I’d like to add my name to the chorus of voices praising Arcadia Senior Living in these reviews. My father lived at Arcadia toward the end of his life, and the quality of attention and professionalism from the staff toward the residents was well above and beyond anything I’d witnessed in other facilities in the Portland area. It truly feels like a community of care in every corner of the place. From the daily attendants, to the kitchen and cleaning workers, to the receptionists, to the various department directors, everyone seems to take personal responsibility and accountability for ensuring that the needs and well-being of the residents and their families are fully supported. I was a little concerned that the location was too far from the center of Portland to be easily accessible, but that was not true at all. It is actually quite easy to get to and the setting is lovely”sandwiched between the beautiful Leach Botanical Garden and Powell Butte Nature Park. I highly recommend this warm-hearted and dedicated community of caregivers for anyone who is looking for a welcoming home-like environment for elderly relatives in need of a professional support facility.

I want to thank the outstanding staff at Arcadia Senior Living in Portland. On very short notice we needed to find a place for my sister and brother-in-law that could accommodate their needs. The Arcadia team, lead by Mercedes, did an outstanding job of helping us secure the perfect unit for them and when my sister needed to move in before their apartment was ready they had a solution. Unfortunately, just before she moved in she was placed on Hospice. While only at Arcadia a few weeks I know the staff provided her with tremendous care. They updated me regularly and showed tremendous love, compassion, and care. I will be forever grateful to them for their care. The facility is terrific, the residents seem genuinely happy and well cared for, and I know there is a tremendous sense of love for their residents. Thank you Arcadia.

Mercedes is such a talented coordinator who will learn your needs and wants and accommodate on your behalf! She ensures that all her residents are in the best care and room possible. My mother moved to Arcadia Senior Living over three years ago. We have come to very much appreciate Arcadia Senior Living because the staff there really care about about the residents. This is true of all the employees there, from the housecleaners to the administrators. Everyone pitches in with kindness and patience. At one point a couple of things slipped through the cracks, and we talked with the upper administration. They started the conversation by telling us how much they loved my mother! And that everyone else did, too. Then they listened to our concerns and worked to ameliorate things. This has really built trust with us and this is also why we helped my father and his wife move in when they needed more levels of care more recently. This is essentially a good place for all of them and we're grateful to have found it.

I have 3 parents living at Arcadia. The family is so pleased with the help there, how they respond quickly and are so caring with the people who live there. They help interest them in activities and encourage them out of their rooms. My parents appreciate the food, the friends, and the caring staff.

Arcadia Senior Living is the most loving community! Not only do I feel that my father is receiving excellent care, I feel that he is genuinely loved and appreciated. The facility itself is beautiful and clean. Their staff is professional and friendly, and their management is both available and approachable. Their monthly family dinners are a highlight! The Luau on the patio was fantastic! As a healthcare professional myself, I do not say these things lightly. I look forward to visiting my Dad at Arcadia! The loving support they have shown to our family is amazing!

Mom has been at Arcadia Senior Living for over 2 years now and is so happy with her choice! Arcadia offers extraordinary service, compassion, care and dignity to their residents. Mom is more social and involved since coming here fostering many friendships and getting involved with their many events and activities. Their Social Activities Director Tuana and her Assistant Nikki are incredible. Their creativity and activities are second to none. They truly care about all the residents and strive to keep them entertained and happy. They really do go above and beyond and has had such a wonderful impact on mom. I highly recommend Arcadia they are like an extended family and I am so very thankful for their kindness to my mom. Their entire staff are hero’s!

Anyone who has had to deal with the transition from independent living into assisted living knows how stressful that can be. The staff are AMAZING! They have made the transition smooth and stress free. This place is very friendly, inviting, cozy, and nice. The units are brand new. The food is great, the activities they have are wonderful. I cant believe how great and friendly the staff are!! What a nice change!

Visited this facility, and found the building and the grounds to be wonderful. Clean, warm, welcoming and overall just very inviting. Definitely felt cozy like Home should be. The staff was accommodating, professional, genuine, warm and overall passionate about providing the best experience possible. Definitely recommend this facility to everyone.
