I like this place! I have been here for 4 years! Melissa's life enrichment director does an incredible job with activities. All the staff and the management team are so supportive and amazing here. If you're looking for a place that accepts you fully for who you are, this is the place for you.

It’s been a great place for my mother, she was treated with dignity and respect to her last day. I live in the independent cottages so I don’t receive direct care until I come in for meals and join in on activities. Over all the Food is pleasant. The care staff from what I have experienced has been great, the staff treat the residents like family. The residents also treat each other like family and it’s easy to make friends here. Too easy. If you’re looking for a place for your loved one, highly consider Edgewood point.

I would love to share how comfortable I have felt living in the community at Edgewood. In addition, the staff at Edgewood are tremendously helpful. My friend steward mentioned when he came into edgewood his experience with the community was that along the path to my apartment, every resident that had asked for help or pressed their call assistant pendant was helped/answered right away and to him that was so comforting. The staff is so happy, laughing and smiling all the time and I believe that’s very important for the residents that live here, it offers a feeling of joy and brings up the stamina and quality of life in us that may forget to appreciate the little things. In conclusion I’m so blessed I’ve found this place, I think about this every single day, when I walked in, I thought to myself, it’s not to fancy, it’s just perfect for my husband and I. Highly recommends!

I enjoy my life at EdgeWood I have been here 8 years and there is always a lot of fun things to do, outings, entertainment and so much more. I would love to recognize a few people; The cooks, I really enjoy the food here, Kayla the receptionist/admin assistant is great at multitasking and helps every single person with whatever they need, she goes above and beyond if you ask me. Every care staff who works here really cares and takes excellent care of all of us who live here. The staff are always smiling, willing to lend a helping hand at any cost with safety in mind. Although no one is perfect they alway thrive to do better and are open to any critique or suggestions the residents here might have. I couldn’t have picked a better place to live.

If you’re looking for a great place for your loved one this is a splendid place to be. I’ve lived here for almost 20 years. The cottages are where we started, those are lovely for independent living. Over all I’ve had a wonderful living experience her, made a lot of friends, unforgettable trips with activities, the staff really do love the residents like family and treat them with dignity and respect. The Longevity of the staff makes it extra special because it's created consistency. Is elderly need that for quality of life.

Since nothing is 100% perfect, this place has exceeded what I thought I would expect. The food is prepared quite nicely, but every now and then there will be a clanger. Not enough to make me change my mind lots of activities created by Malisa, including bingo, which is my favorite. Outside shopping opportunities once or twice a month via the bus provided here at Edgewood Point. Good air-conditioning in each individual room.Housekeeping is above average. The staff is always willing to help out whether they be at the front desk or caregiver. If a resident is unable to reach the dining room for any of their meals, then the food will be brought to them. Free Wi-Fi. DirecTV is provided. Streaming services are not. I have lived here for nearly 3 years and found this to be a not only a friendly environment, but it’s a safe environment. Building maintenance is very good. $ 3,000, 000 renovation 2 years ago included a new roof for the entire facility, including the memory care.

Edgewood Point is a remarkable place to live. It meets all the requirements one would need in an assistanted living community. The staff is superior and provides top notch service at any time day or night. The staff has a rare remarkable quality in that they treat you so much like family. The cuisine is top tier and provides a wide variety of tasty meals with nutritious value. Desserts and other snack food highlights the joy of eating at Edgewood. I would like to emphasize on the professional entertainment that they provide here at Edgewood on a weekly basis and how it brings the quality of life from a standard to immeasurable, ranging from old time, standard classics or contemporary. When it comes to the musical entertainment, NOT to exclude the variety of all other life uplifting activities. All and all living at Edgewood point is a pleasurable experience.

I’ve lived here for 3years just about. The staff here are incredible. The food is magnificent. Aside from the family I was blessed with, I’ve met a lot of new friends and if I could sum it all up I feel as though, I’ve acquired a whole new beautiful family too. I have to say Kayla & Ellen are exceptional in every way, so thoughtful and caring and they always make sure if I am in need of anything that it’s taken care of. The entire staff is very accommodating. So blessed to have found such a beautiful welcoming home.

