Finding the right assisted living facility is a daunting task. It isn't something anyone does often and it is usually time constrained. From the time I made my first inquiry, I could tell Brookdale Norman was a caring, proactive team who had our best interests in mind. My mother has now lived at Brookdale Norman for nine months and she proudly calls it home. And my peace of mind is higher than it has been in years. I can't imagine a nicer assisted living facility and I also know they will care for her as her needs change which is a great relief.

Naomi, Cindy, Crystal, Staci, Iris, Michael, Tabitha, Rose, Elizabeth, and Adam all work diligently and hard to ensure utmost care and comfort for my mother. The staff at Brookdale did an outstanding job taking care of my Mother during her stay there. My Mother loved it there very much and she did have her favorites of who took care of her. But it doesn't matter who it was because everyone was so helpful, kind and willing to sit and chat for a bit. I would totally recommend Brookdale to care for your love ones.

I cannot express in words the gratitude I feel for Brookdale and it's wonderful employees. They show my mother the attention and love that I so crave for her when I can't be around. They go far above and beyond my expectations! They keep the atmosphere lit with positive energy that radiates to all who pass through the doors. They kept my mother safe during CoVid all while keeping her mind in a good place from all the negativity. They have taken calls and texts from me after hours to make sure my mom had everything she needs to feel comfortable. They keep her healthy and happy. My father moved into Brookdale in February of 2020 literally weeks before the Covid-19 shutdown. The Norman Brookdale facility took immediate steps to get residents and staff vaccinated as soon as it was available. When other senior care facilities began reporting covid deaths in their residents, Brookdale closed to the public for a number of months to protect their residents health. Tho my knowledge they have not had a single case of covid in a resident at Brookdale Norman! Now that I can visit my father in person again, they continue to check visitors for covid risk factors. Everyone who works in the facility wears a mask. I have noticed that the staff pull together and help each other routinely. I have also seen them interact with affection and physical touch in their interactions with the residents. My dad has been happy and relaxed in this setting and I am thankful for the amazing staff who are making his later years so good.

Our beautiful mother was diagnosed with rapid onset Alzheimers two years ago. We moved her to Brookdale Norman where she could get the care she needed. The community of Brookdale is always positive, loving, caring and kind. They treat our mother and every person who lives there with such love. If you find yourself looking for a community for your loved one, you wont be disappointed with Brookdale. You will be thankful and feel blessed, like we do. Brookdale Senior Living in Norman is a lovely facility, run and staffed by a stellar group of caring individuals. My disabled father lived happily and comfortably at Brookdale for almost two years, and we will forever be grateful to them for the wonderful care and kindness they showed him. During Covid with all the resultant issues, Brookdale has run a safe facility, and they came up with some great, creative ways for families to stay in contact with loved ones safely. Before Covid, residents had restaurant lunch and activity outings regularly, and even when restricted because of the virus, there are lots of fun activities in-house. I am very happy to recommend them for assisted living solutions if your family is looking for a place in central OK. By the way, my dad LOVED the food they serve!

We moved our mother to Brookdale and had no regrets and only good experiences in all areas. The facilities are clean(no urine+vinegar smell), the food is better than homecookin(Iris adds a lot of love to her meals), and the nurses and attendants are delightful, caring individuals. It was a hard decision to move her there but once we did we knew that she was in better care than we could give her. Everyone was so thoughtful and caring that the whole conflicted process became much easier than we expected. The nurses Stacy and Shelly(?) helped us go through so very hard realizations as far as our mothers abilities and needs. Naomi was always pleasantly business-like when handling the bills and Joy became our instant bestie. My review will never do Brookdale the justice that it deserves. We are so thankful that its an age-in-place facility.

The staff at Brookdale are angels! They took us in and treated us like we were one of their own. Each person knew how my mother was on any day we visited. They cared for her and guided us along the way during a very difficult time. They even made sure we were notified in time to be able to say good-bye. To whom it may concern, The family of LaVetta Peden would like to express our gratitude to all the staff at Brookdale Norman for the care they provided for LaVetta during her time there. We feel that all of you at Brookdale were very instrumental in her being able to remain in the place she looked to as home in her final days. It seems, in some instances, the professionals involved may make the decision that the residents needs exceed the guidelines of assisted living, and therefore the resident must be sent to a nursing home, but not in our experience! LaVettas family always felt secure in knowing how Brookdale was helping and providing for her, and we were all so grateful that she was able to spend her last days there, being cared for by those she loved, and who she knew returned that love. I would recommend Brookdale-Norman to anyone looking for a place for their loved one. The level of care they have given my father has far exceeded all my expectations. My dad has always been treated with so much love, compassion, and respect. The entire staff is great, but Cindy, Staci, Iris, Julie and Holly are especially amazing!!! Im so grateful I found Brookdale!

As an employee of Brookdale, I must say, I have never worked in a community that has so much love, compassion, experience and quality of life for their residents. The staff truly cares for each one of the residents and their families. I would absolutely have no hesitation in moving one of my family members here.
