Sadly, I need to amend this review...the administrator is the worst and they aren't taking care of the facility like they used to...the floor staff is lovely but the place gets filthier by the day and the carpets haven't been cleaned in lord knows how long. Even my son commented how it smells and filthy it has become. He is doing construction for another facility and can't believe how much better the other place is and how different Tuscany is from when we first placed our Mom there. 2 years ago Trinitee in admissions and the new administrator Diana were wonderful greeting and showing me around the facility. Diana told me she started as a CNA so she has worked multiple levels in LTC facilities which I really like. The rooms are larger than most of the facilities I visited and very clean. Also liked there is a half wall between roommates allowing for better privacy plus room for some personal touches/ furniture to make it feel more like home. The medical staff was visible in all hallways plus the residents I saw were clean and content. No one crying for help so they were being attended to in reasonable time. We were part of the patients put on 90 day notice with Fountains at Canterbury closing all it's facilities so like everyone else, in a mad rush to find a quality long term nursing care for our Mom which can be limited since she is on Medicaid. We love the location as well, in a nice neighborhood and close enough to highway systems so our family can go see her more often. Needless to say we are going to give this facility a shot and praying it works out great.

Ricci Herd, one of the managers at Tuscany Village has been very helpful in our effort to navigate Medicare and Medicaid rules for my brother, who was a patient there. She has been an excellent resource.

My daughter lived at Tuscany for several months while waiting for a major surgery . Unfortunately she had a surgery that caused complications and she died in hospital . But the wonderful people that work so hard at Tuscany made her last months very good for her . From the wonderful wound care , nursing , housekeeping and med aid staffs they were so great . She was so appreciative of them . As her mother I was there often and saw many positive interactions between the staff and patients . I could lay my head down knowing she was having fun playing games , talking with the nurses , just enjoying herself . Thank you , all of you . I wish I'd have won the lottery I'd have doled out millions . What a great place .

Ricci in the business office is amazing. Ricci is responsive, compassionate, and works hard for the residents at Tuscany. Brenda is a kind, effective, and talented nurse. She takes such good care of the patients at Tuscany. And Knight is such a thoughtful chef that really gets to know the patients there. Knight is a talented chef.

The staff worked well with me and my family caring for our father. Weekend staff weak and not has friendly has during the week. Shelby took great care of his wounds and was easy to talk with about care. Amber and Ricci helpful in working on insurance and transfer. Your building is very outdated and need of repair and update. Carpet worn, walls in need of paint. It would be helpful when people are waiting at front desk someone asks about need.
