Great experience! Looking for a place for my dad but didn’t know where to start. Ruth was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She asked all the questions I didn’t know I needed to ask and referred us to some great resources to help us transition my dad from his home to an assisted living home. Highly recommend. The food is really good too!

I was impressed by Sheldon Oaks and the level of professionalism their staff displayed. From the Executive Director, Ruth, to the Community Relations Director, Sherry, everything went smoothly. They were polite and prompt with a deep level of understanding and knowledge. Chef Patrick made an excellent lunch. The bread was so good, and the chicken cordon bleu was absolutely delicious. The residents were so kind and welcoming. The entire experience could not have been better. I would highly recommend Sheldon Oaks to anyone looking for an independent living community.

I lived at Sheldon Oaks with my wife some years ago, but we had to leave to find her assisted living. I'm alone now and eager to move back when my other responsibilities allow. It's a wonderful place to live. I've had several meetings with both Ruth and Sherry, and I've found them extremely kind and helpful. They contribute to making Sheldon Oaks the warm, relaxed home that it is. Believe me, you can pay more elsewhere, but you can't get more than than you get at Sheldon Oaks. Hope to see you there.

I've been here a nearly a year and a half and have loved every minute of it. Management is kind and friendly and responsive to problems. The dining experience is wonderful. The dining staff are friendly, fun, and professional, the food diverse and excellent. Before I moved in, my apartment was completely renovated and made like new. I lack for nothing. The staff and residents are wonderful people and have become like family. Lonliness is absent. There's always someone to talk and laugh with. If you choose Sheldon Oaks, you won't be sorry.

My sister and I checked out several independent and assisted living places before we found Sheldon Oaks, or should I say Sherry. Sherry made us feel comfortable and confident that this was the place where our mother could thrive, and thrive she has!!! My mother loves Sheldon Oaks and Sherry, as it appears most of the residents do as well. She remembers everyone’s name, makes them feel welcomed and has a sincere interest and love for her job and the people she meets. She is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient in what she does. Sherry even came out to our house to go over the contract and made sure my mother’s transition into her apartment went smoothly. Her personality is perfect for her job as Community Sales Manager. If you're looking for independent living, look no further than Sheldon Oaks. It's a very nice facility, the food is well above average and boredom is not on the agenda. We've lived here for 19 months and are happy with our decision to move here. The staff is very caring and cognizant of the resident needs and requests.

If you’re considering Sheldon Oaks, ask for Sherry Matthews! She has such a genuine heart for the residents and their families. I’ve visited multiple times and have seen firsthand how much the residents adore her. They joke with her, light up when they see her, and truly trust her. She doesn’t just sign people up. She takes time to really listen to families, answer questions honestly, and help them feel confident in what can be a very emotional decision. As someone who works closely with families myself, I know how important that trust is. She treats every family the way she would want her own treated. Sheldon Oaks is lucky to have her.

I am very happy here at Sheldon Oaks. I love the way that management is running the community. It is a struggle to find anything to improve upon. The food is great. I am so pleased here. Sheldon Oaks is such a great place! My aunt has been there for over two years, and her experiences continually get better. The new director, Ruth, seems to be taking the facility to the next level with regards to physical improvements, staff training, and receiving resident feedback. She also did a great thing by promoting Liz Alexander, who everyone adores.

I never leave reviews, I’m pretty sure this is my first one on this account but Sheldon Oaks deserves one. My grandmother lives there and absolutely loves it. She’s more social now than I am! The place is warm, welcoming, and feels more like a community than a care facility. Big shoutout to Brianna, the office manager, who’s basically the glue that keeps everything running smoothly. She’s incredible. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be happy and well cared for, this is it. I can’t recommend this place enough. ™™

We moved my mom here a few months ago and she is loving it. I've met with several members of the staff when I visit her, they have been so nice. Brianna has been especially helpful. She is an absolute joy, very accommodating and gets whatever we need. You can tell she really cares about the residents and loves her job.

I came down to visit my uncle who’s been staying here for a little while now and I have to say. The team running this establishment is TOP NOTCH. I was extremely pleased with everything they did. The apartment is nice and well taken care of! I would like to send an extra thanks to the current office manager Brianna. She went out of her way to accommodate my uncle when it wasn’t her issue to begin with and we were extremely thankful and appreciative of everything she’s done for him and continues to do. I do floor coverings for this place I do not live here or know anyone that does. However I can tell you that they don't take shortcuts and they fix everything right the first time. I see things that no resident ever gets to see as I basically strip the place down to bare floors everytime we do a replacement floor and this place doesn't ever tell me to just lay the floor like so many others do. They pay what it cost to do it right and I respect that.
