I am writing this for my father Shreeve Barton. He was at Allegra at the Oaks in Bensalem PA. He was making friends an was happy to be there. He fell an broke his hip an femur an between the hospital an in a Nursing Home for Pt we had to take him out of Allegra because they are not sure if he will be going in hospice. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Allegra the staff the care they gave him. The place was always clean an everyone was pleasant. We are so sad he had to leave he misses everyone

My Aunt arrived at Allegria yesterday. She has been sick and in and out of the hospital and nursing care facilities for the last few months, before making it to Allegria. Leigha, Erin, and Trent from Allegria have been on top of her progress the entire time, staying in touch with her family, and reassuring us the entire time. Allegria is a very nice, clean place with tons of activities and great staff. We are so grateful to everyone there for their kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend Allegria at the Oaks if you need somewhere for your loved one to get the extra care they need

Moved my father to Allegria almost 2 months ago and we have seen a big improvement with his social skills and health since then. He lived alone for 3 years, since my Mother died, and now, he's eating 3 meals a day, socializing again, and enjoying life. He has dementia, but is able to take care of his personal needs. He's in the Independent Living area, so I cannot comment on the Memory Care area. Of all the places we searched for, this is the only one that he could afford and the area is very suburban and not like living in an institution. Whenever I needed something, the Maintenance Team took care of his needs and the Nursing Staff is kind. The administration team is very friendly and helpful when I ask dumb questions (it's not like I've done this before). Thank you to the staff for taking great care of dad.

My dad became a resident at Allegria in September of 2020. I have ZERO complaints. They take excellent care of my father and that puts my mind at ease. It was a very hard decision to place him in a facility but I have no regrets. I am able to call and be updated with no issues whatsoever. I also do virtual visits through the activities director so I can see my dad (he looks so good) and have a some face-to-face interaction. I am very pleased with the care that my father gets there. I wish I can thank all of the staff, nurses and aids by name but I don’t want to leave anyone out. Thank you ALL for taking such wonderful care of my dad you all are truly a blessing. Thank you so very much.

I’d like to start by thanking the staff at Allegria at the Oaks for the care they have shown my family member as well as the renovations the renovations they completed a few months ago. I read a few of the negative reviews and feel it’s very disturbing when people use a forum like this to clearly try and sabotage a business instead of being honest about the pros and cons. This type of activity is juvenile and degrades the purpose of having a great review platform like google. I hope people who read the reviews that are clearly inaccurate realize this. I am passionate about this because I’ve had a great experience watching my family member’s quality of life significantly improve in the last several months he’s been at Allegria. He is in the memory care section. The staff have many activities and even bring in outside entertainment for the residents. I really feel what makes this place amazing is the staff. They know the residents by name and seem like they truly care when they speak with them. Thank you staff.

My grandfather, god bless his soul, had to be put into a home. We were hesitant at first but I must say the care and compassion that Allegria has shown to our dear pops made all doubts fade away. He would always talk about how great the food was and how nice the nurses were to him. No matter what he needed they always helped with a smile and were nothing but helpful throughout his entire stay. Every time we went to visit the nurses sat down with us and gave us a full summary of how he was doing, and they were very open and helpful with us in general. Their recent renovations are gorgeous as well and add to the pleasantness of my grandad's stay. Highly recommended!! Great staff!!

I think when you put your loved one in a place like this, it should be clean and friendly. There are many things to look for. Put my dad in here on the Dementia floor. He was happy go lucky, looking forward in seeing people like himself and enjoying life. He did at first, even though the others weren't like him. There are do many types of Dementia. As we went we saw nothing stimulating here..no games, no music and most of all no one really talking to you, like you are there. Some of the aides were very nice and some could have cared less, it was s paycheck. Dad was getting worse quickly..still nothing being done. He didnt even know what day it was. Then he fell..no one even knew he fell or how he fell the first time. Butt was bruised, big time. How could no one know? Next time he fell he was in the dining area. They saw but couldn't get him before he fell. Wow...then I was told they Couldn't do one on one. What? Wasn't sure at that point why they were getting paid. It actually took them a week to give him a shower? Why?? They were shocked when I said something and gave him a shower the following night. Yikes!! He declined quickly in this place. Lack of attention for sure. Nothing to stimulate his mind. This should not be considered Dementia care. The story is much longer but I wanted to tell you one last thing. I went yesterday to get his belongings and there was a dirty coffee cup that was in the bathroom for 2 weeks. Really? Who cleans? Allegria...you need to clean up your act over there!

Grandma at Oaks for 8 mos I'm disappointed in some things and happy in other regards. Let's start with the 'happy'. The staff is friendly & kind and engages the residents in interesting activities daily. The dining room is bright and cheerful. The renovations appear complete and are lovely. The renovations went beyond just some new plants & wall hangings; they completely ripped out the living room and dining room- floor and all. The 'wrist watch style' call system is a nice addition to the routine staff visits which are typically every 2 hrs even if the resident hasn't called. The residents wear this watch and push a single button when they need help of any kind. The 'disappointed part' is Bucks County Dept of Health reports. Although they are working to resolve issues, it seems slower that I would have liked. The wrist watch style 'call device' experienced a system crash and is not repairable. In the interim during replacement, residents were each issued a 'bell hop style' desk bell. Doors are encouraged to be left ajar when possible since many residents have a personal tv in their room and its noise level can be an issue. The staff routine check-in visits were increased to 30min intervals during call bell replacement. I last visited 3 days ago. At the time, I had asked two different staff members but could not tell me when the new call system would be in place. Maybe I didn't ask the right person. Today I received news that the new call system would go-live by tomorrow. That is good news.

Mom has been a resident since mid-February. The thoughtfulness and caring from everyone from the director to the assistants is extraordinary. Even with her difficulties in walking and managing her personal care, she's in very good hands. She really does enjoy it at Allegria. <3

The care they have given my grandmother has been great! Never thought we could get her to transition from her home of 60+ years to here. The staff works very hard to get their residents to feel like they are at home. The activities/games that are done there are great! Keeps their minds going! My grandmother talks about how good the food is. Personalizing her room was fun! We made her room feel like home with furniture from her house and etc.. We can call anytime Of the day to ask how she is doing! Highly recommend this facility!!

Love this community! My mom is there. Home away from home is the best way to describe it. Also, I love the new renovations.
