Trustwell Living is absolutely an outstanding community with an incredible kitchen staff led by Chef Jazper. The food is delicious everyday, not just on special occasions. I’m very impressed by how well prepared, and thoughtfully presented every meal is. You can truly tell that Chef Jazper puts care, thought, and creativity into the cooking for the residents. Chef Jazper’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail for residents’ preferences is so reassuring to see and makes the dining experience feel welcoming. There are lots of places with top notch staff, but Trustwell Living seems to go beyond by hiring talented and dedicated kitchen staff led by an incredible chef. She is an incredible asset to the community!

My dear mother of 92 years, Rosina, needed assisted living after suffering a perforated colon and other complications. The initial points of care were high and I was charged over $11,000 dollars for the first month which included a room fee of $2500 for a room that was poorly cleaned and needing attention. As Rosina improved, I requested a reevaluation to lower her fee’s (because she needed far less staff help) but unfortunately the staff RN quit without notice and the evaluation was delayed. I paid the next full month with no points reduction, to which, she and I were clearly entitled according to the staff. I was assured that the over payment of 2500+ dollars would be returned to me in a timely fashion this discussion occurred during the third week of JULY, shortly after Rosina passed away. It is now December and after calling weekly I have not received any payment. The check is in the mail has been Trustwell’s response. I paid them in good faith, [language removed] is what I have received. Trustwell has no reason for withholding what I am owed. Trustwell doesn’t fulfill their commitments or live up to their name. A good friend and caregiver for my mother was in Rosina’s room when an intoxicated medtec tried dispensing medication to my mother and he could not answer basic questions about what he was dispensing. Sherri ran him out of the room and reported him to the staff, he was eventually sent home. I have to live with the memories of placing my mother in this place and subjecting her to this in her last days. I will always regret my decision to place her in Trustwell’s care. Please choose better for your loved ones.

I recently helped my neighbor find an assisted living apartment in Eugene, OR. We were referred to River Run Place by her hairdresser, who has a salon there. My neighbor really liked it on her first tour and was ready to move in. However, she had not looked at any other places and decided she should do that first. After tours at a few other assisted living apartments, she chose Trustwell River Run Place. Last week, I helped her move in, along with some other people. She is really happy with everything! In six years of knowing her, I have not known her happy like this! And when I asked her today, "Do you miss anything about your old home?", she replied, "Well, I can't think of anything." She said she should have done it sooner. Thank you to the management and staff for your kindness and accommodation of her life-changing move, and for making her feel at home.

My wife Molly and I have been looking for the perfect place for mom when the time comes (And that time is approaching quickly) We have looked at some decent places all the way down to a couple of complete dumpster fires. A friend of ours, hearing of our frustration Recommended that we get a hold of Josh Koop Trustwell Living at River Run Place. From the minute we walked through the door and were greeted by Josh we could tell that this place was different. Josh explained that they had recently gone through a remodel and you could tell because the place is absolutely gorgeous, tastefully decorated and comfortable looking. The residents all seemed happy and friendly and well cared for. What was missing was the feeling of doom and gloom and death. The rooms are large and extremely clean as was the whole facility, The dining room is large and comfortable and very impressive. Activities were happening all around us and you could tell that the staff really did care about the residents. This was clearly the most professional group from Josh all the way down and we are relieved to have the burden of finding a place to take mom when she’s ready here in the next few months . If you haven’t checked out trust well living then give Josh Koop a call and set up a time to go look at the facilities because you won’t have to look any further

Extremely high turnover rate of employees. Lackadaisical response to residents' concerns regarding adequate staffing for safety. Current remodeling being done., residents were promised in writing that there would be no work done at night. The painters were excellent and careful and worked during the day., Now the flooring is being done at evening and nights despite a promise that this would not happen. Residents sleep greatly disturbed. Would move my family member but they refuse. Facility has gone downhill in last several years,

Trying to find the right place for my dad was a daunting task. We toured lots of places that were all nice but River Run Place stood out to us as the only location that offered a personalized, comfortable, quiet, courteous approach. They answered all of our questions throughout the process and what really stuck out to us was their great communication. I could call or text and someone was always available during the move-in process. It's been just a couple of weeks since he got there and while moving to Assisted Living can have its challenges for anyone, they have gone above and beyond in their attention to my dad and his needs. On the first night there he wanted something different on the menu and they whipped it up for him. I've been impressed with how they handle every nuance of his needs and wishes and am very thankful we found this place! Thanks Josh, Chad & Team for helping our family!

Nice place, the prices like most places seem to be creeping up every other month. Love the staff, the food is good Mon-Fri, weekends seem like another story. It doesn't have that smell like most places. It's clean and maintained. The bathroom sliding pocket doors are too heavy to slide open and closed. I felt like my mom is getting what she needs. Do your homework when deciding what's best for your family.

I would recommend River Run Assisted Living to anyone looking for a smaller community with a caring staff. My mother lived at River Run for a year until her passing. They have the utmost care and compassion for their residents. The food is good and the facility is clean. It's easy for residents to get around the building and it is all on 1 level with no elevators or stairs. It is decorated nice for holidays and special occasions. The courtyard is beautiful. I must compliment the Management- Tonya went above and beyond as my mother's dementia progressed. The nurses and care staff were amazing and always available for her and us the family also for updates on her condition. The activities director, Sharon was always so upbeat and positive and always had a fun activity going on or in the works. Their rates are fair and a good value. I cannot thank them enough and will be forever grateful for all they did to take care of Mom. Teri Armes

My mom moved into River Run at a time when she was in hospice care but we expected her to live some months. To our surprise, she declined very quickly and then passed away. This was hard for the staff because they barely knew her and her needs went from assistance to end of life over a very short time. Throughout, the staff was caring, professional, attentive, welcoming to the family, and communicated well with hospice. All were great but the family felt a special connection with Ruby. Thank you River Run.

River Run Place did a phenomenal job taking care of our mother. She lived there for almost two years, and she was treated with respect throughout her time by the staff. They treated her compassionately and built a strong relationship with her during her time there. They accommodated her eating needs. They answered questions efficiently and effectively, whether on the phone or in person. They were precise with her medicine and adjusted when prescribed by the doctor. Although our mother was not looking forward to entering assisted-living, River Run Place was outstanding and helped make the transition a positive experience for her and our family.
