When it became clear that my mom could no longer live at home following a rehab stay, we needed to move her quickly as we live abroad. Christina and the team at New Seasons were extremely reactive and accommodating and we were able to get my mom settled before flying out. From our first visit, we were impressed by the professional and positive attitude of the director and her team. In fact, everyone we met- both staff and residents - were pleasant and helpful. The food is really good (nice homemade soups!) and there is always a set menu to choose from if the daily specials don't appeal. We ate there twice with my mom. Her waitress is incredibly friendly and sociable. We have been able to do a video call with my mom. This was Christina's suggestion and I thought it would be great if it happened. David, the activities director, came to meet us and made it happen. My mom was thrilled and couldn't stop talking about it. I have to say that my interactions with the staff (receptionists, nurses, aids and therapists) both on the phone and in person have been positive. But perhaps the most telling sign is how my mom seems to me. Moving to New Seasons has been a huge change for her. Yet, after nearly a month, I can tell she feels comfortable and is not afraid to ask for help. Thank you to the entire team!

My 89-year old mother arrived at New Seasons a little less than a year ago. She had been living alone (with her cat) and had many of us fooled thinking she had been capable of caring for herself. After a severe illness and a broken hip from a fall, we were lucky enough to find New Seasons at New Britain. There was never a question of where we wanted her to be - New Seasons is always clean, her room is relatively spacious, the staff are kind, friendly, and competent, and the food is very good. Frank is fantastic and New Seasons is lucky to have him as the "face" of the business. He knows me, always stops to chat when we see each other, and is friendly with everyone he sees.

My father (84 years old) came to live here after suffering a heart attack from which he has now fully recovered. He was previously living in a 3rd story apartment which was not feasible for his heart condition. It was a big change which he handled gracefully. It took us a while to find the right fit for him. Some places want hundreds of thousands of dollars upfront. It all seemed like a big commitment at a time in which we were beyond stressed in caring for him post surgery. New Seasons was the right move. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They were excellent at explaining the nature of their business model. He's now a full time resident and he loves it. He feels very taken care of. He has the freedom to leave and go where he pleases. His medication is managed and his overall condition has improved ten fold. He's been there for about 8 months now. I'd been expecting some kind of miscellaneous charge, or fee or some other shoe to drop in terms of the cost of his stay. Much to my surprise, everything's been consistent and above board. The facility is exceptionally clean. The staff are calm and easy going. My dad likes the food. It's just a really nice, well run place. Big ups to Frank who on numerous occasions went above and beyond to solve logistical problems in terms of doctor's and financial paperwork requests. My sister and I were swamped with work and Frank took it upon himself to problem solve and help the situation to see the end goal of my dad's tenancy become realized. It meant so much at a time when we were drowning in stress. My dad is fully ambulatory. He just needs a little help. This place has been perfect. Thank you.

This community is a hidden gem located in Chalfont! Staff are experienced and compassionate, there's great homemade food, and the activities are tailored around the residents interests, including fun regularly scheduled outings to restaurants and events.

My father came to New Seasons for a two month stay, so that he could benefit from additional physical therapy, nursing care and a supportive community before returning home. He enjoyed the activities, and the staff were very welcoming and kind. He looked forward to his meals, and breakfast was his favorite! Frank and the team were accommodating and even helped furnish the room during our stay. The staff were attentive and knew all the residents well. The physical therapy was tailored to the individual's needs and helped my father to meet his goals. New Seasons was a nurturing environment and provided the support and reassurance we needed for our father.

We moved our 90-year-old father into New Seasons over a year ago and we couldn't be happier about the choice. He continues to rave about how good the food is, loves his room, the overall environment and most importantly, he feels safe living there. During a recent visit, he said "I think very highly of this whole operation. Everybody gets taken care of." What impresses us most is the staff. They genuinely care about their residents and strive to provide the highest level of care, tailored to the individual. Hats off to New Seasons at New Britain!!

After doing many hours of on-line research, speaking to a number of assisted living facilities locally, as well visiting two other facilities, my family decided to go with New Seasons at New Britain. We could not be more happy with our choice. From day one everyone involved went out of their way to help with my moms transition. Shes been living there for almost two months now and she is still adjusting to her new life, but every person weve asked a question of or needed some sort of assistance from in getting her settled has either gotten an answer for us immediately or remembered without reminder from us to find an answer to our question. The facility is beautiful and very clean. The food is very good. Everyone who works there at all levels appears to be happy in their jobs, they are all very friendly and engaging towards the residents and me as a visitor. The ladies my mom sits with at meals, as well as others Ive met and talked with, are also happy and friendly and welcoming. Im not saying my mother wouldnt rather be in her own home, but its just not possible anymore, and so here she has very good care from very nice people. Were very happy with our decision to move her to New Seasons.

I just want to share what a great community New Seasons at New Britain is. The care they give to my mother-in-law is truly 5 stars. They are very attentive and go out of their way to accommodate her needs. The provide great activities each day to keep her busy. She is always saying how much she loves living there. Every time my wife and I go visit it is very clean and the front desk girls are so pleasant. We are glad that we chose New Seasons for mom, I would highly recommend.

