Timberwood Court Memory Care looks like a very well cared for and welcoming community. The building feels clean, calm, and thoughtfully set up for residents. Faith in the office was especially kind and helpful when I stopped by, even though she was clearly busy. She took a moment to chat and point me in the right direction, which I really appreciated.

I recently toured Timberwood Memory Care in Albany and had such a great experience. From the moment I walked in, the environment felt warm, welcoming, and peaceful. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the care they provide. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents and go above and beyond to create a safe, engaging, and supportive atmosphere. The facility was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed for memory care needs. I was very impressed with the level of compassion and professionalism I saw during my visit. It’s a beautiful place that families can feel confident trusting with their loved ones.

It is difficult to turn over the care of a loved one to others, but the folks at Timberwood Court Memory Care made it possible and helped us feel good about the life our loved one is having now. She has an apartment big enough for her to have her sleeping area and a conversation area. Her room has a very large window that looks out onto a beautiful courtyard. The courtyard has a wide sidewalk for residents to walk and enjoy the all the plants and flowers while still being safe within the facility. The director is very responsive to concerns and the whole management team has the residents best interest at heart. They decorate and celebrate every holiday, and even, fun, smaller events like the Kentucky Derby. There is a Happy Hour every Friday! Care taking is a demanding job. Many of the medical technicians and care partners who provide the hands-on care to residents go above their required duties and treat residents with a special level of compassion, respect, and dignity. We are so grateful for the ones who have a heart for doing this work for our loved one and the other residents.

Caretaking is VERY difficult. I know because I've cared for my mother at home for a few years before taking her to TCMC 4 months ago. They have been very helpful from the admittance process up to now. The office staff are always friendly! The nurse is always updating me on my mother's medical status, and even call me at home sometime. The caretakers are friendly and always willing to help me with my requests in regards to my mother. Considering the number of residents they have and the difficulties face when caring for All of them, everyone there are very accommodating and caring! My mother is thriving there which gives me peace. She's coming off Hospice today! Please visit your Loved Ones often!

I waited 4 months to get my husband into Timberwood. We went from one from hell to having such wonderful people. My husband had some wonderful caregivers and med techs that really cared about him as a human and not a number. The front staff from George on down make you feel welcomed and comfortable. I’d recommend Timberwood in a heartbeat.

I have been overwhelmingly impressed with the staff here. My friend moved in about two months ago and they have been so patient and warm to him. He easily gets off track and upset and they are able to redirect him. He tells me every time I talk to him that everyone is so nice. I know he is always taken care of.

My friend has been at TCMC for 9 months. All of her care has been exemplary !~! The relaxed atmosphere has brought peace and safety to my friend, the 2 MOST important things friend needed.
