I went to visit a friend today at Sommerset Neighborhood Assisted Living and Memory Care. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a wonderful place. Very clean, great security and friendly staff. The units are conveniently laid out for easy maneuvering by the resident.

My father will be 99 in a few weeks. He has been moved several times recently from other facilities. This is the best place he has been. He is always clean and well fed and happy here. It is obvious the staff have compassion as they attend to the residents. Thank you for caring.

We moved my mom in a little over a week ago. All of the staff have been friendly and welcoming! I had a ton of questions before and after mom moved in and Connie has been wonderful about answering all of them. My mom has to have a special diet and we are very thankful they have a very nice dietitian who takes care of that. There is a kind woman who sits at the front desk named Densie and if she is not there you have to have a code to get in, it is nice to know my mom is safe and someone will help her if needed. The other residents seem happy and well taken care of also.

My mother-in-law was in the progressive care at Sommerset due to dementia. All of the staff are wonderful. They treated her with such compassion and love. It was not just when we were there, I checked in on her via camera during evenings and night and the love and care I saw would bring me to tears. It meant so much. The house keeping, maintenance, and kitchen staff are all wonderful. The food was great. The room was always clean and maintenance was on top of things. Everything was maintained beautifully, creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment that felt like home. It brought us great comfort knowing she was surrounded by people who truly cared about her well-being. Thank you for providing such a high level of care and dignity for Lily. Your dedication made a lasting difference in her life and ours.

We visited Somerset as a potential home for a much loved relative. In the past two years I have visited several living centers/nursing homes due to the declining health of my father and father in law. I am so impressed with Somerset. I have come to Sommerset Assisted Living through agency for years. They have assisted living , assisted living where people need a little more help .. They have memory care and long term care. The idea that stands out to me is that tesidents can start in assisted living and when they can no longer do for themselves they dont have to move out, instead they change rooms . Sommerset have many loving people staffed who love them as their own . I love them as my own and I am not a core employee . Thank you for having me Jessica .

Visited a dear friend for the first time as she had just recently moved in. She states that she really likes it there. I was very impressed by the security checkin procedure for the safety of all. A couple of lady employees were very attentive and quick to help me adjust my friend’s thermostat for her. I’m sure I’ll have more to say as I continue to visit.

This place has helped my sister so much and she's only 71. I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of time and care that they give to her. She's comfortable and she's happy and at her stage of mine that's what she needs to be and they're doing great about keeping her that way. Just visited Sommerset Assisted Living, to evaluate for my father. I’m an RN who worked in Quality improvement & evaluation of geriatric patients in long term care, for quite a few years. I felt that this place is an excellent option for my dad. I give it 4 stars because I don’t feel comfortable giving five until he wouldd live there a while and I could evaluate more fully. But from what I can see on a tour - cleanliness, engagement of staff with residents and each other, and general appearance of residents, it looked excellent and did NOT send up any red flags. I just realized I probably shouldn’t post this because I don’t want to draw any competition for limited beds! I’ll cross my fingers on that one.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is way better than what I was expecting. They take pride in cleanliness. The staff advocate for their residents. They are pet friendly. I asked for special accommodations for cable and they allowed it. There are several activities for everyone. The residents are kind to each other. As the youngest resident I’m treated the same as everyone else. I would highly recommend this place for your family and loved one.

I recommend this retirement care facility to your loved ones! It has great security so they can’t go out the door, a check in for your temperature and ID so people know who you are and not sick. It is very clean there and they have a great salon.

What a beautiful and well maintained assisted living center. Every staff member, we walked past doing our tour didn’t know us from Adam spoke to us to say hello. I mean every single employee. The coordinators name was Connie. She was very helpful very polite, not pushy. Very informative. Quality of life is essential for our seniors. I believe this facility offers just that for my mother of 89 years of age.
