Shorewood does a great job in creating a connection with its residents. They do fun activities and keep the residents engaged in a variety of activities. It's great to be able to chat with some of their residents when we go down to their building.

The People at Shorewood are both caring and loving. My Mom and Dad have lived there for two years now. To be honest they get bored , however they no longer drive and they aren't much for joining in. My Mom does think of her front view as her yard and busies herself keeping it neat. She is proud of it. Both my parents are walkers. My Dad walks all the trails around Shorewood, both long and short. There are several stores and restaurants with in walking distance. They remain healthy and have good meals provided. Some special events are a plus for all the Seniors. I think Shorewood tries hard to keep everyone entertained. The Staff is very aware of everyone and their specific needs. They go the extra mile.

The Shorewood has been a warm and welcoming home for my Mom and Dad. From the first day when we toured the feeling of a very loving and happy place was evident. The staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. We love to visit and have lunch or dinner with my mom!! I am so happy we found the Shorewood!! They have tons of activities as well, and the residents can get involved as much as they want. I would recommend the Shorewood highly!!

Great place for my elderly friend with beginning dementia! They are so kind and attentive, and have several extra services available for a reasonable charge. The facility is clean, welcoming, and the food is very good. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place for a loved one.

My parents moved in July of 2021 and has the greatest experience for both of them. It was hard for them to leave there house but the people at Shorewood were very good in the transition.

My father was a resident at Shorewood for 15 months, until his passing. The residents and staff at Shorewood were more than kind. I cannot say enough good things about the culture of Shorewood! It's a great place to live and thrive. During my dad's last days, the staff were extremely thoughtful, respectful and loving with our family. Shorewood is the BEST!

Where do I begin? I started here about 10 years ago as a live-in weekend manager/as a week day live-in/ as an off site weekend manager and then finally now as a part time helper and private caregiver. So you name it- I've seen it and possibly done it. I keep coming back and they keep letting me in. Why? Because Shorewood is the best place I have ever worked. The love and caring here between staff and residents and among staff can't be matched. It's been a privilege to know the wonderful residents I have known and to work with the wonderful staff. This is a Team effort to make all welcome. And it works!

Although the building is not new or fancy, Shorewood is filled with wonderfully kind and caring employees. My mother is a resident and makes repeated comments about how helpful and sweet the chef and servers in the kitchen, the people responsible for weekly cleaning, and especially the activity director have been to her. The executive director forever has my admiration and gratitude for her determination and relentless quest to provide the residents the earliest possible opportunity to receive the Covid vaccines. Staff members have been extraordinarily accommodating for my mother's needs, and focused on doing whatever is best for her physical and mental welfare. Not only the staff, but a number of the residents have truly taken my mother under their wing. It may not be a beautiful and impressive building, but Shorewood has an amazing personality.

Shorewood Senior Living is the place to live in Florence for seniors wanting a great living experience. The living is top notch. The food is prepared by a very talented team. There are always fun activities. The residents are very friendly and eager to welcome you to Shorewood. The residents apartments are roomy and nicely decorated. Some even have patio's. The staff that assists the residents there are friendly and helpful. I think anyone would love the living at Shorewood Senior Living.

My grandparents lived there for a few years before they passed. The care they received was the best when they needed it. It was easy for them to adjust to living there and the place was nicely kept. My Grandma always commented on how she loved the staff as well as my Aunts when they went to see them. I'd recommend this place if your parents are in need of assisted living. You won't be disappointed.

My 91 year old father lives here and it is wonderful for him. The food is very good and the staff is so helpful and friendly. Dad is still active but this gives me the social outlet he needs plus I don't worry as there is always someone available and having restaurant style dining is wonderful. Really a nice place to live!

My 83 year old mother has resided at Shorewood Senior Living for a little over a year. Since she moved in she has required increasing levels of attention and care due to decreased mobility, progressive loss of memory, delusions, and overall failing health. My sister and I are delighted with the wealth of knowledge, support, guidance, and genuine care we've received from staff at Shorewood. It feels like we have an extended family all committed to provide the best quality of life for our mom. They customize her care to address her unique and specific needs. In addition to the family-like care that our mom gets, the facility itself is stellar. It's top quality all the way and offers every type of amenity and life enriching experiences and activities you can think of. Shorewood truly does provide a first class experience in a first class facility.

My Mom is a resident at Shorewood - and I must say that her care is the best. Beth Webb the Manager is without reproach, and her kindness and consideration for all of the residents is a beautiful thing. Shorewood makes every effort to find the right solution for each resident and I cannot thank them enough. Beth rocks!

My mother-in-law lives here. She likes it really well and enjoys the food and socialization. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. They even lowered the closet rod and showerhead because she is quite tiny, without being asked.
