My Mother has been a long time resident at Camilla Gardens retirement Home .I am delighted to say that for the past 5 years now, Mom has received awesome care and attention(which she adores). I am at the residence on a regular basis and love that it feels very "homey" and "welcoming".. I know that she is being well looked after, and is being fed well and treated with the "utmost of care." For the price, you cant much better.

I have to commend Mike, the Director of this facility, for how he went above and beyond to help a very apprehensive new client with intellectual challenges feel extremely welcome and safe on her first day at this residence. He obviously put a lot of thought into selecting a perfect match for her new roommate demonstrating how much he wants the residents to enjoy their home and the people they spend their lives with. Can't wait to meet more of the staff and get to know them but those who I've met have been extremely friendly and welcoming! Our family can't thank you all enough for the peace of mind you have given us in leaving our precious family member in your care.

My mother was recently told by her doctors that she could no longer live on her own & that she is in need of assisted living. My family & myself's 1st priority was that she be in a home that felt like home. Secondly, that she be in a safe place; we all know how difficult this pandemic has been on the most vulnerable in our community. When I first visited Camilla Gardens, I had a good feeling that my mom would be at home there. A huge plus was how well they performed during this very long pandemic in keeping everyone safe. There's a feeling of happiness there; the residents care about each other & the staff care about them. They keep the residents happy with many activities; always something going on, whether it's a karaoke party, Bingo, tea party or music on the front porch on a beautiful summer afternoon & so on. It is a lovely home, newly renovated; it's located in a residential area but is also very close to shopping & restaurants. My mom was able to bring her furniture & personal belongings and we've decorated it just the way she likes. I've watched her adjust to her new environment & see the joy she's feeling. I know my mom is home now & so much happier than when she was alone. The staff at Camilla Gardens are doing an awesome job in my opinion; I am so relieved.

I really love Camilla Gardens because management and staff are happy all the time ... even in the height of the pandemic. What I like the most is that among the residents there are no groups, everyone just gets along. We all hang out together on the front porch. I love it!
