Woodside’s staff are relaxed yet professional. The feel is very home like with boundaries. The food is good for such a setting. I prefer spicy foods, but understand that not everyone can handle what I like. I find though that the food is flavorful and hearty. Everyone is very friendly. The people at the front desk are very enthusiastic and welcoming. Concerns are listened to and dealt with promptly, quietly, and with love. I highly recommend Woodside and their staff.

The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to feel like home. Woodside Retirement Center provides heartfelt care and tries to bring joy and encouragement to those who make this their home! We appreciate the care they provide our Mom who is 92 years young ! Thank you especially, Susan, Becky and Diane who beautifully orchestrates the desk!

I recently called to find out some information about this community. Susan was incredibly helpful to me, she went above what I had expected to help me. This community is pleasant and well staffed. I recommend that people check this place out before any others. When I think about how I'm going to live, this is a place I'd like to go spend out my last years.

My mother- n-law Grace stayed there for a very short time before she passed away and they were great with her and very caring and loving. She liked the food. The staff was always very friendly and kind and went out of there way to say hi and ask how are day was going when we went to visit Grace. I would highly recommend woodside if you have a family member that needs a safe place to stay. Thank you for all that you did to make Grace comfortable and happy

I have had outstanding experience woking with Susan Wakefield and her entire staff helping me place for new clients at Woodside. For the last 10 years and they have helped me with new clients touring and being placed, at the Woodside Assisted Living Facility in Springfield, Oregon. You can meaure the high degree of professional experience by how long the entie staff have worked and been employed at Woodside.Assisted Living. They are always well well organized for my clients. My clients have never claimed any issues about bad service or having bad meals. Susan has done a great job, In her approach 1. Getting the Right Staff, 2. Always getting the facilities to always look Right 3. Always providing the Right Level of Service 4. Providing the Right Apporach to potential cliens on tour. 5. We just moved my mom into Woodside this past weekend and have had nothing but positive experiences with all aspects of the process, including the staff, the residents, the dining room, the activities, and the facility itself. My mom says she feels like a queen! Our hearts are full.

My mother lived happily at Woodside for over 5 years, before during and after the pandemic. She enjoyed the excellent care and respect she received from every last one of the Woodside community. The staff did an outsized job of maintaining safety and helping me connect with her through the dark days of the pandemic. Food was good with many options and she had room service when she wasn’t able to go to the dining room. Her space was well maintained even as she declined to the point of not being able to do much on her own. We would still be a part of the Woodside community but my mother’s needs increased as her memory and vision began to wane and we had to find a memory care bed for her. I’ll miss connecting regularly with the people at Woodside Senior Living and am hoping my mother and I can go for a visit sometime soon. I highly recommend you check out the Woodside gang. I don’t think you’d be disappointed.

Susan at Woodside Senior Living is amazing! She worked with us through a crisis situation with my father to move through a complicated process quickly to secure an apartment. Ultimately my father wasn’t able to move to Woodside at this time as his recovery is not progressing but we are hopeful that a future move is possible and Woodside will definitely be our first choice.

The staff here works very hard at not only providing the best care assistance we're able to but we do a lot of great activities for our residents that are centered around their interests and needs. As well as fun things for the residents family members can participate in as well.

My mother is a resident of the facility there in Oregon and I handle her affairs but my husband and I live in Tennessee. An urgent issue came up and Becky, an administrator there, was extremely helpful in assisting us to get it taken care of quickly. The staff have been great!!

From day 1 I felt welcome at Woodside. I was in rehab for eight months and my two children looked for a place for me to live. I am sure blessed that they found this one to be the best in the area and they were right. The staff are so caring and attentive. The people take some time to get to know but I found they are as shy as I was. The activities help bring us together and get to know each other better. The Woodside is like a small family, we care for each other and look out for each other as the staff can not be there every minute. If you are looking for a place that you would feel comfortable with leaving your loved one in an assisted living facility Woodside is hard to beat. The food is too good, so watch your portion sizes or you will gain weight here, the cooks are amazing 🙂 Come check us out, especially now, our garden club is planting some great flowers and vegetables.