My Mom has been a resident at Edgewood Point for almost a year now and our family has been so grateful for the care and kindness shown toward her since day one from all the staff. The one downfall is there is only one elevator, so if there is a problem the residents on the second floor don’t have any options to get down to the dining room or other activities if they use a walker or wheelchair.

My mom moved into Edgewood Point nine months ago, having spent a couple weeks in rehab after a fall. Her physical and cognitive condition improved significantly in the first month, and has remained strong. I like that Edgewood Point is a relatively small community, and the staff takes time to get to know each resident. The building is kept clean and well-maintained. As a family member, I always feel welcome at Edgewood Point, and all of my questions have been answered promptly. My mom has enjoyed a wide range of activities, and is able to make suggestions for dining room menus. I feel fortunate to have found an assisted living center with such a consistently caring staff. From the office staff to the caregivers, dining room,housekeeping,and maintenance employees, every interaction feels kind.

I’ve lived at Edgewood for 2years and 6months. The Edgewood facility has very friendly and caring staff and management. There are opportunities for group exercise, to spend time out doors, and participation in various activities. Example: There’s a resident book club, Indoor movies, a variety of games, a couple raised garden beds that the residents have created, flowers, fruits and veggies. It’s not unusual for birthdays and holidays to be celebrated. Last but certainly not least entertainment is frequent and extremely appreciated.

It took me a little while to adjust to an assisted living home. I thought the less I asked for help, the more I’d be accepted by staff and other residents (don’t know why I felt that way). I tried to hide my needs. But after a short while I realized that everyone here supports one another. There is a strong sense of community here and I treasure that. It’s a good sized facility for getting to know one another - big enough to offer a variety of activities (I play bridge, belong to the book club,, and go on group outings by the bus that Edgewood Point owns). But it’s still small enough to promote close relationships with residents and caregivers. After going off-site with family and friends, I’m glad to come home again to Edgewood Point!

We are coming up on one year of my mom living here. We are so blessed to have found such a dedicated and caring staff. Everyone is so genuine, and committed to providing the best care possible. Even with covid protocols still in place, along with a labor shortage of health care workers, they show up everyday with a smile on their face ready to tackle the complex job of caring for aging adults with a variety of health issues. The activities are fun and engaging, there is a variety of good food available at every meal, and the residents seem happy and healthy. The facility itself is clean and well cared for, and provides a homey environment with lots of sitting areas, and green space that is well manicured. It's a truly special place for mom or dad.

Not once but twice, Edgewood Point went above and beyond to accommodate my parents. Staff have been caring and worked hard to meet my parents needs, and they included me in my father’s plan of care. It feels like family.

We've been looking for a place for our father and over the past month or more and thought Edgewood Point would be the prefect place. Unfortunately, in the end, by no fault of their own, they could not provide some of the specific care that my father needed, so we will need to look elsewhere. Nonetheless, I wanted to let folks know that the customer services we received from Matt was excellent. He communicated regularly, was very personable, and made sure we had the info we needed to help us find a home for our father. We never felt that we were being given a sales job, etc. When it was determined that this wouldn't work out for our father, he provided a list of other possibilities to help make our search going forward easier.

It was an eye opener. It is so beautiful and the staff are so friendly and caring. It felt like being in a palace. My current living place is night and Edgewood point is day. I tell everyone to go there. I'm telling staff to go there and work. I'd reccomend it for anyone who is searching for an assisted living.

I will start by saying that this review is just for my customer service experience over the phone with the sales/admin person for this corporation. I called here to see if they had any openings for my Grampa. Although they were not the right type of facility for him based on their level of care, the sales/admin guy I spoke to was incredibly professional, had impressive job knowledge, and stayed on the phone to share several helpful details about locating the right type of facility. He answered all of my questions and provided me with a few referrals. He was kind, caring, professional and really impressed me. I typically find that people in these roles just answering the phone can be rude or come off as lazy so I was really impressed after this experience.