My mother was very comfortable and well cared-for at New Seasons at New Britain. We chose that residence for its attractive, well-maintained facility, cleanliness of the individual rooms, the good dining service, and its proximity to our home. This remained her residence during her last 7 years of life, a period during which her health care needs dramatically increased. I believe that their pricing was reasonable and well worth it as I hope will be clear as I describe our experience there.In the years that followed her arrival, the particular excellence of the care staff and administrators was most appreciated. Whether it was in her room, the New Seasons room, dining room, hallways, occupational therapy, or outdoor veranda, the staff addressed my mother by name and with courtesy. They were helpful in acclimating her to assisted living which was very different from her previous independent lifestyle. While she drove her car when first a resident, the administration allowed us to help her decide to give up driving when appropriate. The nursing and care staff were knowledgeable and sensitive in helping her cope with mobility declines, necessitating her use of a cane, a walker and wheelchair. There was occupational therapy on site for rehabilitation following hospital stays. The staff were very professional in helping my mother remain engaged in community activities despite hearing difficulties and cognitive decline. The recreation staff were cheerful and sought to involve my mother at that level suited to her. I never felt at any time that she was neglected and, as a frequent visitor, I never witnessed any lack of kindness toward other residents. The social calendar varies daily with quite nice seasonal festivities around the holidays, holiday cookouts, and spiritual gatherings. As I often visited evenings and later on during midays, I was welcome to dine with my mother and often did so. I think that most often the food was good and well-presented. One can order from a fixed menu or choose from special daily entres.I cannot overemphasize not only the willingness but the capacity of New Seasons to provide an increasingly demanding level of care for seniors in decline. They provide additional nursing support, medication management, personal care and dietary adjustments as they become needed. These changes are discussed with family before they are introduced .While there are additional costs, these care provisions enabled my mother to remain in her home and avoid the disruption that moving to a nursing home would have entailed. The staff dedication was evident in her last months of life when hospice staff contributed their expertise in helping her to feel comfortable. Together with the New Seasons staff my mother was afforded the best quality of life during the last weeks of her life.

My mom has been at New Seasons for over a year now. She is very happy there! She has met new friends, and she participates in the activities. They have family special events for all holidays and occasions. The staff is very attentive. The biggest plus, is she is able to keep her bird with her, which was extremely important! There is also a café with coffee and flavored waters avail all day. Its close to where I work, so very convenient for me to stop up and see her a few times a week. I would highly recommend them!

Words cannot express the wonderful experience, excellent care, and professional treatment weve had with New Seasons @ New Britain (NS for short.)My mother has been at NS since August 2011. When mom first arrived, she was a mess mentally, physically, socially, and had a very negative temperament towards Assisted Living. It took mom awhile to adjust, slowly but surely she transpired from a quiet introvert to a social butterfly. Mom knows all the residents, shell check in with ones that are ill and participates in several activities. I NEVER thought Id see my mom take on such an active social life. Its heartwarming to see and such a relief to know mom is well taken care of, and shes very happy at NS.Management and staff know its a tough adjustment for residents, they are so patient and respectful not only with the residents, but also the family members as well.The intake process at the time seemed extremely overwhelming, mostly due to the fact this was unfamiliar territory for me and I was under a timeline to find a place for my mom. Never having done this before, I simply followed the instructions I was given. I met with management many times, I truly must give many thanks to Donna Galbraith, Executive Director. It was Donnas calm demeanor and openness to my multitude of questions which was my indication NS would be the right place for my mom. I will miss Donna, from what I observed and experienced she was on top of everything.In addition to the paperwork that needed to be completed prior to moms move in date, there was the financial piece. I was literally panicked and again, this was all new to me. I must give a million thanks to Candy Kleeman, Business Office Manager. Candy, like Donna, was (and still is) extremely patient, thorough, professional, and genuinely concerned for the well being of the residents. Candy is on top of everything as well, shes dedicated 1000%.In my opinion a ship is only as good as its Captain & crew. NS from management to the entire staff in all departments is top notch! First impressions are critical, walking in to NS youll converse with the Concierge, Marian Lynn. Marian is stellar at the front desk! Others that work the Concierge Desk (Jackie, Victoria, etc) are wonderful as well! The entrance and first floor of NS is so inviting, homey and spotless! The residents floors are beautiful and spotless as well.Joanne Stenken and Janan Ryan-Guerrera are so involved with the residents and daily activities. They have amazing energy and enthusiasm, the residents really respond to that, its an integral part of their daily living.The staff, activities, and services provided at NS as a whole is amazing! Their dining room looks like it belongs on a cruise ship! The meal selections, food service is an added bonus! You wont go away hungry from any meal.My moms medications are administered correctly and at the prescribed time. If mom has an issue with her sleeping, nausea, etc. during the night, shell press her call button and the RA on duty responds to moms discomfort in a timely manner.New Seasons recently won the Peoples Choice Award for BBQ Rib Cook-Off and Best Lifestyle 360 Dimension. Congratulations to the team of Candy, Kelmar, Nick, Justin and Liz Molitoris for bringing home the trophies and well deserved recognition!This pretty well sums up New Seasons at New Britain, its the Peoples Choice!
