We are so pleased that we placed mom at Willowcreek memory care (a part of the Springs) in Salem, Oregon. She has lived there for about 5 months. She is always clean, dry and well fed. If we have any questions or concerns, they are resolved in a timely manner. Than you to all the staff at Willowcreek.

My aunt and uncle have been residents of The Springs at Willowcreek for just about a year. She was in memory care, while he was next door in assisted living. The staff at both locations is amazing, treating my family as part of their own. Memory care is no joke - it's challenging to work with dementia and memory challenged residents, and the staff would often be found just sitting with an anxious resident, keeping them company. My aunt passed this month, and the employees not only offered us every physical comfort they could, they also cried and prayed with us and for us during the last weeks. My uncle wanted to spend the night with her, and they made him comfortable and kept watch over them both through what ended up being her last night. Now, the staff at my uncle's building are doting on him and making sure he knows he's not alone. I won't pretend that everything is perfect, sunshine and rainbows, in any assisted living or memory care situation. If you can visit and advocate for your loved one when they're in any facility, of course that's best. Any concerns I had, I shared with the management, and they were addressed right away and to my satisfaction. They made recommendations for my aunt's care (better shoes, for example, that had good tread and room for her toes to spread out a bit rather than being squished together - who knew she'd end up loving Crocs?) which were always a big help to us. I could go on and on, about the activities they provide and how good the food always looks and smells, and how sweet the residents all are... but I think I've left a long enough review.

I have worked in more than 5 different organizations in the State of Oregon in the past 20 years. This is the best place to work. From the top down the caring and respect for the elderly is the number one priority. I am very proud to be a member of the team here at Willowcreek.

My Dad has lived here for 2 1/2 years now. The staff & caregivers are caring & kind & always helpful. The meals are always good. His room is clean and bed is always made. It's nice that they have someone come in to cut hair & take care of his feet. Even though it's a challenge for him to participate there is a physical therapist that comes in for Weekly group exercises. Thank you for taking good care of my Dad.

Don't bother applying here. The lady that will interview you is very stuck up. She tried saying $15 an hour is too much and that they don't even pay their caregivers that have been there for YEARS that much. Incredibly sad considering many employers around salem are paying $15+. Also, $15 an hour still isn't even a livable wage and caregiving is HARD work and an emotional toll. Can't even afford a 2 bedroom in Salem with $15 an hour. Shows how much they care about their employees. Advice to the employees who currently work there: You deserve more, you put your all into caring for other people's loved ones and you're at risk for covid. There's plenty of employers who will appreciate you better and pay you what you DESERVE.

My father lived at The Woods memory care for 6 years. He received exceptional care. The staff were especially kind and caring, the facility was safe and comfortable, and the medical staff were always attentive to Dad's special needs. I highly recommend it.

My mother spent the last year and a half of her life at The Woods at Willowcreek in memory care. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff really care about their folks. My mother was treated with love and respect by everyone there. They were on top of any physical changes and notified us immediately, including when they felt she needed hospice care. We always dropped in unannounced, and never found anything wanting. We are so glad we found this place for her to live out her last days with dignity and respect.

Jackie and Her TEAM are AWESOME!!!! We have used The Woods not only with my Father, but also His mom 20 years ago. Jackie was a care giver back than for our Grandma. Excellent care was always given to Grandma and my Dad. It was great to see Jackie as the Office manager when it came time to place dad. We had looked at other places, but when we walked in and Jackie was the manager, it pleased us to know Dad would get the best care possible!!! Jackie was very good to us, it was easy to apply and set up dad's care. Dad passed six months later, but I can say.. those six months he received excellent care from ALL THE STAFF!!!! They were very caring and compassionate toward him and our family along with his friends that came by to visit him. During the time of his passing, we as a family was able to be by his side together. The staff brought us food and drinks and offered us what ever we needed. Our family can not express our APPRECIATION enough to Jackie and her Staff. Earl Kirk and Family

Since 1998 I have been marketing Long Term Care insurance; thus, I have somewhat more familiarity with care facilities than most. When my wife's aunt (also my client) needed Long Term Care services in the fall of 2010 I began the process of evaluating care facilities in Salem, Oregon. We visited a number but quickly made a decision for the Woods at Willow Creek following a tour of their facility and after consulting with their staff. My wife's aunt has now been at the Woods for over 6 years and we couldn't be more pleased with the care she has received. I have been so impressed not only with the care but also the staff that when my 95 year old mother needed care in the Sherwood, Oregon area we immediately visited The Springs at Sherwood. My mother has now been at The Springs at Sherwood since December of 2015 and my decision to place my mother there has been validated innumerable times. A secondary blessing to having great care provided for both my wife's aunt and my mother is the interaction with all levels of staffing at both facilities. They become friends and it makes visits all the more special.

My mom is at the 5th stage alzheimers. The place is clean but it has no games or interaction with clients. They go room 1 to last room in this way each morning. They get the clients up. Then stick them in the living room to set all day. Doing nothing. The women drag meals out in. It took 35min for my mom to get a coffee. And another 45min for oatmeal which was followed even later for the pancake. 3 hours for breakfast was awful. Constant wait mode. The staff is not organized. They are random. They manage their stations and are not involved with clients. I also think its not a good idea to have everyone out of their rooms for show and not comfortable. But in the front area the staff can say they are supervising the clients. Not keeping a watch on them where they would prefer to be and more comfortable. Being a co-ed my mom has a bully of a man who pursues her and tries to hold hands with him. Does not set well with dad. Some things are part of age. But the staff is there for the job area and not the people. I have come against worse places. But this is not much better than a cattle call. It could be a great place if the in house staff would be part of the people and not avoid them at every turn. They stand in the kitchen area a lot. They do not divide the staff care between certain clients. These people are our family and parents. We love them and dislike the indifference which appears.
