Being in an assisted living facility can be a very scary and new thing for many residents, and I believe Cascades of Bend does the best at being there for their residents. I work there for a year and I made amazing friends out of my coworkers, grew to build life long connections with the residents I cared for and learned how to be a great caregiver. The people who work here have huge hearts and lots of love and compassion for the residents they help on the regular whether it be housekeeping duties for them or ultimately assisting them with their daily activities. They provide daily activities like exercise, bingo, and creative coloring to list a few. Despite changing jobs, I think about this one on a regular and definitely miss the work here.

Not a place that I would recommend for complete care. Was told that would be so and it was not. Myself and my mother had to be there everyday. Usually twice a day. The food was awful! Just awful. Shame on them for allowing this. Kettle chips with multiple meals a week. 90% of elderly have dentures. Fact. 60+ in the facility have some sort of dementia. So when your loved one doesn't understand the menu and won't eat fish ( let's say that) they don't care. Family must be there to check on diet everyday. Yes everyday. Can't have coconut? Oh well. Don't ask for help. They won't. The answer is call the paramedics. Let's waist there time to literally reach out a hand. It was a bad experience. The person in charge seems to be on vacation more then she works. Was told it would all be assisted years ago. Let me tell you it is not. So if you love the person who needs extra help this is not the place. I can say this ... the front desk has been a delight. They understand . They can only pass on information but it will not change. Shame on Jamie. Shame on her! You will get the delight in meeting her if you will choose to to leave you love one there. Talk is cheap. This place is not. Or her salary.

We helped a friend move here, very nice senior living place, and found the staff to be unfailingly helpful and cheerful. They've done an excellent job of seeing that the residents stay healthy during the Covid times. Highly recommended.

I had the privilege of working alongside Cascades of Bend staff in my previous job, and could not be more impressed with their level of care and commitment to the residents they serve. They provide quality care, a friendly environment, and fun activities. I would absolutely recommend this community to those looking to live in a care setting.

This is a wonderful facility! The residents are amazing and the care that is provided is done at the highest level of experience with compassion & understanding. The chef's prepare mouth watering dishes and there are fun activities for the residents to participate in! Cascades Of Bend deserves FIVE BIG STARS & I'd refer this place to anyone!

Residents are amazing people, and the staff is doing their best, very poorly managed so I would not reccomend seeking employment. High turnover rate and they pay less than fast food restaurants.

Cascades of Bend is a wonderful place to work and live. I enjoy coming to work because our residents are very dear, and our loving and caring team members work well together as a cohesive unit.
