MG is a place that takes care of your family member along with members of the family. My brother and I are extremely pleased with the care our mother receives at MG. The staff is attentive, pleasant and provide topnotch care. Our mom was hesitant to move to an Assisted Living community however it truly was the best decision for all of us. My brother and I have been blessed with the attention to her care, something we no longer could provide. Thank you MG for everything you have done for our family. The peace of mind you gave us was priceless.

I recommend Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park to anyone who needs assisted living care for themselves or a family member. I cannot rate them highly enough. I wish there were more stars in the rating system. The care that my wife received at Sheldon Park was superb. Staff is professional, personable and became very possessive of her as she neared the end of her life. They spent extra time with her and lavished attention on her. Tabitha, Harry, Jackie, and many, many others, I am so grateful to you. All of you went far beyond expectations. I'll never forget you. Jennipher, Alex, Janeal, all the front office staff, you are the best. You listened to any concerns and addressed them immediately. You gave me a safe place to talk, the door was always open. There are times in life when you connect with people who sincerely care about the welfare of a beloved family member, not just because it is their job, but because that is who they are. This was one of those times, and that care made a difficult time for me a little easier. Whatever your concerns, the wonderful staff at Sheldon Park will be there for you.

This is such a beautiful community! I toured as part of my job as a placement director. The assisted Living was beautiful and I really liked the memory care. The rooms were very spacious and the staff was extremely pleasant.

I am very, very happy with Sheldon Park's memory care. I have walked in at random times and have always found my mother in a good situation. Either being treated well by staff or talking to other residents. She tells me about activities she has done or excursions she has made. They transport her in a bus to her appointments. Everyone I have dealt with has been helpful. Sometimes when I come in a staff member notices me and often knows where my mother is! It's a bit of a drive for me to get to North Eugene, but very worth it. I doubt there is a better place in town.

We moved my 97 year old Dad into Sheldon Park from his independent living situation at Willamette Oaks after a fall. We wanted to maintain as much of the environment he had at Willamette Oaks as possible. We have been nothing but pleased with every aspect of his care. A move-in coordinator was assigned to us and stayed with us for the first few weeks until Dad felt comfortable with how things were going. He has a very nice garden apartment that he enjoys very much. Dad has all of his mental faculties so it was important that people treat him as such and that has been the case. The medical staff and caregivers have all been wonderful and he has liked everyone who has come to assist him. You can always give feedback anytime that is listened to and acted upon and the regularly scheduled care conferences pick up any changes that might need to be made that may have been overlooked. Moving to assisted living is a very hard decision to make and the transition can be very stressful. Thats why we did our research on the options available in Eugene. Our choice of Sheldon Park was a good one and I would very comfortably recommend them for your loved one.

I couldnt be happier with Sheldon Park for the care of my Grandma! Everything about the facility is top notch! The smiling employees at the front door make you feel right at home. The facility is well taken care of with the cleanest amenities. The staff is so caring and provides the best personalized care. I have participated in the fun daily activities and it is truly a joy to see all the residents having fun and engaging with one another! I enjoy visiting during meal times every meal is delicious with such variety! It is so comforting knowing that my Grandma is in the best hands, gets great care and loves her home! I have had the pleasure of seeing Sheldon Park Senior living facility in person. I have always seen a heart warming smile and a sincere greeting when walking through the door at Sheldon Park Senior living. You feel that instant warmth from residents and staff alike. The beautiful decor within the facility is just as comforting as the smiles you see throughout the facility. While I have been at the facility their have always been very engaging activities of one kind or another going on with the residents and you immediately see the beneficial impact made on current residents. The resident apartments have been spacious and very well seen after. The staff and management have always treated me with such respect and knowledge and I get an immediate sense of family when speaking with them. Kudos and a generous thank you to all at Sheldon Park!

I have visited Sheldon Park as a professional and visitor over the past few years. As soon as you walk in to the community, you feel a sense of warmth and family. The residents are friendly and seem very happy. A few residents greeted me and asked me questions and made sure I was comfortable. I was impressed... It showed they took pride in their home. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Having visited several different communities, I was impressed at the longevity of not only the management staff but also many other employees that work there. Some have worked there for 17 years! Sheldon Park has several different activities to choose from providing many different options. They have an activity program for the assisted living portion, their Bridges Program, and the Memory Care program. I have never seen an activity program as extensive as theirs and truly personalized to their residents plus their activity director is one who has been there for over 15 years! The community is clean and odor free and seems well maintained. During one of my visits, I came during an event and met the chef. He made some great BBQ! And again, worked there for over 15 years. This community is top notch, they put their residents first, and clearly go above and beyond.

I have been to Sheldon Park many times, and have always been impressed. The care staff is very helpful. The residents seem happy, and the building is beautiful. The people in charge of the activities are amazing and they are always going the extra mile for the people that live there.

I recently toured Sheldon Park and was very impressed to the modern decor and cleanliness of the facility. They were in the process of doing some redecorating and the residents were having a great time watching all the work being done. The staff and caregivers showed great compassion and care for the residents. We noticed some of the staff will take some time from their busy schedule and sit and talk with the residents for a little bit just to say HI and see how they are doing. The activity department was buzzing with activity with two events going on at the same time. The residents looked as though they were all having a good time. We were invited to have lunch during our visit and found that the food was very tasty. The wait staff had fun with the residents as they took their orders and brought their meal. Made for a happy dining room.

I recently visited Sheldon Park Senior Living. I was very impressed by the warm and inviting feel of the community upon arrival. The staff was very friendly and the residents were great. I had the pleasure of meeting a few of the residents who were enjoying their time playing pool, dancing, and making crafts in the Activity Room. While touring the facility, I came upon a beautiful outdoor common area, a great Activity Room, and a SPA where the residents can receive rejuvenating treatments and get their hair done. The live in rooms were very inviting and the facility was so clean. You can tell the employees put great value in the care of their residents at Sheldon Park Senior Living.

I have been to Sheldon park assisted living on a few different occasions and have found the staff to be very tentative and helpful. The building has always appeared very clean and smells clean. I haven't tried their food there, but it smells good. I always see the residents smiling and active within the building. I will definitely look into this facility for placement of my loved one when the time comes.

One of the hardest decisions for any family to make is to send an aging parent to Assisted Living or "the home as some people call it. Our 89 year old mother was recovering from serious health issues and because of the need for trained medical care and management of medications we were unable to care for her at home. We talked about Assisted Living for a short period while she recovered and selected Sheldon Park because of the beautiful facility, incredible staff and the care available. Mom is now recovered and when asked about moving back home she tells us to move somebody else into the house because she is having too much fun at Sheldon Park. They handle her medications, do the cooking, spoil her with kindness and care and best of all give her the opportunity to choose every day what activity she is going to participate in. She has made numerous friends and enjoys visiting daily with all of therm. In fact, it is hard to ever find her in her room because she is a very happy and busy lady. Sheldon Park is an amazing place with incredible caregivers, staff and administrators. We highly recommend it!!!
