My sisters and I could not imagine we'd find this good a situation for my mom when my dad passed suddenly. We were planning his funeral while scrambling to find a caring, compassionate and attractive place for my mom to live; all on a tight budget. That is exactly what we found at Atrium of Allentown. You walk in and immediately notice how beautifully decorated and well-kept it is, with an updated farmhouse motif. You then meet the staff and each person is lovely and truly cares about your loved one. The dining room is inviting, the food is really good, and we were blown away by the many social events and caring people who run them. They even have an Instagram page where you can see your loved one enjoying the various socials, lunches out, etc. My mother is thriving at Atrium and truly happy after only 6 weeks of living there! We could not be happier.

Every one of the staff members is nice and mom loves it here. The big difference for me is the care. The nursing director, Jody, goes above and beyond to make sure that mom is well cared for. And it shows!

i can not say enough about the atrium...my mom has been living there for a year in memory lane...the facility is beautiful and feels like home...the rooms are spacious...it's very clean...my mom loves the food!!! the staff, which feels like family, is amazing!! but my big shout out goes to maryjo, director of activities...to say my mom loves her is an understatement! she goes above and beyond, along with her staff, to keep the residents busy...from bingo to chair yoga...theme parties to bbq's, dining out to shopping sprees!!! since maryjo joined the staff my mom has been the happiest i've seen her in a very long time!!! i honestly can't thank anyone enough there for their hard work and dedication to the residents, i don't know how they do it! love you all so much! kelly x

My mother is a resident of Atrium's memory care unit for over a year now. Her room is spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. She is content and well-cared for. When I was searching for memory care facilities, what struck me initially about Atrium was the lovely decor and friendliness of the staff, whom my mother adores. They always go out of their way to make her feel loved. After she settled in, I came to appreciate more aspects. A highlight of Atrium is the numerous activities throughout the day (bingo, chair yoga, arts & crafts, baking, dancing, etc). My mother happily participates in almost all of them. Additionally, weekly excursions add to the fun. Trips include visiting local stores, restaurants, high school concerts, fall foliage tour, car shows, Martin Guitar tour, just to name a few. When my mother lived at home, her world was shrinking and isolating. Now, with all of the fun activities, she is far more engaged and joyful, even as her dementia worsens. The on-site salon makes it convenient to get hair cuts and manicures. I am so appreciaitive of Atrium for taking such wonderful care of my mother.

Atrium of Allentown is a beautiful community. When you walk in you are greeted by modern stylings and friendly faces. Everyone I encountered had smiles on and looked genuinely happy to be working in the building. Residents were well taken care of and engaged in lots of wonderful activities. I think the community is a must see!

I started the difficult journey with my beloved mother when she was unable to care for herself due to dementia. I visited many facilities before deciding on Atrium. I made the right decision. My mother received compassionate, loving care at Atrium. The staff was very professional and caring and always accessible. The facility is bright and clean. I highly recommend Atrium.

The Atrium of Allentown is a whole different vibe than your typical senior care facility and that is just one if the reasons I love working here! The building is aesthetically pleasing, but that is just the beginning. When you enter into the front lobby, you are greeted with a comfortable shabby chic decor that instantly makes you feel like you've walked into a warm, welcoming home. I am often told that the energy in our building is palpable & I won't say that I'm not biased... our staff IS awesome! We are younger than the staff you might find in a "normal" senior care facility & our energy is contagious. We love our residents and we show them every single day: the delicious meals we serve, the programming & activities that we provide and participate in and top notch care by our Wellness Team. We are one of the newer communities in the Lehigh Valley but we are growing by leaps and bounds. I urge you to visit the Atrium of Allentown and see for yourself why we proudly refer to our community as the Crown of Senior Living!
