The place is welcoming and decorated like someone's home. The gardens are lovely and the staff are kind and caring. They have plenty of activities and have set up their residents for as much functional independence as they can each handle.

From the first day I met Mecaela and her teammates at Cedar Crest I felt welcome and reassured about the care my husband would receive. This was one of several I toured that week and the warm, homey feel of this facility kept drawing me back. The staff I met were always helpful and showed genuine caring for their residents. My husband is just settling in, but I am so grateful for the care and safety he is getting. This is not the cold, sterile atmosphere of rehab or a hospital, but more like a home!

My wife spent the last 11 months of her Alzeihmer's journey with Cedar Crest. She got the very best of care - a heart felt thanks to the staff. They were more than staff. They took care of Helen like she was family, spending time with her out of their busy days. I also felt like family. They showed real compassion and would regularly check in with me to see how I was doing. They still do! A well deserved 5 star - thank you!

Our mom has been here for months and has bonded with many of the staff. Caregiving is hard work and there are people there with big big hearts. Of course there are bumps in the road but mom has been happy and they do their best to keep her comfortable. Staffing IS hard because it's thankless hard work. We've loved how loved she has been.

I wonder if things have changed since some of the last reviews. We moved our Dad in here 5 months ago and I am happy with this facility. The staff seem attentive and caring and it looks like the staff to resident ratio has improved in the last few months. We always get a call if there is any noteworthy incident and management has always been responsive to questions and concerns.

I worked here for nearly 3 years about 4 years ago. The Administrator and supporting managers are very committed to serving residents with compassion and high quality of care. The corporate level staff are equally committed. I appreciated so much the never ending pursuit they have to providing a beautiful home setting for residents with dementia coupled with highly trained caregivers and charge nurses

I have worked in many different memory cares and this is by far the best of them all. The level of care that this company has for the residents all the way to the corporate level. I will not work in another memory care this is the best that there is hands down.

I have worked at several Memory Care Communities over the years and I can honestly say that the staff at Cedar Crest are the most caring, friendly and dedicated people I have worked with.

Some of the caregivers here really do care, however when it comes to management they are questionable. I worked here for approx 6 months and besides beings short staffed and overworked the lies from management to family members is what made me sick and that qualifies this facility for 3 stars. The hardworking caregivers are why it even deserves the 3 stars. I have witnessed residents falling or being hit by other residents and as long as there were no serious injuries the HSD would simply say shh, dont say anything. It didnt happen. The HSD hangs out talking about her personal life and makes fun of the residents and their family members. I left because I found another job, where I am extremely happy and they placed in my record that I was fired.
