Start here! Excellent facility and great people to help you with your hardest decision of your life. I needed to place an aging parent with late stage dementia and spoke with Austin. Austin is patient and empathetic to your situation. He spent time listening to me trying to understand how to manage my unique circumstances. We met, had lunch in their dining room and he showed us all of the amenities and grounds. I ended up having to relocate my parent out of state and was not able to take advantage of Waterford’s beautiful facility. That didn’t stop Austin from checking back in to see how my move went and let me know that I could always call him as a resource. If this is the customer care as a non-resident, I can’t imagine how nice it must be to have a loved one there. Thank you Austin.

We moved my wife’s parents into the Waterford Grand ten years ago and it has been a wonderful place for them to spend their final years in comfort and contentment. They really enjoyed living in a very nice space, using the exercise facilities, the excellent dining room and participating in activities. The staff was very kind, helpful and efficient, and the needed medical care in their last years was excellent.

I researched all of the assisted living facilities in Eugene and Springfield and spoke with many people about their experiences. After narrowing it down to my top three choices, I chose Waterford Grand, and I have been happy with that decision from day one. The staff is attentive and communicates well with both residents and family members. They consistently make sure that needs are met and that residents are comfortable and happy. During our visit, we shared a meal to experience the food firsthand, and it was wonderful. I’m happy to say the meals have continued to be very good. I can’t say enough about the caring staff at Waterford Grand. They truly care about the people who live there and show genuine compassion and kindness. They feel like family. The level of care exceeded my expectations, and everyone works hard to make you feel comfortable and safe.

My father lived at WG for three years where he really thrived Parkinson's and the onset of dementia. The staff and caregivers here are truly wonderful individuals who are dedicated to the people they assist. I highly recommend WG as a living community for elders who need daily assistance with common needs and functions. I certainly know my father loved it there.

My Dad has been a resident at Waterford Grand for nearly a year. I've found the staff to be consistently kind and very communicative with me regarding his care. They put me in contact with a primary care provider who makes in-home appointments and have recommended other in-home providers for blood draws, PT and OT. I appreciate avoiding medical facilities where he might catch an illness from another patient. We had a family dinner recently to celebrate his birthday and the food was amazing! There were 7 of us and we ordered everything on the menu plus dessert. The taste and quality was outstanding, we were all impressed!

I was born with cerebral palsy. I have had a productive and successful educational and professional career. I spent most of my adult life living independently. When my disability became too challenging to manage, I chose to move to an assisted living community. I discovered that Waterford Grand Assisted Living was an ideal fit for my unique needs. Waterford is the perfect place for me to manage the challenges of my disability. First, I have a wide circle of supportive friends. Second, the Care Associates are vital for providing help within a few minutes, and finally, the Everfit Director, Chris Parish, and the pool are essential to my long-term care. I am one of the few with a lifelong disability who can live in a place like Waterford Grand. It is an ideal community for individuals with disabilities. I stayed in the Respite Suite at Waterford Grand for two weeks following non-weight bearing surgery. My experience was excellent. The attendants on all three shifts are uniformly upbeat, empathetic, professional and friendly, while being respectful of client boundaries. The dining options are varied, tasty, and offer several entrees at each meal. I found the other residents to be friendly and interesting. The physical layout is clean, quiet and updated. I would recommend this facility for assisting my recovery from surgery.

My Mom lived at Waterford Grand for 11 months before her death. She moved in after the death of my Dad. My parents were married nearly 70 years, so it wasn’t a complete surprise when her health took a downturn after his passing But it did mean scrambling to find her the help she needed when her independent living community told her she needed to move. What we found at Waterford was a beautiful apartment with a great view of the river. Mom and I spent many warm afternoons on her balcony watching the birds. But more importantly, we found wonderful care. The staff treated Mom with dignity, great care and respect. From the housekeeping staff to the nursing personnel, everyone was truly wonderful. Mom left us on December 5. I am comforted knowing how well cared for she was in her last year.

Mom, need a place for respite, too recover from a back injury. She was in a lot of pain. They didn't have a respite room available, within 24hrs they had a furnished room set up for her. My wife also witnessed the med tech being compassionate, asking for permission, and communicate well before each task. The food was outstanding. After they're great care mom is going home after 2 weeks.

Nothing but amazing things to say about Waterford Grand. My mom had a severe head injury and wasn't able to go home but needed to leave the hospital. Lots of moving parts and emotions for myself and family and the need to find and have a spot for my mom in a short amount of time in Assisted Living/Respite care seemed daunting. Apryl and Tonya and their team were truly amazing. Every single person that my mom had any interactions with were so welcoming and inviting and made her feel at home. I would love to thank everyone by name but don't want to miss anyone so to the entire Waterford Grand team THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking such good care of my mom. The fellow residents led by Barbara were also incredibly welcoming so much so that now my mom has returned home she will be going back to see her new friends. So much to do, activities (BINGO Night was fun, our family played) wonderful peaceful setting and lots of great food to choose from. If the time for assisted comes again one day we know where we will be going back to. 5 star people at Waterford makes all the difference. Everyone was also so good to my moms little dog, I think Lilli misses all the people and action. At such a tough time for us all Waterford made things easy and gave my mom a truly special place to take her time to recover. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was afforded the opportunity to really shop around for a memory care community for an out of state family member. I kept coming back to the Waterford Grand. The staff truly cares about the residents and they seem to love working there. They have always been responsive to our questions and needs. My mother has been at Waterford Grand for over a year. She loves it! I've been so impressed by the caring, competent staff; they are wonderful to Mom and our family. The food is phenomenally GOOD for a facility of this size. I love to come and have meals with Mom; the view is spectacular and it's like dining in a fine restaurant. The restaurant staff are great! The place is beautifully designed and decorated, clean and well-managed. I highly recommend Waterford Grand for your loved one or for yourself.

We moved our 88 year old mother to Waterford Grand last June because she had lost weight and was not eating well along with the problem of living in a 2 story condo. Steve was wonderful in meeting our needs with the move and making it a smooth transition. She gained weight almost immediately by eating 3 good meals a day. The family regularly joins her for special occasions and regular meals and we can vouch for how great the food is along with the wonderful servers in a beautiful setting! Our mother actively participates in exercise classes with Don and she fills her day with the many activities that are offered. Bingo and art classes like Tracing Memories are her favorites along with the outings that are offered to museums, scenic drives and other fun places. She enrolled in the Illuminations program several months ago and Terri has been amazing in her support and care of our mother. Additional activities are planned for this small group and they have developed a special bond. Probably the greatest asset of Waterford Grand in Eugene is the people.....the staff and the residents for the most part are very caring, nice and fun! Our family is very happy that we found such an amazing place for our mother.

We love Waterford Grand. Our mother went there six weeks ago (a bit reluctant to leave her home, as is true for many elderly parents, but it really was necessary) after my sister and I visited a number of facilities. Waterford Grand was by far our first choice. The staff was welcoming and very helpful - as well as very professional. The setting is absolutely beautiful and we found the cost to be pretty much in line with our other top two selections in the area. The atmosphere there is excellent. After six weeks our mother is very happy there. We are extremely pleased with Waterford Grand and feel very fortunate to have found such a great home for our mother.
