UPDATED At Brookdale Roseburg, where my mom resides, the kindness and exceptional care provided by the staff have made a significant difference in her life and ours as a family. From the very first day, we were greeted with warmth, and it was clear that every staff member, from the caregivers to the nurses, genuinely cares about the residents. It's comforting to know that my mom is surrounded by people who not only meet her medical needs but also take the time to get to know her, treat her with respect, and make her feel like she's part of a community. I have know the same Management Team for over 20 years. The are highly qualified and experienced. There is no other facility in Oregon like this one, possibly the nation. They are safe, and kind, amazing food and care. Exactly what a Memory care should be. And they are the best at what they do. The environment at Brookdale Roseburg is more than just a facility; it feels like home. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure my mom is comfortable and engaged, with personalized care that makes a real difference. I think mom mom would have declined faster anywhere else. Whether it's through the high-quality meals she enjoys or the thoughtful activities that keep her active and connected,( and they work really hard to do so as y mom is not easy to please) I can see the positive impact it has on her well-being. The nursing team's professionalism, combined with their caring approach, gives me confidence that my mom is in the best hands. Brookdale Roseburg has truly been a blessing for our family, providing the peace of mind that she is safe, happy, and well cared for every day. You wont find a better place. My mother in law resides here and I must say she is treated exceptionally well. The staff is great, the facility is very nice and kept for clean. We feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful place for Darlene to live her last years in.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Brookdale Roseburg, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was evident that cleanliness and resident well-being were top priorities! The community was immaculately clean, creating a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. What stood out the most, however, was the level of care and engagement provided the residents. The staff members were not only attentive to the resident's physical needs but also went above and beyond to ensure their emotional and cognitive well-being. It was heartwarming to see the genuine connections between the staff and residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Overall, my experience at Brookdale Roseburg, left me with a profound sense of admiration and respect for the dedication and compassion of the staff, as well as the high standards of care provided to the residents. I would highly recommend this community.

As a Professional Fiduciary, sometimes I know it is necessary to find a "warm", safe and thoughtful place for a client with advanced Alzheimer's who can no longer handle it in Assisted Living or at home. I know from 24 years' experience in Douglas, Lane and Curry counties that Brookdale Roseburg is by far the best option for Advanced Memory Care; it has a large and knowledgeable staff that cares about Brookdale's success and they work toward that. The rooms, surroundings and grounds are clean, pleasant and bright, and the "special events" are inventive and cheerful. The facility has much improved over the years of Sarah Calvert's administration, which I have really appreciated. And now the kitchen apparently has "the best meatloaf recipe I have ever tasted!"

I never thought Dad would go into a memory care facility. NEVER! They were absolutely incredible to him & got him to Brookdale peacefully & willingly go with them into his new beautiful home! He was a contractor, so I truly appreciate that the facility is completely renovated & so beautiful! I love that I have access to them within seconds by phone & if I email them, I get responses within minutes. I have never dealt with a parent or anyone being in a memory care facility. I so appreciate the gentle coaching I've received helping me to communicate with Dad. I cannot say enough positive about this entire experience.

I found out about Brookdale Roseburg 20 years ago. At that time I got to know everyone very well, as my spouse has worked there the last 20 years and my youngest son had volunteered there and I also volunteered time to time on holidays. But four months ago, my mom came to Brookdale, Roseburg. And I can say I have watched Brookdale since its opening. And its only improved over time. So when my mom was diagnosed with Dementia, Brookdale, Roseburg was the only choice. The Managing team there is solid, and most have been there over a decade or more. And this shows in the efficiency in the way they operate. Brookdale Roseburg takes their jobs serious, yet you would think it was Family they way they are with Residents and Family of residents. They respond to questions quickly and amazing at their jobs. I know other memory cares near me, but there was only one place that my mom was going to go, and that was Brookdale, Roseburg. My mom, is respected there, and thats a big deal. She feels cared for and loved as well. The dinning in the facility, is as amazing as the care. The kitchen staff as well is there along time, and their Dinning director has been there 20 years, and near 35 years experience. So the food prepared is very good. I want to address the team of directors and managers there. The way they work together having known each other so long, is truly a credit to the memory care facility. And should be something anyone seeking a place for their loved ones needs to consider. There are not just workers in a Memory care facility, these are experts at what they do. I am lucky my Mom can be here in this next journey in her life. As I know at Brookdale Roseburg, she matters.

This is a great environment and has really improved my Dad's quality of life. The staff really cares. The executive director is top notch and is very accommodating. She treats her staff and patients like she would her own family! She is a very compassionate person. We are very lucky to have her in my Dad's life.

Brookdale Roseburg as taken care of my mom for the last 2 years. In that time they have shown to be very attentive to her needs. Excellent communication between the staff and family. Her health needs are met with great attention to detail and the care staff is excellent and compassionate to her at all times. She has much to do there and the activities keep her engaged and happy. She enjoys meal times and visiting with her friends. Great job to all the staff there, I appreciate you all!

I have worked in other Memory Care Facilities, I have not worked at any Brookdale Facilities, but when I compare Brookdale to other facilities my family member has been in, or that I have worked in... Brookdale is 5 StarI can tell you that Brookdale from a Nurses experience and as a family member of a resident there, that this is by far the best care I have seen-experienced in a Memory Care Facility! From the front desk, to the Caregivers, Med Aids, Nurse, Activities Director, to the Executive Director....They all have been very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, respectful, and caring. They show they care not only about the residents, but also the family-friends of the resident. This is where your love one is truly loved! Kim H.

The staff at Brookdale have lovingly cared for my mother for quite sometime. Her care was holistic and compassionate. As her dementia progressed they kept her safe til the very end. I will always be very grateful for their support and helping me carry the burden. Alzheimers is a very tough disease and they manage it successfully every day!

My Mom has been a resident of Brookdale Roseburg since last March and Im very impressed with the care she is receiving. The facility is clean and inviting and staff is always friendly and available for questionsI was also impressed with how quickly they worked to get Mom into the facility. I highly recommend Brookdale if you are in the unfortunate position of having to place a loved one in memory care.
