This post is overdue but I literally cannot say enough about Senior Helpers. Russ and Lisa were literal lifesavers and scrambled on very short notice to arrange for 24/7 care for my Mom following a serious fall. By the time she came home from hospital in under 72 hours, everything was in place. The caregivers were so helpful and attentive making the sudden transition for my parents from independent living to sharing their home with these kind, caring ladies. The security and reassurance this provided our extended family allowed us to focus on dealing with the changes/logistics that follow such incidents while knowing that our Mom was being taken care of especially during the overnight hours. The encouragement she received to accept the home help and personal care along with all the physio and exercise needs allowed us to focus on quality time visits. There were definitely extenuating circumstances that were a challenge for all of us and Russ handled those with compassion and patience. We just could not be more grateful and would (and have) recommended Senior Helpers Mississauga to anyone in need of home help. They deliver what they promise.

Russ and his team of caregivers are a God sent….. We brought them into our parents home part-time initially to give them a little assistance and peace of mind for us. When our circumstances changed, and we needed full-time help, Russ stepped up with a care plan that met our needs 24 hours a day. Our experience with Senior Helpers Mississauga has been exemplary. Lisa and Russ Donnelly have been caring, responsive and flexible with our situation which is complicated as they were accountable for the care of Mum, Dad and Auntie Jean ( all in their mid 80s). As you would expect, issues came up constantly and Senior Helpers Mississauga were always there with a smile and solution that put the care of our elders first. The Care Providers were all wonderful individuals who really went above and beyond to ensure that our elders were provided companionship and excellent in-home care including meal preparation, hygiene, toileting, laundry all while ensuring the safety of our elders. As important, it removed the burden of care to the experts leaving us to focus on day-to-day personal interactions with Mum, Dad and Auntie Jean. Senior Helpers Mississauga has always been excellent in supporting my father in many of the basic needs, such as preparing meals, clean up, running errands and just having nice quiet conversations. They went to the next level of support when my dad had a medical issue. They arranged for him to go to the hospital and when the hospital advised that he was ready to be discharged at 11:00 pm, they were there to pick him up and ensure he got home safely. This was so much appreciated from a son who lives out of province. Thank you Senior Helpers for the great support and would highly recommend them.

Lisa and Russ were very responsive and thoughtful through all aspects of our mothers care. The health care team was very professional and caring. The caregivers that took care of our mothers care were well matched with our mother. 5 stars all aorund!

I found out about Senior Helpers over the summer when I was looking for care for my parents. They were quick to response, not pushy and allowed me time to think it over. They provided a companion who respects my families boundaries and has taken the time to build this relationship. Whenever I need something Senior Helpers is on it and will take my parents to appointments, let me know what is happening in the house that might need attending to. My biggest concern is having someone I can trust to care for my parents and will do it in the way I would - with respect and care. Senior Helpers has provided me with a peace of mind. They have truly helped ease some of the stress.

My 96year old dad had an event that caused us to need help immediately. Russ and Lisa met with us and put a workable plan in place. Since then my dad has responded in such a positive way. He looks forward to his companion coming in daily and loves his drives. He is eating full meals, taking his meds, beating Russ in cribbage and napping far less than before. Senior Helpers is an amazing company with caring, compassionate employees who are very responsive to the needs of your loved one and keep in touch with you frequently. I highly recommend them to support anyone needing it.

Senior Helpers Missisauga has been a life saving service for our family. The owner and operator, Russ, is very compassionate, hands on and responsive. The companys no contract, flexible hours and reasonable rate puts the clients first. The care workers are experienced, patient and reliable. Teresa has lifetime experience with caring with loved ones with dementia. Her compassion and good sense of humour was just what Mom needed.I would certainly recommend them for your love ones.

My mom and dad needed help around the house and I live a 90 mins away so the stress and travel was getting to us. Lisa came in and met with us and proposed a plan where a caregiver comes in 3 times a week and helps mom and dad around the house, they go shopping and to the bank, and the caregiver helps keep the house clean and safe. Senior Helpers not only helped mom and dad, they helped my wife and I. Thank you, Lisa.

Im Russ Donnelly, my wife Lisa and I own Senior Helpers. We were asked by a client, Dori Ricci, to post the review below, as she does not have access to a computer.Doris dad Wally moved into a retirement home on July 5 and had to quarantine for 14 days. Dori lived-in with her Dad and our Caregivers visited for 5 hours a day to allow her to head home, have dinner with her family, etc. Once the quarantine ended we maintained a regular visit schedule to ensure Wally made a smooth transition.Doris comments were: Good morning Russ and Lisa! We have been so happy with Dads transition into Bough Beeches and wanted to say thank you. It wouldnt have gone as smoothly as it did without Senior Helpers support. We have decided that after this week we will discontinue with the weekly visit as we feel he is settled in nicely and we feel he will be OK. This agency has been nothing but stealer!They have helped out my family beyond belief and have gone over and beyond! After many failed agencies we have finally found one that provides amazing care givers and constant care givers ! they keep an open communication with their clients and they are quick to respond to calls and messages!They always have prompt qualified staff .Its not just the staff that is hands on with the clients the owners are very involved with the clients the clients families ,you can also tell that the owners look at their staff as family and not a number ! if your looking for amazing quality care for your loved ones then hands down this is the company for you !!!Thank you so much for all your team effort and accommodations!!!! With the tragedy covid has had on retirement and long term care homes my mom decided she wanted to stay with us, but we both work. We called Seniors Helpers and Russ and Lisa came to meet with us. They were great, cared about what we and my mom wanted and but together a plan that fit within our and moms budget. Their caregivers are fantastic and it is so nice to know that someone is there for mom when we cant be, and that she is safe at home.

Lisa is amazing !!! Lisa is a very kind and caring person. She listens well and provides help as requested. She has sent caretakers to look after my mother even when given short notice.
