Let me say 1st of all I did not give 5 stars because of some things having to do with the weekend staff. The dietary staff was kind of lacking on weekends, they didn't pay attention to my wife's dietary needs and restrictions as well as they should have. She had to send back some of the meals because they were things that she could not eat. Now as for the overall experience with the facility and staff we were quite happy with the level of care she received at the facility. The Physical therapy staff were quite good at getting her back to a level of self-care and mobility. The administrative staff were very attentive to our needs and worked diligently to answer questions pertaining to her case. I would recommend this facility for those needing specialized post hospitalization care.

I came here a year ago after a short serious illness. I was in rehab for 3 months. I then moved into long term care because I was unable to take care of myself. I was a pretty hard person to get along with at first but I was well taken care of. Now it's home. I'm still well taken care of. Really no complaints and It's always clean. Thanks to Arika and Janice for the many activities that we have to keep us busy!!! And thanks for David and Michael for keeping it clean and everything working. Thanks for Adam for putting up with me and everyone else. Also thanks to all other employees!!!!!!!

My son and I had to find a place for mom. She fell and was needing skilled nursing. We looked at several places and we knew immediately that Sienna was the place. April was wonderful from beginning to end. She helped with everything! The staff was amazing. They made my mom feel so special. They were so caring but knew when to be stern.(mom didn't want to do her PT) I wouldn't hesitate to take any of my family to Sienna.

Recently had my grandma stay here for over a month. The attention and care that the whole staff gave to her was absolutely incredible! Constantly checking on her, getting her everything she needed as quickly as they could. The PT’s were amazing as well, they always had a great attitude while working with her. All the staff even helped celebrate her birthday while she was in there. Truly a great staff, that cares and looks after its residents! And a huge shout out to April, would not be in the position we were in without her.

I’m very thankful For Stacey MA Monday through Friday on the 3 to 11 shift. I know when I come in in the evening and when I leave in the evening that my loved one gets the most amazing care when she has Stacey has an aide. Stacey always has a smile on her face, willing to help me with my loved one, when I’m cleaning her up, offers any extra help that she can, and loves every single patient she takes care of. Everyone Needs a Stacey in their life when they need care for their loved ones.

My mom stayed at Sienna for six days during respite care. She has a very complicated health case which often causes the first few days in a new place to beeventful, to say the least. As caregivers and family members, we have to manage our expectations accordingly. Everyone is different and their needs vary, wildly. We can’t expect aides/techs to know everything right out of the gate. No skilled nursing home is perfect. And, we did have some bumps in the road the first 24 hours. However, Sienna was very receptive to my requests and feedback to tailor care for my mother and her needs. In spite of the fact that my mom’s stay was so short, Sienna went up and above the rest by making things easy for me, given that I was miles away. Her charge nurse was great and I was especially impressed by April, the office manager, by her compassion for my mom and her willingness to help in whatever capacity is needed! I think with any SNF, it’s unrealistic to think everything will be perfect, but what counts is when a SNF listens to you and works hard to honor your loved one and their needs. Sienna did that for us and I’m truly grateful for the serviceand the respect. Thank you!

Looks are deceiving. Sienna is a perfect picture of that phrase. We placed my mom there because it was close to home. The physical and occupational therapy is OUTSTANDING!! 20 . If you take meds do NOT go here They gave way too much blood thinner and then didn’t know how to handle the emergency of her non stop bleeding. Nursing would be better if they were staffed instead of mgmt taking advantage of ppl hard up for that nursing home pay. It’s why they get away with not backing up their staff. They throw money at them and then leave them to care for a whole facility full of our loved ones. If I could’ve taken care of her at home I would’ve. Well we gave it one more try for the physical therapy and all I can say is they Kept her alive so thank GOD for that. A family friend just pulled her husband out of there bc it’s so bad with nursing care. We were there in May and July 2022

We were looking for a place for my grandmother for both skilled nursing and long term care and have visited many places around Oklahoma City. As soon as we walked in to Sienna we were blown away. To say that it has exceeded our expectations would be an understatement! It is such a beautiful facility and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and they go above and beyond to help with any question or need. April and Brooke especially have made this transition so much better and easier than we can say. Our family was so overwhelmed with what the next steps were to get everything taken care of. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Sienna, we know that everything is going to be ok. The director, Adam, is very personable and hands on. Janice was a sweet friendly face. All of the nurses, chef, and housekeepers we’re friendly and smiling. I wish that this facility was available for VA veterans. My Grampa would have such a better quality of life in his last years. Thank you to the staff at Sienna. Our hearts are beyond grateful!

My dad had great care at Sienne! I was very apprehensive about him going to skilled care because as a speech pathologist, I’ve worked in many. My dad was treated with care and compassion. He was able to do quite a bit on his own so he didn’t have to buzz the nurses often but when he did, they met his needs. The facility is very clean and not once did I smell urine. Also, my dad enjoyed the food. Thank you for taking care of him so well!

I send this with heartfelt thanks for all the wonderful care my Dad received at Sienna. My dad came in May for rehab care. Due to rapid medical decline Dad was send home for hospice care. By June 16 home hospice care was no longer viable. Sienna was asked to take Dad for respite care. I thank the Lord we made the right decision to bring Dad there. Dad passed away June 19. I want to thank the sweet, caring, and professional care givers there. Cheryl and Russell Strickland and the rest of Bill Salmon’s family.

I do think there could be more communication between patients and medical staff regarding medications. I'm glad I chose here for therapy.

My Mother's recent stay here while not terrible could have been much better. My sister and brother in law stopped in frequently which helped keep an eye on Mom since they are very short staffed. Like every place there are some great care givers and sub-standard ones. My biggest complaint is that the head nurse threw away some of my Mom's medication we had locked in up. I called and left a message for her to call me back and explain herself and her actions. These were very expensive melds. I have heard nothing from her, therefore I'm concluding she could not be troubled. I would recommend finding a place with a more compassionate head nurse.

No one will ever take care of your family as well as you do but there are times when letting loved ones stay in their own homes or moving them in with you is just not possible. I had no desire to put my mother in a nursing home and we looked at nursing homes all the way from Shawnee to NW Oklahoma City. None of them was good enough, so I picked one and I will let time decide if I need to more her. One person complained about them not answering her phone calls “ well if you’d bother to go VISIT your family instead of calling on the weekends and after hours you might have a different opinion. Nurses can’t take care of people if they are dealing with people like you on the phones ALL the time. And I also found BITTER BETTY’S comments comical. She doesn’t have anyone staying at the facility but she didn’t like the face they came that close to her house to have a smoke break and voiced her negative opinion “ priceless. No, no-one will take care of them like you would but I have found Sienna to be a clean facility, with helpful workers (week days and weekends) that do care about the people in their care. I have not observed anything that is out of the normal, the place doesn’t smell like a bathroom and the people that can be made happy are happy. It is impossible to please some people. It is a hard decision to put loved ones in a nursing home but I haven’t found a negative attitude reflected in the workers and I pop in at all hours. Sometimes our expectations have to be adjusted to the reality of the situation. The facility is as clean as can be expected, the best one I had to choose from and the workers are helpful but people need to stop comparing it to home.
