The Landing of Collegeville – Reviews
I visited The Landing while looking for a place for my dad. It is the only senior community I saw in Montgomery county PA that had activities to engage creativity, physical activity and mindfulness. Most places have crafts, bingo and trivia games. The Landings has the type of activities you’d see in a college adult education program. The place is clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and so helpful. If you are looking for a place to keep your parents active and sharp, this is the place.
We moved our father to The Landing of Collegeville after he spent about nine disappointing months in another nearby facility - what a huge difference! The staff is amazing, communication is excellent, and the activities and programming are exactly what he needed to start enjoying his life again. Dad looks forward to their frequent outings, and he enjoys all of the activities they offer. Take a look at their Facebook page - you can see how much they do for their residents and how engaged the staff are. Assisted living is definitely an adjustment, but The Landing of Collegeville has brought back the spark in dad's eyes. We are all made to feel as if we are a part of their extended family.
My mother has been at The Landing of Collegeville for over 2 years. The volume and quality of daily activities and the hardworking dedicated staff- Mom is extremely happy as are we!
My siblings and I visited eight retirement living communities in the outer King of Prussia area and narrowed down the visits with Mom to the top four and then revisited with Mom the top two. We choose the Landing in Collegeville because of the number of activities and the enthusiasm of the activities staff as well as Audrey the community advisor and Monica the facilities manager, who helped us with questions and concerns every step of the way then and now.
My sister and I visited six assisted living facilities in the Collegeville and South Jersey areas. After narrowing down to two, we decided on The Landing for our mom. We met in person a few times with Audrey, the sales director at The Landing, and also had many phone conversations and exchanged many emails. Audrey was very helpful in showing us different apartments at different price ranges, working within our financial constraints, explaining the levels of care, and pointing out all the activities and amenities at The Landing. In the end, we moved our mom in this past August. Any change for someone that age is stressful, but the staff, especially Audrey, Monica, Stephanie, and Madison, have made a concerted effort to make the change as seamless as possible for our mom. At age 98 it's not easy to adapt to a new environment and make new friends - and remember their names - but mom seems to be adapting. And we know she's availing herself of all the activities because she's rarely in her room when we call.
I just want to say that the Landing of Collegeville and their staff have been so wonderful. They helped me every step of the way determining what was the best way to bring my mom to live there. It was a very difficult and emotional time and they made it so much easier. My mom has been in her wonderful apartment now for a month. Every person that we have come in contact with has been so wonderful. My mom is actually doing much better since joining the Landing family. I would recommend them to anyone looking to find a wonderful place for a family member in need of a little help.
I had a wonderful experience placing my mom at the Landing of Collegeville. Julie, Carrie and all the staff welcomed us and made moms transition very easy and stress free. Mom has a wonderful new home and I feel like like I have been welcomed into a new family.
I took a tour of The Landing recently, looking for a care facility for my mother. I was really impressed with The Landing. The staff was warm and friendly, and the facility is beautiful. I particularly liked the areas for socialization. There were spacious lounges and activity areas on both floors, which included fireplaces and beverage areas. There is also a small movie theater with comfy chairs and a large screen tv. There were also two large outdoor seating areas which were nice. They provide restaurant style dining, and the food is exceptional. In addition to the usual things, prime rib and lobster ravioli are sometimes on the menu. The Activites calendar is extensive. Almost every day there is some sort of social hour-a happy hour, a tea, a cookie social. In addition, there is musical entertainment weekly, and they have themed parties and dances. In addition, there are medical facilities close by. Main Line Health has a complex just across the street that provides many routine services such as X-rays and dexascans. There is also an Urgent Care that shares the same parking lot as The Landing. The staff is the high point though. They are very warm and welcoming. Also, the pricing is reasonable. If you are seriously looking, I would highly recommend you at least take a look at The Landing.
It's always a challenge to decide to make that move from home to a facility where your loved one is unfamiliar. The staff here at the Landing are completely understanding and helpful. They helped make the transition for our loved one as seamless as possible. Our loved one is now enjoying life more, and this has been a blessing for all of us.

What a cheery open and so new facility!! loved the tour and they have not missed anything needed to make our love ones comfortable. I love the fact that they can eat at anytime 7 to 7 on any given day. This allows you to choose how many meals and the time. That is truly a big plus when you are not able to just walk into a kitchen and prepare the meal. I like that they have many options for going to doctor visits and they are all covered by the Landings. That way I am able to make my visits to visit and not to have to drive them to where they may need to go. This was the first facility that everyone was in the gathering area listening to a musician and actively participating. That seems to be a big goal of Landings.
Awesome place at peace with my mother being there.
We were the first in and it is great friendly staff wonderful meals every need is met. Our 12 yr old Great Dane is here too and is treated even better than we are treated which is hard to do. Do yourself a favor and check this home out
