As the owner of a senior moving and transition company, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many retirement residences, and our experience with this community has been excellent. In particular, working with Nathalie from Grace Hill was a pleasure. She is professional, highly knowledgeable, and a strong advocate for the residents and their families. She worked closely with us and the family to ensure the move was as seamless and stress-free as possible. Every staff member we encountered and had the pleasure of speaking with was kind, welcoming, and helpful. The team is also very knowledgeable and experienced in supporting seniors who require memory care, which brings great peace of mind to families. We truly value the collaboration and would confidently recommend this residence.

My mother has been at the Forest Valley residence since September 2024. We are very pleased with the amazing care and attention she receives. She repeatedly tells us that she is happy, she loves the staff and, despite her dementia, refers to the residence as her home where she loves to walk. We were told that my mother would thrive at Forest Valley. It only took a few weeks for us to see the positive change in my mother. We attribute this to the great staff and care at Forest Valley.

My Dad has been at Forest Valley Terrace for over 2 years. The adjustment was difficult at first. However, the staff was wonderful at making him feel at home. Everyone that works there is understanding, hard working and dedicated. I am thankful that it is a safe and loving place for those suffering from dementia. The food is really good and family is welcome to join their loved ones for meals. There are many activities, some outings which are always welcome. Family members are always invited to join in. I am especially appreciative of the communication from the Director of Care when there is an issue. I would highly recommend Forest Valley to anyone looking for a safe haven for any loved one with dementia.

My aunt was in a cycling accident and after her surgery she went to Forest Valley to recover and adjust to her new normal. It was a very difficult time and she was understandably confused. Not to mention that it was also right in the middle of Covid. Forest Valley and their amazing staff did everything they could to make her feel at home and fit in. They even let her pretend she was working there in the office! 🙂 She eventually wanted to move closer to her home a few hours away, but her time spent at FV was precious and I wish we had kept her in their good hands.

Forest Valley Terrace is an incredible place! The building is a beautiful, historic gem full of charm and character. The care provided to residents is truly outstanding”the team is dedicated, compassionate, and always goes above and beyond. One of the highlights of this wonderful residence is Polly, the adorable and friendly house cat. She brings so much joy to everyone! If you’re looking for a place where your loved ones will be well cared for in a warm and welcoming environment, Forest Valley Terrace is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The staff are very helpful. My relative takes part in the activities, which are quite varied. She enjoys a friendship with another resident. I have eaten at Forest Valley with my relative and the food is good.

My husband has been a resident for only a relatively short period of time, so our experience is limited. However, I can say without any hesitation that the staff are very attentive, and loving. Their care is wonderful. Although I regret greatly the 'need' for it, I am pleased that my husband has become a resident. I am certain that Forest Valley can and will meet his increasing needs.
