Our mother, Anne/Anna Felix loved Sacred Heart from the moment she experienced a respite 'vacation' there five years ago. Wendy Franklin made her feel so welcome and smoothed her moves into her own room and then to memory care. Mom always raved about the compassionate care she received, the delicious food, the interesting activities and her special rooms. Pinochle games were her favorite pastime with other residents and with friends who visited once a week. Thanks to all the staff who made her years there wonderfully full. We were always kept abreast of her care and given helpful suggestions. And we appreciated the COVID precautions taken these last few years. Mom passed away recently at the age of 102. We know her life was lovingly extended due to her excellent care at Sacred Heart.

Our dad spent over three years at SHSL. From the first day he entered this senior home we recognized the compassion and patience that lasted throughout his time there. In particular the admissions director and nurse administrator were exceptional in the areas of care for our father and communication with our family. Their team of caregivers was also compassionate and always engaged Dad in a manner that was above and beyond. It was a very hard decision for a close family to make in the beginning, but not long after our father entered the program, we realized it was the best thing we could do for a man who truly deserved this wonderful environment. We feel lucky to have found this very special place for him. So on behalf of our mother, father and all of our family, we would like to thank SHSL, with a special thanks to Katelyn for her continuous outreach and beautiful video of memories. We would recommend this wonderful organization to anyone who would like to inquire.

We quickly needed assisted living for my 94 year old Mother with dementia. After researching and visiting a few local facilities, we chose Sacred Heart. From day 1, the staff offered supportive and appropriate suggestions to care for my Mother. My siblings and I visited on a regular visit and found that she continued to be well-cared for. The facilities are well-kempt and nicely appointed. Food options were nutritious and tasty, as well as modified to accommodate individual needs. Activities and services enhanced the overall experience for my Mother and the other residents. Most importantly though, the staff demonstrated unconditional concern and compassion for my Mother and our family. Sadly, my Mother passed away. But, I believe that her last days were spent in the greatest care possible. Staff treated her and us as if we were their family. Who could ask for more.

After researching many senior living facilities in this area, my siblings and I decided this was the best fit for our Mom. Our Mom just passed away at 94 years old. We could not be happier with our choice of facilities. The staff was extremely caring and responsive to my Moms needs. They truly cared about our Mom. The admissions director, Wendy continued to check with us to make sure things were good. We were kept informed about anything that was happening with our Mom. My Mom enjoyed the food and loved much of the staff. They went above and beyond what I ever expected. I thank God everyday that we made the right decision.

My brothers and I are so pleased with Sacred Heart Sr Living in Center Valley. The staff was outstanding. They are welcoming, warm, caring and devoted. We cant say enough good things about SHSL and the staff. Special thanks to Suzanne, Wendy and Mary Beth. They treated my folks and I like family. My parents moved in last week.

We were so nervous about Mom moving to Heritage Woods but now we are positive we did the right thing. She eats better and gets exercise everyday. She also smiles a lot more.

Mom goes there while me and my wife go on vacation. She always has a good time. Nice rooms, great food and very friendly staff. The residents seem very happy. Mom says there is pleanty of activities and is busy. Awesome people.

Wonderful place! The staff is welcoming and caring. They felt like family! They treat the residents with dignity and respect. They were always willing to listen to our concerns about our mothers health and kept us updated on any changes to medication or care plans. The grounds are beautiful and the facility was always clean and nicely decorated. Residents rooms are homey and comfortable. Nice dining room with fantastic food and a varied menu. There were always activities and the residents are encouraged to attend. The residents were very friendly too. Everyone from the administrator to the dining room staff know the residents by name and greet them when they see them in the hall. I had true peace of mind knowing my mother was living in a very caring, compassionate community!

The staff at Sacred Heart Saucon Valley welcomed me, my husband and my family with open arms. The residents were kind and welcoming. The staff was competent and compassionate. My mother has been a resident for 4 years now and she is extremely well cared for. The food and support services are great and, when medical issues occur (and at 93 years old they will), the Altenheim staff are well trained and observant, handling what they can in-house and when necessary managing her hospital admission. The staff seems to genuinely enjoy working with the residents and each other.
