My parents lived at the Ravines for the past 4 years. I can't say enough great things about the staff and the amazing care they take of your loved one. The memory care floor has staff that really care and they are so good at what they do they are like family. It's the caring people at the Ravines that make this place so special

I have read an article about the terrible rent increase this place has imposed on seniors already living here. Thousand of dollars on the rent of seniors, some seniors had to move quickly, some are fighting. How can you raise the rent 1, 2, 3 thousand dollar on seniors, you should be ashamed. Just beware that your rent can be increased by these people.

My thanks to Moona and Yoda for their excellent help as I was at the Ravines for respite care for a hip replacement. Most of my contact was with the PSW's. Management was difficult to get a hold of at times and my meals didn't always get delivered.

Sunday February 7th, 2021 was a very special day for the residents of the Ravines. Monitored by Ottawa Public Health, our first COVID-19 Moderna Vaccines were given to us by teams of uniformed Ottawa Paramedics moving through our buildings door to door in a well planned routine. They verified our names and dates of birth, explained the procedure, and gave the injections so smoothly that most of us said we didn't feel a thing! A checkup 15 minutes later was performed for each resident by a Paramedic to make sure that no possible reactions were missed. There had been significant planning by our excellent Managers and every employee worked so efficiently that we were even able to have lunch! Congratulations on a job well done! One month later on March 7th, 2021 we repeated our successful vaccination treatment with our second Moderna vaccines and the teams of Paramedics. In July, 2021 we achieved our goal of 100% of residents and 100% of staff having been vaccinated. We're proud and relieved to have to have achieved this level of safety and health protection. On September 2nd, 2021 we were given booster injections by nurses from the Ottawa Health Department. Our General Manager, Sam Sourchi, and all the staff planned and organized and followed up so that everything went smoothly. Heather Keatley, Ravines Seniors' Suites Residents' Council.

My parents were residents of the Ravines Seniors' Suites and then the Retirement Residence from 2014 to 2021. The staff and management were caring, friendly and helpful. At times when my parents required additional assistance, staff was there to help and then followed-up to make sure that everything was okay. Sam Sourchi, the General Manager, is a skilled and proficient manager, who was able to resolve issues which at times felt impossible to resolve. The facilities are pleasant, clean and safe. This is definitely a nice place to live.

After the sale of our house in twenty four hours, Ravines winter stay offer allowed us to move quickly and experience Senior Retirement living which has been most enjoyable. Fine dining, exercises classes, pool, daily events and excellent staff have made all aspects of this life style change more than exceed our expectations. Retirement living is like being on a cruise ship without the ocean!

My husband and I moved into the Ravines II on January 1, 2019. Melissa gave us a wonderful tour of the building late in the fall. We had looked at several residences before the Ravines and after our tour was over we were exceedingly happy to sign on the dotted line. The staff here are wonderful. The residents are happy, friendly and motivated. There are many things to occupy one's time - the pool and hot tub, an attached room with all the exercise equipment one would need and several types of chair or standing exercises given by professional teachers. There are frequent outings on the bus and the food at the Ravines is excellent. We have been very happy with our choice of residence and the extremely friendly and professional atmosphere. We very highly recommend this senior's residence.

My mother has been a resident at the Ravines on the 2nd floor for the past 7 years. She suffers from Dementia. Her care has been excellent. The management has been responsive and kind. PSW's Sandra, Patrick and Steve are an asset to their profession.

I have been to three retirement homes and for me the quality of life at The Ravines is high. I like using the pool, the gym, the exercises are fantastic, and the dining room is neat and clean. I would recommend living here to anyone.
