I’ve been with first light for 6 months now and I’ve had a wonderful experience. Not only is the office staff and Tim (owner) helpful, knowledgeable, and just genuinely great people, they go above and beyond for clients and staff. I made a mistake in contracting with First Light. My wife was bedridden and incontinent. Only one of the five caregivers from First Light was a nurse who could clean her properly and position her in bed every two or three hours. That capable person came only one day. It wasn't worth $26 per hour for the others. They could go on errands, etc., but wasn't what we needed. I rate the service as high as three stars only because the persons sent couldn't be expected to do what they weren't trained for. But the owner should have advised me to look for another service. He saw my wife in bed and I told him about her condition. The "Home Care Service Details" given online are not accurate.
