate answers. Also, I have dealt with private duty care which is not always the answer if your parent is more active and wants to remain social.

We looked at several places before deciding on The Residence at Presque Isle Bay. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They answer our questions and have always been very accommodating with any thing we ask for help with. Lindsey has especially been helpful with us applying to our long term insurance. Our loved one really is settling in and likes the facility and says she has never had a bad meal. I cannot thank everyone who works there enough for their love and compassion they show to all the residents.

When canvassing the Erie area to find a place to assist my aging mother, who needed some extra help she did not want to accept from family, I reached out to numerous facilities. Our concern was that by insisting on living alone, my mother was becoming a shut-in. I wanted to find a place where she could retain the independence she could manage in a safe environment. From my first interaction with The Residence at Presque Isle Bay, I knew this was the place for my mother. Linsley is positive, informative, and very responsive. She was understanding of my apprehension and patiently addressed all my concerns. Linsley put together an individualized plan to meet my mother’s needs. When Mom moved in, we noticed her immediate relief. The tasks she had fought to hold on to were being handled by friendly staff. She loves the dining options and the food quality. She often remarks on the generous portions and variety of choices. She is attending most of the plentiful activities they offer. She has made friends she enjoys visiting with daily. The facility is clean and well-maintained. My mother can be very exacting, and the maintenance gentleman has gone above and beyond in addressing my mother’s anomalous requests. Lastly, the staff is well-trained to respond in an emergency. Their response to a triggered alarm was spot-on. I work in the building/construction safety industry and was impressed. This question cannot be answered until you see it in real time. Your loved one can enjoy all the amenities at The Residence at Presque Isle Bay, but are they safe? The answer is a resounding "yes." Linsley remarked during our preliminary conversations that many notice improvement when moving to The Residence at Presque Isle Bay. She was correct. My mother is now on a regular sleep schedule, eating regular meals, taking her medications on time, and engaging in more social interactions. These also provide her with physical activity. With gratitude, I can attest that this went from a harrowing task to the best decision I made for my mother.

My mother moved into the Residence in October 2025, although I had been in contact work them much earlier than that. Everyone I dealt with was very patient, professional and a pleasure to deal with. My mom had been very reluctant about moving in but recent health issues finally forced her to consider. Within a week she has told me she loves it there and glad she did move. She loves the food and the activities. They have a great view of the bay which was a selling point for my mom. I had looked at other places in Erie and I am convinced the Residence is the best option in the area. Knowing mom is being well taken care of is a relief to our family.

Unquestionably, they cared about my father's well being. The administrators were always available to take my phone calls and answer any questions I had. Before I moved here, my expectations were good but since I've moved in and spent 7 or 8 months here, my expectations have been far exceeded. Everything is terrific. The staff are more than pleasant, polite, and knowledgeable. The facility is orderly, peaceful, and a lot of activities for people my age are offered. My favorites are trivia, bingo, and happy hour. The only thing I'd change is adding burritos and bourbon to the dinner menu. I highly recommend the Residence At Presque Isle Bay.

My mother was not happy at her last place. As I no longer live in Erie my cousin found the Residences at Presque Isle. .y family could not be happier. Tgey made tge transition for her easy and have been very responsive to any questions we might have. Linsley us one of the most gracious and professional people we have ever dealt with. The caregivers are attentive and compassionate. The residents are friendly and easy to get along with. The food is delicious and there’s so many options. Management is easy to talk to, always available, and they quickly address all questions. We have activities throughout the entire day which keeps us busy. We always have live entertainment and the quality is great. It’s bright, beautiful, and we have the best views around. Last summer I spent several weeks here in respite care. I couldn't have asked for kinder, more helpful staff members. They worked hard to make the residents feel comfortable and treated them with respect. The facility was beautiful and comfortable. A variety of activities was available for residents to enjoy when they chose to participate. From the very beginning of my stay, every staff member knew my name and made me feel welcome.

Lies and Avoidance. I’m not sure where they find these people, but we are growing tired of it. I give credit of two stars because of a few care givers, but this place has really gone down hill over the past year or so. The young administrator has zero experience and it shows-he is fake and not genuine, and most of the time doesn’t respond. Want what’s promised by the admissions girl? Don’t hold your breath. There’s a spa room Sure is, but she doesn’t tell you it doesn’t work. She will tell you they go on outings, but there’s no bus to get them anywhere. She will tell you whatever you want to hear. Over the past year the turn over in other managers really speaks volumes- the food has changed to what looks prepackaged, and my family member has complained that even a bowl of cereal takes an hour to receive. The activities director left, and with her left excitement- she was everywhere all the time! We miss the fun surprises and genuine warmth she offered, now there is so much quiet in the building-it’s sad. One of the biggest losses was the lead nurse director- there wasn’t a time we couldn’t ask for answers and get them pretty quickly- now there is no leadership, the care aides are constantly sitting around and when you do see them they smell like weed. It just really makes you wonder what’s going on with everyone leaving (of course the administrator won’t give a straight answer, and he certainly doesn’t take ownership for any of it). I feel terrible for the people in the dementia unit- I heard about a resident eating from the garbage even! Who’s watching these people?! We are definitely wanting to move, but the friendships that my loved one has made amongst the other patients is the only thing keeping us there at this point. A few patients have been moving out, and honestly I’m not sure how much longer friendship will be enough to keep us there especially at these rising costs. Ugh, I feel like I could go on and on!

