I was there for 3 years, never had a complaint, The staff was there to help you. Some would go out of there way to help their patients.loved the food compared to what I have now. The activity are nothing . Well l must say this is the place I could of stayed for the longer it would be the place I could stayed till I passed. Our family had a wonderful experience with this assisted living community when my mother-in-law stayed for 7 days while we were out of town. From the very beginning, the director, Keilah, made us feel at ease. She was incredibly kind and caring, and it was clear how much she values both the residents and the staff. She greeted employees and residents by name, made eye contact, and treated everyone with genuine respect. That kind of leadership creates a warm, welcoming environment. The staff were just as wonderful. They always greeted my mother-in-law and our family with a smile and made her feel comfortable and included. Before her stay, the leadership invited us to a resident picnic so she could become familiar with everyone and the community. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and helped ease any anxiety she had. The facility is very neat, clean, and well-maintained, and it's obvious they put a lot of effort into keeping residents active and engaged with a variety of activities. Knowing my mother-in-law was in such a caring, compassionate place gave our family tremendous peace of mind while we were away. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for quality, compassionate care. When the time comes to put her in assisted living, we will be coming to Amoroso.

This is my second review of amoroso. Once again, they have gone above and beyond what I was hoping for. They are allowing me to have a small party in a private room for my 90 year old mother who can't leave the facility anymore.I spoke with Jess and she was very helpful and agreeable to my request. Jess has been a godsend my mother fell in the parking lot and she went and helped pick her up which was no easy feat. I really feel like the staff goes above and beyond to help with anything that we need thank you so very much Jess I always feel like I made a good decision with you with you handling my mother's Care thank you so very much

I stayed at Amoroso for 3.5 months. I required minimal assistance at night which did not occur on a consistent basis. 3rd shift continually ignored me, yelled at me, let me lay in bed, dropped me, and hurt me. I had someone crawl in my bed while in the restroom. the manager lied to me about changes. I was very depressed and thankfully left. if you do not need any assistance, this place is a good low cost.

The first shift aids are very good. 3rd shift is horrific. if your loved one needs assistance overnight or weekends, go ELSEWHERE. the director does not care to improve anything. My mother was left to lie for hours without response to the call bell. She was dropped and another patron crawled into her bed! no response from the facility and no follow up.

My wife stayed while rehabing from a severe leg & arm injury sustained in a fall at home. As I had issues of my own, I could not provide the care she needed during her rehab. Nyomi Paine and the staff at Amoroso were absolutely wonderful. My wife felt safe. She was comfortable in the Amoroso environment and received the care she needed in a courteous and professional manner. Her room was always clean. Her meals were nourishing and tasty. She was treated with dignity and respect, and the staff was responsive to her needs and requests. I would not hesitate to recommend Amoroso Wellness Center of York to anyone.

After searching many facilities we found Amoroso to be a perfect fit for our mother. The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly and professional, the cost was within our budget. Once our mother became a resident who needed skilled care, we found all of our expectations met. We highly recommend Amoroso for your family members.

The minute I walked into Amoroso I felt a sense of calmness, light and a cheery homey feeling. I knew it was the right place for my ailing husband and after only a week he calls his apartment his new home. The staff is wonderful and the food outstanding. I toured many other places that left me in tears because of the dreariness of them all. Amoroso has exceeded my expectations in all ways and tomorrow we are celebrating my husband's 85 th birthday with friends coming over for dinner. Thank you Amoroso staff for making my life less complicated and his life more fulfilling.

My mother entered Amoroso in January and it has been a wonderful experience. It was a bright atmosphere, the rooms are large, the care was outstanding and nurses checked on her regularly, absolutely no complaints and would recommend this place highly and I do at every opportunity since there are so many people looking for care for family members. You could not beat the cost compared to other facilities which was another plus.
