We found Somerset after researching many independent living communities. This one seemed more caring and social, plus delicious meals. My aunt enjoyed it so much that another family member moved there. Now two more are planning to join. Great experience all around.

I recently attended the Somerset Lodge Italian Festival. It was so fun! From the front door in it was like walking into Italy! The art work and grape vines everywhere. Italian flags! The charcuterie style appetizers were amazing! The buffet Italian selections were delicious. It was great, thank you to the staff at Somerset Lodge.

I like the ladies I play cards with. The dinning room is always fun because I meet new friends. I used to live in the cottages while my husband was still alive. I kept putting off moving into the Lodge because I liked the cottage so much. I found I was lonely by myself so I moved in to a 1 bedroom on the 2nd floor and I wish I had done it sooner! There is always something to do and lots of people to talk with. Our food has been great and there are plenty of choices. I even helped decorate for Christmas!

My stay at Somerset was very nice. Most of the meals were tasty. I made wonderful friends there. The grounds were beautiful. The trips were fun! I've moved away so I don't see my friends anymore.

We are so grateful for April Day and her hard work making sure that we are comfortable here and helping us with a nearby parking space. The Chef is also to be commended. Last but not least, Jeff, the head of maintenance, has been superb in helping make our cottage feel like home. We moved three weeks ago and love it here! The staff and residents are all so friendly and welcoming.

Somerset Lodge is an independent retirement community that takes care of the basics for you! We do the cooking, cleaning and driving. Everyone here from the residents to the staff bring something special that is hard to find anywhere else. The management team live here on site so not only are they here to help but they are also here to make sure each resident feels welcomed and loved. There are different activities planned everyday as well as scenic adventures and outings. Stop by for a tour anytime!

I recently moved into Somerset Lodge and have had the most wonderful care and attention anyone could ask for!!! Starting off, April Day was the first person we met who was so very attentive in getting me settled in. Secondly, Kim and Jason, Assistant Managers, have gone out of their way to help me with every element of making me comfortable and answering many questions, etc. I feel VERY blessed to have my first experience with Independent Living here at Somerset Lodge - A GREAT PLACE!!!!!!!

I noticed that most of the reviews were from family members and not residents. I have been a resident for over a year and management is constantly changing as are the kitchen staff. It's always changing and at times the food is good and often it is not. The only reason I'm still here are the other residents.

This is an awesome place for anyone looking for independent living. I have met people that I never thought I would and have made some great friends. There are different trips and places that we have been on that I never thought about going to. There are also different actives and things we do throughout the day. I feel safe and we are in a great neighborhood. They serve really good food and really listen to what we want.
