A Place At Home truely cares for its caregivers. This is the first company I worked for that puts thier caregivers first. I have worked many jobs before and never had I experienced enough care and respect the way I receive it at A Place At Home. This company gives me a voice and allows me to feel free to communicate with them on daily basis. I appreciate all that A Place At Home does for its caregivers. Thank you for am glad to have found a decent company and enjoy the work that I do.

When I applied here to become a caregiver I honestly didn't know much at all, I had little experience in this field. I had just gotten into a car crash and they told me I could begin when I was ready. About a week later, I started my training which was more than helpful. I got to watch videos, answer quizzes, experienced hands on training along with all my questions being asked and learned exactly what I needed to. If someone told me years ago I'd be doing this today I probably would have laughed, but I'm super happy this job is more than just a job. Here, everyone treats everyone like family, it's a safe and welcoming environment. The Employees are super understanding and the clients are amazing. If you're hesitant on applying I recommend working with A Place At Home, I've heard and seen nothing but positivity with this agency and honestly I plan on staying for a long time. You get as much hours as you want/need, you get to meet new people and travel around the state along with you get treated like the adult you are. There's no judgment here of any kind. If you're looking for an agency to help you, I'd choose here. The clients I've been with had their needs met and more. They are happy, comfortable and our staff here are more than welcome to ensure you get the help you need, when you need it.

I've been a caregiver here for about a year. I love all of my coworkers and my clients. It's nice to be in an establishment that takes into consideration who will work well with each other (client and caregiver). I've never had a bad interaction with staff and I always feel seen, heard, and appriciated. If you are a caregiver struggling to find a good client this is a great place to work! They will make sure you as well as the client is happy and comfortable. It is a relief to know that clients and caregivers are reviewed before becoming a part of A Place at Home. I've not met any client that I didn't like. There is a lot of opportunities here! I love working for them. If you or someone you know needs extra help give us a call we would be happy to help!

I started working at A Place At Home about a year ago. And ever since they have been extremely helpful and understanding people. The management really cares for it's workers just as much as their patients. They are easy to communicate with and connect with the families they help. It is a great privilege that I get to work here and help patients and families.

My Caregiver is the finest person who comes to my home and does fine work in every phase such as cleaning and making my bed and laundry things I cannot do such as showering and putting my Compression socks on. Shelby Knudsen is her name. I know her time is limited and another Caregiver named Carly came for a short time and she is also a fine Caregiver in every respect. I am unsteady on my feet. I also get help dressing etc. I am really sorry that the VA wont allow me more time as I fall short when left here alone. I wish I had more space to tell you how pleased I am: James D. Over the past four months I have had pleasure of working as a caregiver for A Place at Home. I was thoroughly impressed by the agency's diligence in ensuring that each client is happy with their care. They take the time to match caregivers to clients based on their skills and personalities. If you are in search of employment and enjoy working with older adults, I highly recommend applying. If you are a client, I think there are a lot of advantages to choosing a smaller agency that emphasizes compassion, accountability, respect, and ethics. Shout out to Jerome and Kaylee in the office, for making such a great work environment.

I was looking for a part time caretaker that could and would do all the small things around the house.. As I cook and like to cook that is the one area that I was not interestd in. I interviwed 5 or 6 different places and decided on A Place At Home. I am certainly happy that I did as they are head and shoulders above the other providers that I talked to. It all starts at the top as Jerome Philips did and continues to do everything possible to make it a good relationship and you could not find anyone more accomadating. He works with you to give you the care you need and also to schedule times that are needed in your particular case. It does not stop there as he continually checks to make sure that all is going well and at the times tha are needed. A fellow named Stan Clark was assigned to me. I am not familiar with the other employees however Stan not only does all the things in their brochure he does all of this on his own accord and does not wait to be told what you want him to do. If he sees something that needs doing he automatically takes care of it. He comes up with ideas of his own that make things easier such as obtaining a Handicap Parking Permit. He is always pleasant and his conversation is geared around many things and not just his own intersts. If the other employees are half the people that Stan is the organization will continue to be the premier Caregiver Organization in this area. To me Stan is no longer just a caregiver but he is also a Friend.
