Moving from a small farming community to city living was a big step. Coming to Sage Cobblestone was a great decision for me. Very well located for shopping, doctors and everything OU (campus 5 minutes away) and there is an accessible golf course within walking distance. Absolutely love my apartment and my neighbors are the best. Amenities are a big plus as well. Beautiful pool, pickle ball court, nice clubhouse and fitness centers. If checking out this facility contact Taylor, she is the best, very friendly and always ready to help! Sage Cobblestone is something you really need to check out!

We love living at Sage Cobblestone. The people are so friendly! The apartments are very comfortable, clean with ample storage. We have game times, movie night, Wine down Wednesdays, cookouts, karaoke, nights, morning coffees, a wonderful swimming pool, a cookout area, pickleball courts and gardening. This is a great place to live!

I’ve found Sage Cobblestone to be the perfect place to begin a new chapter of life as a widow. The welcoming community and supportive environment have made my transition much easier. John and Brian are always attentive and quick to respond to maintenance needs, while Amanda, Cindy and Taylor are consistently patient, approachable, and willing to help with any questions or concerns. One of the greatest blessings has been getting to know my neighbors—some of whom have become lifelong friends. Whether we’re enjoying a board game, playing billiards, or gathering for special events like Veterans Day to honor those who have served our country, there is always a sense of friendship and community. My dog, Petey, and I are truly grateful to call Sage Cobblestone… home.

I toured with Taylor. She was superb!! She was very knowledgeable and gave intellectual answers to all my questions. She offered various paths towards becoming a member of the community. I was interested in Sage Cobblestone from the very beginning of construction. I dropped in and met Cindy at the front desk.Cindy was professional and very knowledgeable of the site. No matter how many times I dropped in with another silly question I was met with friendly smiles. Needless to say I chose to move to Sage Cobblestone. I figured if the staff was this enthusiastic it has to be a great place to live. I have been here 10 days, and I can wholeheartedly endorse the units and especially the staff.

I deliver for uber eats. I come here often to deliver groceries. The atmosphere is warming . Always upbeat. And tenants are always about and friendly. And to my surprise my old apt manager Taylor now works here!! Your very lucky to have her. To know her is to love her!! Go check it out!!

I brought my mom here for a walk through as she is over 70 and looking to find a community she can thrive in. This place was definitely it! They offer Bingo nights, chili cook offs, crafts, the list goes on!! We were throughly impressed with this complex along with Miss Taylor who gave us the tour. She was knowledgeable, answered all our questions and left us feeling like we have found the right “home” for my mom!

When I come and pick up my grandma from her apartment she’s always telling me of all the fun events and friendly people she meets. It’s difficult getting her to stop yapping about either one of those things, especially when it comes to her talking about the new leasing girl, Taylor haha. She love it there so I couldn’t be happier for her.

I couldn't decide between 2 or 3 stars but ended up with 3 only because I made a dear friend during my time there. when I moved there I was 58 years old and active. I am a road cyclist, swimmer, I work full time still (from home) and have a large dog, so I am constantly walking. I thought how nice to be around people my age and actively level. what I found though is a small apt. complex half filled with people in their 80s and not active other than walking their tiny dogs around a courtyard. I understand that active means something different to each person but this was quite a shock. I was the youngest resident there. Activities at Sage mean a crafts class, free hearing aid assistance gatherings, movie nights in the onsite movie room, Medicare sessions. If this is what you need at the stage of life you are in, then this might be the place for you. The complex is in a nice neighborhood of residential homes and across the street from a 3 par golf course. so it is quiet and a great place to walk. It's not far from OU and not far from Walmart, many fast food options if that is your thing. You will need to drive for the big box stores like Target but this is not a large city so the drive is not far. OK does not have any decent grocery stores so Walmart will be your staple. the complex has been open for more than 2 years and still only 50% filled. I don't know if this is because of the price, the location or what but I find that odd. The management and ownership has already changed. It used to be owned by Sparrow Living but this location is no longer on the Sparrow website so It must have been sold. the current management is nice but has no follow through. You are told "things are in the works" anytime you ask about anything that needs to be fixed. and trust me a lot needs to be fixed there. Poor, fast and cheap construction has now developed into ongoing problems. Management tells you there is no money for things, even basic things like mulch to enhance the property or new plants...no money. the mulch that is there, or what remains of the mulch as it washes away with each rain due poor grading of the property, is the original mulch laid in 2022. any plants you see in the courtyard are all resident plants, there is simply no money coming in to fix things. Maintenance can be slow to respond, and again, there are only what...80 occupied units, what does maintenance do all day? Possibly they are fixing all of the broken things in the unoccupied units? (I now live in a huge multi building complex and maintenance not only lives on site in case of emergencies but will respond w/in 1/2 hour of you submitting a request.) The entry gates at Sage have not ever worked and I would expect at this point they just need to be removed and quit spending money to try and fix them. Put that money towards beautifying the property maybe? The units themselves are laid out nicely with an open concept and have nice appliances. The first floor units have little micro yards so can you have plants or bird feeders. my unit was near the golf course so I enjoyed being outside watching the golfers. the people are the best part of living here. Most of the residents are in their 70-80s and retired and single as their spouses have passed on. they are friendly and eager to make new friends and come from all walks of life and employments so there is vast amount of experience and stories to share. I hope this honest review helps you decide if you choose to make this place your new home.

If you are considering moving to Sage you should ask yourself the following questions: 1) Am I able to walk the long halls and go up and down stairs easily? If the answer is no, make sure you are on the first floor with an exit door and assigned parking nearby. This is very important for loading and unloading purchases and in case of an emergency. You will still need to be able to walk to pick up your USPS deliveries inside the clubhouse, 2) Do I regularly order online for delivery? If so, will I be available to meet the delivery people outside Sage’s posted business hours or be at home to give Amazon, UPS, FedEx or Instacart access to my apartment. There is no central secure place to drop off packages so if you are not here they may not be delivered. The same is true for any home health care worker that makes house calls. 3) Do I have my own transportation or am I comfortable with using Uber or Lyft? Norman’s bus system does not come south of Hwy 9. There is no transportation to doctors or stores provided by Sage. 4) Sage does not have any employees on the property 24/7. Is this important to you? I am updating this post to reflect that there was a property management change in January and things are improving. Maintenance requests are answered quickly and the things that the previous manager let deteriorate are being repaired.

I toured the property for a place for my mom and dad a few months ago. The property was beautiful, the staff was so welcoming and helpful. I frequent OU activities as an alumni, and honestly it just makes sense for them to be here. I couldn't ask for a better place to have toured, and likely the future home of my parents. If I could move in, I would! Only reason for 4 stars was because of the construction, but that is basically over from what they've told me. Either way, still a beautiful place to be!

What's not to like. Literally the only Active Adult community in the state of Oklahoma. Monthly activities abound. Great staff and neighbors. A rock throw from the OU campus. Highly recommended.
