I moved my mother to the Atrium in the beginning of October after a string of bad luck with a few other places. My mother isn’t demanding and would rather be forgotten, which is what happened in previous facilities. The decor is modern and welcoming. It is always clean. The marketing director is top notch; she met with me in the afternoon and immediately went to meet my mother later that evening, despite an hour plus drive. She went above and beyond to make our transition smooth. The executive director is great, too. Her door is almost always open and she is super approachable and helpful. These ladies are not beyond, jumping in and helping out hands on when needed. At other facilities we tried, I could not even tell you what the executive director looked like And I would never see the marketing director after the ink dried on the contract. What a great change! The staff is amazing! What a thankless job they perform; taking care of the elderly and doing to the things family members not equipped or able to do. And I mean that- from the wellness staff, to the aides, to the activities director, to the dining attendants, to the cleaning crew A+! And t’s always nice to be greeted by a friendly person at the desk when entering. The kitchen is super accommodating and the food is really good. I pop in there during meal times throughout the week and my family had the pleasure of visiting during the Thanksgiving dinner and were so impressed. I am so grateful for the Atrium. Knowing my mother is in competent and compassionate hands makes my life so much easier. 100% recommend. By no means is everything always perfect, but everyone there is willing to take ownership of any issues that arise and immediately fix them. And that is invaluable. Kudos, Atrium. Keep up the awesome work.

My sisters and I could not imagine we'd find this good a situation for my mom when my dad passed suddenly. We were planning his funeral while scrambling to find a caring, compassionate and attractive place for my mom to live; all on a tight budget. That is exactly what we found at Atrium of Allentown. You walk in and immediately notice how beautifully decorated and well-kept it is, with an updated farmhouse motif. You then meet the staff and each person is lovely and truly cares about your loved one. The dining room is inviting, the food is really good, and we were blown away by the many social events and caring people who run them. They even have an Instagram page where you can see your loved one enjoying the various socials, lunches out, etc. My mother is thriving at Atrium and truly happy after only 6 weeks of living there! We could not be happier.

My mother is a resident of Atrium's memory care unit for over a year now. Her room is spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. She is content and well-cared for. When I was searching for memory care facilities, what struck me initially about Atrium was the lovely decor and friendliness of the staff, whom my mother adores. They always go out of their way to make her feel loved. After she settled in, I came to appreciate more aspects. A highlight of Atrium is the numerous activities throughout the day (bingo, chair yoga, arts & crafts, baking, dancing, etc). My mother happily participates in almost all of them. Additionally, weekly excursions add to the fun. Trips include visiting local stores, restaurants, high school concerts, fall foliage tour, car shows, Martin Guitar tour, just to name a few. When my mother lived at home, her world was shrinking and isolating. Now, with all of the fun activities, she is far more engaged and joyful, even as her dementia worsens. The on-site salon makes it convenient to get hair cuts and manicures. I am so appreciaitive of Atrium for taking such wonderful care of my mother.
