Licensing, care services, staffing drastically changed in 2024. Focus now on behavioral and mental health residents under new licensing contracts.Retract my review done in 2022. I was implored to write it by admissions director who then abruptly departed. Take a tour and make your own judgement.

i’m a med tech at Senior Haven and absolutely love it! The job is great, staff is wonderful, and residents are amazing! The staff really does go above and beyond and i am so excited to come into work every day. Would 10/10 recommend !

There is truth in Senior Haven's website representations of the care provided to residents and the facility itself. My husband arrived having been months in a specialty hospital and a skilled nursing facility; both facilities egregiously overstating or concealing information about medical services, staffing, outsourced connections, and the law. Having worked urgently through the State Ombudsman, SHIBA, and “A Place for Mom”, our family was thankful to be directed to a safe haven where his unique needs and life history are acknowledged, respected, and attended to. There is only one chance to make a first impression, and Senior Haven team delivered, not only on my first visit but with their continuing dedication to competent and compassionate care. Communication too has been very helpful in caring for my husband. A relative newcomer, he has been warmly welcomed by all on-site staff, outside medical providers, and residents (who have made a point of telling us what a good place it is to live). Given the nature of health care in America, and particularly caring for our vulnerable elders, Senior Haven seems to have the leadership and team in place to follow through with their assurances. It is a relatively small building with a homey atmosphere, very clean, and the food is good.

I loved working here. I love most all of the caregivers and med techs. It was an honor and a privilege to care for the residents! Most employees there are full of love! Some people who have left were so warm and loving and made me feel welcome from day one. But then some left and it was so sad but then others came who were so nice. I loved the residents soo much. I loved my managers at first. But things did change unfortunately and certain staff were still great but many were unreliable without a worth ethic. And some members of management were basically plain not nice and disrespectful . There were some incidents that were handled so so poorly . I was hoping to work here for the rest of my career but unfortunately there were unacceptable , unprofessional incidents with management and I felt betrayed after my hard work and dedication. I was loved by my coworkers , ie med techs, caregivers, activities , front desk . But many quit due to management problems which basically amounted to poor treatment , Unprofessionalism and betrayal. But perhaps if management changes , it could be wonderful . It was exciting because they got approved for memory care for the front section.

This place has really gone down hill in the last year after previous owners Lena and Arias sold. APS is always in for investigations. New owner only care about money and NOT qaulity of care. Turnover rate is horribly high, the facility is constantly running out of wipes, briefs AND GLOVES along with being extremely dirty only providing watered down soap and not following proper covid protocol. This facility has been thru multiple nurses and Administrators since they sold as well. Current Admin is allowing new staff to train new staff on caregiving and Med passes. Overall this place is an overpriced disaster! I would never consider placing a family member here, and if they were here I would move them out as soon as possible.

My mother lived at Senior Haven for just under a year, and our family could not be happier with the care she received. From the owner to the Administrator to staff providing the day-to-day care, we felt so fortunate that she considered Senior Haven home. The staff were truly compassionate and provided incredible care. If we could offer a 6-star review, we would--we were that happy with the care received.

I have some experience with care facilities for my Mom and I could not be happier than I am with Senior Haven. I would give 10 stars if it were an option.My Mom needed some special care and she got it...The staff is amazing. The owners, administrators, med techs...Everyone!You can really tell when people in this industry truly care and Senior Haven does. My wife and I spent a lot of time at Senior Haven with our Mom so we got to see firsthand how they treat the seniors who live there.The staff was responsive, easy to reach by phone or in person when needed and my Mom loved them which is the most important part.If you are in need of an awesome place for a loved one do yourself a favor and go visit...Meet see staff, tour the facility etc. I would use their services again in a heartbeat.THANK YOU Lena, Sabrina, Michelle, Manny, Tom, Leanna and Pat...Im sorry if i missed anyone. My grandfather spent the last two and a half weeks of his life here, and honestly I could not have hoped for a better, more present, loving staff to ease his pain as he passed. They did everything they could for him, worked with his every need, and made sure that he wasnt in pain. They encouraged me to decorate his room with pictures, let me come on my 3am lunch breaks to hold his hand, and cared for him with love and dignity. I was grateful for them then, and two years later I am still grateful for them. They were kind, present, so easy to work with, and beyond helpful. Thank you Sabrina and everyone at Senior Haven!

Thanks to the staff at Senior Haven my husband was very well taken care of. The staff was aware of his needs and addressed each one accordingly as his disease progressed. He did not want to go into a care facility but after only about a month he began calling it home. He loved the staff and the staff loved him. We looked for a long time to find the right care facility and we are so blessed to have found it at Senior Haven. I would recommend it to anyone. They took excellent care of him and were patient and kind to all of my family.

I moved my mother in to Senior Haven last July. The facility is new, very clean and the staff is amazing. They are very caring and treat the residents with great care and love especially as their final days approach. I can visit my mom 24 hours a day and the building is secure and safe. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a nice place for your parent.

My mother lived here for almost 2 years, her care was great .All the staff are caring even cleaning crew ,they are great keeping us informed are any changes in Mom, good and bad.This facility is always clean and never smelled bad.Couldnt have found a better place for Mom.

We recommend Senior Haven most highly. The facilities are new and very clean. The staff is highly competent and very caring. There is no one else we trusted with my sister’s care....they were her advocate in issues both large and small. From the owners to the nurses to the caregivers to the administrative staff we relied on them and were never disappointed. Care for family members is meaningful work—Senior Haven is the very best.

My mother has been at Senior Haven for 2 1, 2 years. She is 96 and was no longer capable of living at home. Our family feels fortunate to have found this place. The staff is very caring and professional. Mom feels that she is well taken care of and is happy here.

My 94-year-old father has lived in Senior Haven for two years. The staff is warm, caring and professional. Finding this place was a lifesaver for us. As he is developed dementia, having a staff who is patient with him and stays in touch with the family has been incredibly valuable. We could not be more happy with Senior Haven and the entire team takes care of my dad.

My Mom was 91 when she fell at her house and broke her leg, extensive surgery was required and even after rehab services she was still confined to bed. I went looking for a homelike environment where she could hopefully get better and have the best possible quality of life. After talking to Aris and Lena at Senior Haven, Mom moved in. With P.T. and help from me and the wonderful staff, Mom was eventually able to walk again with the aid of her walker. The staff was helpful, respectful, professional and most of all caring. Mom was at Senior Haven for 4 years. She enjoyed parties, holiday celebrations, games, exercises, BBQs, talking with her tablemates during meals, sitting in the front room to say hello to visitors, or smelling the flowers on the patio. Finally, words are not enough to express my gratitude for the tender and loving end of life care and compassion Mom (and I) received at the end. Thank you, Sabrina, and all the staff at Senior Haven.

my moms been at senior haven since 2012.this place is unbelievable! there is so much care and the people that work there are kind and respectful.they have ,partys,games,movie night,EXCELENT food,one on one contact with family.wow! its just beatiful,clean warm and mom loves her little apt.thats what she calls it.the grounds are lovely to look at with fountain to look at while you eat.easy access for the people living there to enjoy the sunny days.my mom could stay with me,but she likes her place and friends so there you go.lol.mom went from so sick to a vital happy woman.at 87.i love the people there like family!!!! they TRULY go all out with everything.i have no worries at all with my mamma being there.thank you aris lena and staff.we love you!!!

Spent weeks looking for a place to put my Dad. Senior Haven exceeded any place else that I had looked. The care, concern, compassion, and time the took with my Dad was above and beyond what I ever would have expected in a Residential Care Facility. Wish I had found it years earlier.