I want to give a shout out to Brevellier Village, Ball Pavillion Nursing Home. As some of you know my mom has been through a lot the past 6 months at the age of 90, soon to be 91. She broke her arm and we were dealing with that at home. She went to rehab due to left leg pain. Fell at rehab and broke her hip. Fall increased her dementia due to impact and subsequent anesthesia for surgery. She is now long term at BV. They are the kindest, most respectful and caring people. They listen and follow thru. They care for her in all ways. She looks good and is healthy. My advice is push for that placement. Don't listen when told there are no openings by hospital staff. Call yourself. We are very blessed to have her there. And I can't tell you how relieved I am. Always praise those who are working in these settings. It isn't easy.

After researching several assisted living facilities, our family selected The Residence at Presque Isle to help care for Dad. The facility location is beautiful, the interior clean and welcoming and Dad loves the food! Both caregiving and support staff have treated Dad with respect and dignity, and our family takes great comfort in knowing that Dad is well cared for and safe each day; the wrist watch call button/safety alert device is excellent. Dad's needs increased early during his stay, and the leadership and caregiving staff worked diligently to understand Dad's changing needs. Communication with the staff has been encouraged and ongoing, seeking to understand and meet Dad's needs; it has felt like a genuine partnership. The Community Relations Director, Linsley Wybiral, was our first point of contact when we were assessing which facility would be right for Dad, and her genuine caring about Dad is a great example of how we feel about Dad's experience as a resident.

In August 2023, my dad's Parkinsons Disease progressed to the point that he was unable to stay at home anymore. The Residence has done a nice job making him feel welcome and attending to his needs. Alyssa, their on-site RN, has done a particularly good job helping dad with medical and personal care issues. The administration has done a good job addressing concerns as they arise. If you are looking for assisted living options, I highly recommend you check out The Residence.

My sister is living at The Residence at Presque Isle Bay. The staff is very friendly and caring. Extremely clean. Good food. Everytime I go there they are doing activities. We needed to get my sister in in a hurry and Lindsley and Nathan helped and basically got her in within a few days! It has been a huge relief for me to know that my sister is being cared for. And in such a beautiful place!

We looked at a lot of places for our father. Even though he had STM issues, we wanted some where he could have the freedom to walk outside and that took an interest in him. We found that here. He has the comfort, friendship, activity and supervision we were hoping for. He took a turn for the worst last summer and we all prepared for the end. If not for the excellent care of the nursing staff, support of administration and everyone’s prayer's, I know that my father would not be up walking today. My family wants to Thank them for everything. I don’t think you can find a better staff or facility in the Erie area.

I have been impressed with the welcoming to all who come to the Residence. Whether family living there as their home or family coming to visit. The care I have seen for our Mom and Dad has been personal, engaging, and respectful. The activities are thoughtful, interactive, and collaborative as well as individually based. There is always invitation and choice to attend, rather than an expectation to come. This makes a difference in how the activities are received, I have observed. I have been very impressed thus far with having our family members discover and find there home, here.

IntegraCare has made many of their promised improvements since acquiring The Residence at Presque Isle. The staffing, cleanliness, and meal service are greatly improved. Most resident Aids are kind and caring and genuinely seem as though they want to be there. Alyssa is excellent, always following up on every concern. Linsley, Alli, Ricardo, and Mike from Maintenance also deserve recognition for making The Residence a great place for the care of your loved one.

I stopped here on a whim to get some information. They (Alli) welcomed me and said they could show me around right then. I brought my Mom in from the car we met with Lynsley, she offered Mom lunch, we had just finished a Drs appointment and hadn't had lunch yet. I mention all this because the staff were not expecting us, they were very friendly and I know it wasn't staged. Mom has been very happy and so have I. They are very caring and respond quickly when needed. Alyssa and the nursing staff care about all the residence whole heartedly. They love their jobs and it shows. Very clean and well kept, with good entertainment. I would highly recommend checking them out if you have a loved one in need of the care they offer.

The Residence at Presque Isle Bay has super exceeded both my mom’s and mine expectations. The staff (all staff) went above and beyond making my mom feel welcomed, comfortable and safe! In fact, when my mom had a recent short hospitalization, she commented that she was happy to be home when she returned to the Residence. This is after only a 5 week stay. We have been blessed.

We just moved my dad into his apartment in the memory care unit of The Residence last month. I cannot even describe the peace we have knowing how well he is being cared for daily. From the moment we toured we knew this was the right decision. The staff is incredibly patient and kind. It is difficult to make this transition and release caregiving to a stranger, but we don’t feel that way! These people are like family to us now. It’s truly an answer to our prayers!

I cannot believe the transformation that has taken place at this facility. Since the new owners have taken over this past spring of 2022, the entire place has been renovated from the roof down. It is clean again and well groomed. Best of all is the staff that has been hired. Professional, kind and caring. I cannot express it any better than one BIG THANK YOU! An incredible metamorphosis!
