Sue was very helpful with the application process. I felt she went above and beyond her job description to accommodate with this situation. My brother seems to be happy with the facility. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I visited him and was impressed with the people and the facility. He likes the freedom of using the transportation system that is set up for the residents.

I highly recommend Clarks Summit Senior Living to anyone in need of a senior facility. The staff is amazing and do care about doing a great job. Sue made sure everything we needed was taken care of by the staff. They have transportation for the residents and the activities available are incredible. If you or a loved one need this type of facility, this is the place you want to be. I actually can not express how wonderful this facility was and how well they took care of my loved one.

My mom has been there for more than a year. We were unsure of what to expect when i showed up unannounced and asked for a tour. It was the best stop i made. The people who work there truly care so much about the residents and their families. They are so kind, patient and understanding. The place is spotless and the rooms are spacious. The food is very good and there are plenty of activities and things to do for the people who live there. The care my mom has received is outstanding. We always feel welcome when we visit. The workers keep us posted on her care and its outstanding value for the money. Don't hesitate to put your loved on in their hands.

Choosing a new place to call home for a loved one is never easy. My hope is that someone right now is reading this review and will feel more at ease in making that decision. In 2008 my mom was a resident at Clarks Summit Senior living (it's former name then was New seasons). Although her stay was short, for eight months she received the finest care from the kindest people. Last Summer we faced that decision again in choosing a new place to call home for my mother-in-law. There wasn't any hesitation in that decision because we knew the best place for her in our area was Clarks Summit Senior living. My mother-in-law loved it from the moment we walked through the door. Sue Chapin, the admissions director greeted us and we quickly realized she had been there in that position while my mom was there in 2008. It once again felt like family. Sue helped us get through the admissions process, and it happened quickly! (She's the best) My mother-in-law enjoys all the delicious meals, gets involved in some of the many activities like music therapy, fun exercising, Bible reading/teaching & prayer time. There's also live entertainment & the on-site beauty Salon gives her the independence to care for herself. Weather permitting, the grounds are beautiful & perfect for walking & she truly enjoys that time! On Sunday mornings there is transportation to church which is such a blessing! They also offer (free of charge) transportation to doctor visits & shopping trips. This facility has just been fully remodeled and is just beautiful. We are thankful for all the staff at Clarks Summit Senior living, thank you for all you do. ’•

A dear friend recently moved into CSSL after several residential transitions. In just one week they have gone out of their way to make him feel at home. He has a lovely home, and a busy schedule of recreational activities at his disposal. The choice to participate or not is his to make. He enjoys meals in the dining room, and is grateful to the dietary staff for helping him with menu selections. The nursing staff manages his medications for him. During his tour of the facility, we mentioned I passing that my friend enjoyed the ballet. Imagine how impressed we were on move in day to see that he was gifted (by the facility) a lovely painting from a popular ballet! Thank you to everyone at CSSL for helping my friend to feel at home.

Ten weeks ago my mom moved into CSSL, she was happy to find home where she could feel safe and comfortable, she had a wonderful room mate Jackie, whom she had a nice relationship with.Her aid Haley always gave her extra special care . And referred to her as Aunt Mary, so sweet and kind. We lost mom last week just a week shy of her 92 nd birthday. We are comforted knowing that her last weeks of life were fulfilled by people that cared about her.

Two years ago we moved our 96 year old father into CSSL. He was a little reluctant at first but when he saw the facilities and met the friendly staff he knew he had found his final home. We lost him last week but feel so incredibly lucky to have given him the gift of the experience at CSSL. The staff are caring, medical team is on top of their game and the rooms and facilities are top notch. They have a beautiful front porch where our father sat on nice days and a walking path for fresh air and exercise. My dad was a resident of CSSL for a very short time. He did not have the opportunity to enjoy the activities that the facility offered. His poor declining status due to a lengthy illness kept the nursing staff and personal care givers busy with his care. I was unsure if we should keep him there because of his poor health issues becoming worse. The nursing staff and dietary department went above and beyond to care for him and make him comfortable. They were a bright light during a very difficult time for our family. There are no words to describe what a positive impact they made on of lives. They were professional angels with the upmost respect caring for him in his final resting place. Their care and kindness did not go unnoticed. I am grateful for that. Sincerely from my heart, Joyce.

Our mother has been a resident of CSSL for over fours years and she could not be happier. The staff is wonderful and my sister and I consider them family. Our mother loves the friends she has made and all of the activities that are available throughout the day, seven days a week. She also loves the food and the ability to socialize in the Tavern and spacious lobby. The facility team keep the place in top shape. As well, the staff has done an incredible job at keeping Covid-19 from entering the community. My sister and I sleep better knowing that our mother is a resident at CSSL.

What a phenomenal community. The place for starters is beautiful from the moment you walk in. The apartments are spacious and affordable. But, most importantly the staff is so kind and caring. This is a great place to work, visit, and live.

My mom has been a resident for a year there. She loved the place as soon a she got settled. The staff is fantastic and management pays attention to concerns. The past few months have been challenging to say the least but they have remained Covid free for residents. They acted fast and diligent following all guidelines and then some. We as a family and my mom are very pleased and can’t wait to hug my mom.

I recently visited a friend here and found the place to be very nice. The facility was beautifully decorated and clean. The residents seem happy and energetic. What I loved most was how happy my friend has been since she moved in to this facility. She has made so much progress in becoming social with her peers as well as eating right. Kudos to this place!

My father has been a resident for about a month now and I couldn't ask for a better place for him. The staff is professional, kind, and caring. It is bright and cheerful inside and out. There is always something going on for him to enjoy, but if you ask him what his favorite thing is he will tell you it's the food!!! It's fresh, restaurant style, and made to order. They don't cut any corners here, this is the best the Northeast has to offer!!!!

I am extremely surprised at the quality of the food at Clarks Summit Senior Living. The french onion and the lobster bisque soup are delicious as are all the soups. The menu changes daily and the selections are wonderful . My husband is a resident and I dine there with him regularly. I have never been disappointed. Great staff !

My father-in-law moved here recently, and the upgrade from his previous Senior Center to Clarks Summit Senior Living is quite apparent. Beautiful facility, always impeccably maintained, and the staff is always very accommodating to my father-in-law as well as the rest of our family when we come to visit. Recommend highly!

We have had just an excellent experience with CSSL. The dedication of the staff is outstanding. They truly care about the residents and are so attentive to their needs. We visited many assisted living facilities in the area and it was hands down when we walked through the door into the lobby and toured the facility at CSSL. I would highly recommend anyone looking to place a family member in assisted living this definitely deserves five stars.

Both of my parents moved in to CSSL about a month ago after being hospitalized and then going to rehab for a few weeks. I really cannot express how pleased I am with the facility and staff. My mom and dad love all of the activities and it is nice that they offer activities for different levels too. My dad likes that there is always someone around to talk to and that they are meeting new people. They have been welcomed by the staff and residents and made to feel comfortable in their new home. For me, it is nice not to have to worry about them as much since I know that if they need anything that someone is nearby to take care of their needs.
