My mom has been at the Windsor for 3 weeks now and I’m amazed at the care she gets. First off this place is spotless clean. Staff are really caring and mom says the meals are excellent. We need more places like this in Kingston.

We moved my mom from An apartment. What a transition. She made many friends, loved the church service. ( was not a religious person ) and loved Eric the guitar play. Once told me if she was younger she would go for him 🙂 When she passed on so many of the friends and director came out on a special bus to say goodbye at the RMC officers mess. Mom was known as the angel lady for all the crocheting mini angles that are now on Christmas trees around the world

I have been living at the Windsor Residence since June 2015. During this period, I came to realize the extent to which the Windsor has become my home. Let me cite some of the current realities:1) great food overseen by current meetings with the kitchen chef:2) grounds all around the building inviting walks:3) outings, with use of Windsor bus, every two weeks, to see movies, plays, swimming, etc...4) live music every Friday: 5) and most envious of all realities, any member of the staff in whatever category of employment - ALL are kind, helpful, and very pleasant. Although building looks beautiful, there are a number of maintenance repairs are needed such as leaking roof into dining room. Elevator out of service frequently and more. Individual room temperature controls are so complicated, many seniors can’t control. Lobby seating only accommodates max8 people. No windows or outdoor view in dining room Dark and gloomy basement setting. Depressing

My Mother just spent six weeks in the Bayshore section of The Windsor Retirement Residence. The staff were friendly, food excellent and the care exceptional. Loved the pictures from "around the world" in the hallways. Each walk to the dining-room was a new adventure when you could view the lovely pictures. Great place to recuperate!

I recently spent sixteen days in convalescent care at the Windsor. The Windsor staff were all very friendly and nice and aimed to please no matter the concern. All staff are really hard workers from morning to night. The food in the dining room was excellent and the presentation was beautiful. The chefs out did themselves everyday. I hope this excellent service continues at the Windsor Retirement as you continue to grow. 🙂

I, and my family, are overwhelmed by the support provided by the management team and staff of The Windsor Retirement Residence. Even through some somewhat trying times, staff were, for the most part, professional, compassionate and supportive. We are very appreciative of that support. If you had known my mother when she was well, she would also have advised you of her appreciation, not only of the care provided, but also the atmosphere of The Windsor and the quality and beauty of the surroundings.

I am presently at the Windsor doing rehab for a leg injury and am thoroughly impressed with the facility. The meals are excellent with a great variety and lots of food.the staff are very friendly and willing to give you an alternative if you have a special request.
