I've worked for Providence place a years and seven month. I've made many good relationships with residents and co workers. This job have been the best one I had. I love this place so much and I have nothing to complain about this place. You definitely need to bring your love ones here.

It's a decent place to work at temporarily until you have something better lined up. The management and Human Resources don't handle situations properly. They continue to let unprofessional employees do what they want. It's quite common in this field of work and I've worked it for quite a while now. It doesn't pay enough at all!

First off they had their staff write a bunch of these positive reviews. This place is dangerous because they are so good at making it look "so good". This place is not what it seems it's short staffed and residents are neglected. The memory care unit is full. There are often residents who need more memory care sitting alone in random places throughout the building confused and lost and dirty it's truly heartbreaking . Upper management doesn't hold management responsible for their team and backs up their managers no matter what even if they are wrong. It's a mean girls club if you're in your in if not good luck. Upper management is condescending and belittling to staff who raise concerns. I deeply regret sending my mother here.

Mom moved in 5 months ago. Alyssa Foor and the staff did an outstanding job facilitating her on boarding. Professional, personable and capable personnel operate the Chambersburg facility. Mom loves it and the family is very pleased with the entire program. We have recommended Providence Place to several others.

Mother only resided at Providence Place in Chambersburg for 8 short weeks. During those weeks, she was treated like a queen (her own words). The facility was always clean, fresh and well maintained. The staff, though sparse at times, were considerate, compassionate and well trained. Food was adequate with a lot of variety and individual selections if needed. The dietary staff was outstanding in their concern that she was not eating and went out of their way to try to offer something she liked. The receptionist area was always very welcoming and all three of the receptionists were outstanding. The studio apartment was spacious and had more than enough storage space. The provided furnishings were first class. One downfall was lack of communication with nursing staff and the onsite physician assistant and physician. I still give the facility and care staff and housekeeping and dietary staff a five star rating.

I've worked for Providence place 11 years I've made many good relationships with residents and co workers. All the residents are appreciative of the help they receive. I personally work in nursing and while the 12 hour shifts seem long I enjoy my weekdays off and my 3 day weekends every other week.

I just want to thank all those involved here from Mr Leader to the workers here at chambersburg. My life here began 5 years ago and ALL the staff have been the kindest and and most helpful. They got us through Covid with extra work. and there is always a smile on their. face. they are ready to do what they can to make it home here. I personally have grown here and came out of my shell and gotten involved with activities. I can honestly say that I feel that this is my home. THANK UOU TO ALL INVOLVED HERE ST CHAMBERSBURG

I have worked at providence place for a year now and I can honestly say I love it there. I actually enjoy and look forward to going to work everyday. The residents are amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and always has a smile on their face. You truly feel like your part of the family.

The nursing staff and the aids are very nice to my Mom. Only complaint is my moms hair looks greasy quite often not sure how often she showers and a lot of times she doesn't have her own clothes on flood pants etc that I know are not hers.

I can't say enough positive things about the staff at Providence Place Chambersburg. Amber and Katie spent hours working with our family as we considered placement for our family member. They were accessible during non-business hours and were knowledgeable and caring. They were helpful advocates as we worked with the hospital over several days. The thing that I appreciated the most was the reaction of all staff members when, after signing and starting the move-in process, we received news of a sudden opening at another facility that we felt was a slightly better fit for our family member. They remained 100% supportive and understanding, and volunteered to fax all needed information to the other facility for us. They also didn't charge us a penny. I wholeheartedly recommend Providence Place, especially their memory care unit. If your family member is physically healthy but in moderate dementia, their unit is much more like home than a skilled care facility.

Highly recommended for the elderly and always welcoming to family visitors including meal times. The staff is outstanding. They can care folks with dementia. One huge benefit over many other elderly care and retirement living is the Chambersburg location has regular Christian church services with outstanding pastoral care!
