I've lived here for over 5 years. I am happy here. I have always been treated respectively. I love all the staff from management to the kitchen staff. The meals for the most part are excellent.

The staff here are very helpful and friendly. The apartments are nice and housekeeping, cleans the apartment once every week. Edgewood feeds us three times a day. There are Activities to do if you want to do them. There are lots of friendly people here. The Edgewood Downs is a great place to live!

Without naming all the great things about living here, I'll just say that I enjoy it. Every day. OK, I'll name a couple of reasons: *A wonderful staff, caring and giving people. *Great food! *Frequent entertainment. *A well-kept environment - appreciable by this retired engineer. *Where the anwer's always 'Yes'. As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, I'm in senior communities around the Portland area all the time. Tom Garlock, the Community Sales Manager, invited me over to take a tour and meet some of the staff. Some of the things I look for are smiles. Are the residents happy? I also look at the staff and how they interact with the residents. Can I tell if they care about seniors? How's the food? Is it good? Well, Edgewood Downs gets a big YES to those questions and checks all the boxes for me. I highly recommend this community! They care about seniors!

I can NOT begin to tell you how amazing this facility is ! Tom Garlock the sales manager is not only charming he is well informed, understands the facility and its offerings, and is available for questions and touring, I was offered lunch and invited to events. He made me feel like this was " the place " to be ! He is more than a asset to this company !!!

This place is amazing! The staff is very alert of our surroundings and our well-being. Compassion and respect for each other is evident. Meals 3 times a days, many activities to choose from, places to go. The atmosphere very pleasant, clean, yards are well groomed. Entertainment is scheduled, with local talent, delightful. I would recommend Edgewood Downs to anyone.

My father-in-law moved there several months ago. His space is incredible and I keep saying I'm going to move in with him. The setting is terrific and the amount of amenities is impressive. He had been in another retirement community previously and you can't even compare. Edgewood down is better in every possible way.

My father, Frank Dalton, was a resident at Edgewood Downs from September 2017 until his recent passing. He loved staying there and the staff are exceptional. Plenty of activities and delicious meals. They treat all the residents with care and respect.

Great place for family and friends. What a resource for the community. Staff is very well organized and the residents are a gem.

The carpets are usually dirty, stains aren't taken out. After the renovations the artwork was not replaced. The floors are very uneven. The cosmetics are poor which taints the overall opinion.
