I worked for this company a long while back. It was a good experience that I still work by the training Heather provided me in 2000 when I started this field. Now I work in a private home for one gentleman of two in their own home, been here over two years and of course their needs have changed. We worked hard to get some help in here for the other gentleman and we're so fortunate that Addus was assigned to him. I must say our original caregiver and bath aide have moved on but the subs and new workers we have received are amazing, both as caregivers and just plain good people , that's rare in this industry. Every single one has been well trained, competent and thorough in anything we ask of them, they are obviously well screened, professionals and I wouldn't think twice about referring them to anyone. A consistent reliable choice.

I was with this company 5 years after I had medical issues come up. They were all very respectful kind and professional to both myself and clients. I'd return in a heartbeat —

I had two different young workers. They were kind, thoughtful, helpful and made me smile. No problems!

The homecare provider I know through this company is incredible - he has about 10 years experience, is serious about being the best at his job that he can be, and his willingness to serve at any moment is astounding. However, I am frustrated with this company. On the rare occasions that he is unavailable to work, the subs who are assigned or sign up to take his place rarely show. I appreciate that Addus is under-staffed, so replacing the replacement should they duck out is probably nigh unto impossible, but I would still like to see something be done for the unreliability and accountability of their staff. It is obnoxious, and leaves this clients' family stranded. Please do something about this, Addus! The whole reason this homecare provider doesn't work for himself is probably so he can reasonably rely on the company to help fill the (albeit incredibly infrequent) holes in his schedule!
