It is truly a gift to be part of the special Abington Manor team, working so closely with all the wonderful residents and families in this warm environment that I think of as a second home! The staff I am privileged to work with are some of the best in the healthcare profession, as caring as they are competent. I can't say enough about them and their kind, caring ways and highest professional standards. I have witnessed respect for the individual in a way that exceeds expectations. Abington Manor has become part of my heart and I am beyond grateful! <3

My mom has been a resident at Abington Manor for 5 years now. The staff treat her with care, dignity, respect, and love as if she was a member of their family. They go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The dedication of the staff is amazing, especially during this pandemic. My mind is at ease knowing she is receiving such wonderful care.

Very nice work environment. Management kept us free from Covid-19 for the longest time, being one of the only residences in the area to have absolutely no Covid in the building throughout the bulk of the pandemic. Also, Staff and management care for the residents as if they were their own family.

The staff truly cares about their residents. My mother was a resident there a year ago until her passing at age 90. When my dad recently needed long term care I chose Abington Manor because of the good care that my mother received. I feel comfortable with my dad being a resident there.

My mom has been a resident of Abington Manor for about two years. She has always been treated with love, respect, and dignity. The staff has also been responsive to my needs as her primary caregiver. Of special note, Abington Manor is the only facility I know in the area with no in house residents testing positive for Covid-19. Abington Manor has performed beyond my expectations.

I could not ask for a better placement for my mother. She is a long time resident. She arrived at the facility extremely weak and not being able to eat. The staff took an excellent care of her and to my surprise she was able to recover to a comfortable level, including walking with support. The Covid -19 pandemic is handled excellently, too. Every week there is Zoom conference about current situation and families can asked question and express their concern. Beyond that, channels of communication are always open. The facility could use some updating, but in my eyes this is secondary, as long as residents feel at home there.

Everyone there is wonderful! We had to place 85 yr old mother in law in a hurry they made it easy comforting! The women in the office made all the paperwork easy were very accommodating to our needs. She was there almost 2 years from the beginning to the end of her life she had the most amazing people caring for her. We cant say enuf how marvelous everyone was the compassion that was showed to her us. I would highly reccomend this facility for the loved ones who are unable to stay in their own home or can no longer be cared for by family.

Faced with the reality of needing help to care for my aging mother, I turned to Abington Manor for care. She has been in this facility for almost two years and has received consistent, quality care, each and every day. The entire staff, including, nurses, aides, activities, therapies, human resources, cleaning and food services work together as a team to meet my mothers needs. I am thankful for such a wonderful facility in Clarks Summit.
