I volunteer to play music for the patients at Iris Memory Care. I am there every other week. The facility is always neat and clean. The staff is incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. The patients appear content and well cared for. I always enjoy my time there and feel appreciated by patients and staff alike.

Working in healthcare, Ive learned that finding a place like Iris Memory Care is rare. It truly is a family environment filled with care, compassion, and so much love. I have never witnessed a place where so many residents are genuinely happy and smiling. All the care staff there truly provides and cares from the heart. Its an honor to witness the relationships that are formed here, the care that is provided and the love that is shown. And not just from the staff to residents, but residents to staff also. I would highly recommend Iris to anybody looking for a place where your loved one can smile, laugh, enjoy their days and be taken care of in the absolute best way. It truly is a a genuinely amazing place to work, volunteer, or live.

I would highly recommend Iris to anyone looking for a wonderful memory care. My mama lived at Iris for a year and a half. It was a difficult decision to have to place my mother in someone elses care but Iris handled it incredibly well. They listened to me and worked hard to make her comfortable. I love Iris because they kept my mom healthy and happy. They took great care of her. I have come to know several of the staff at Iris and they are incredible people. Between the FaceTimes and pictures from staff when I was unable to visit, I felt like I was able to be a part of her life daily. Seeing the tender moments and hugs from the staff to my mama warmed my heart constantly.

As a local physician who has had interaction with different facilities, Iris Memory Care stands out. The facilty is clean and well organized. The staff is caring and takes the extra step to interact with their patients and families. I would recommend this to patients who need long term care.

We moved my mom into Iris from a different facility, about a month ago. Within the first week, she was taking part in their activities, her mobility had improved and she has shown much improvement. The Med aides, the Nursing staff and DD, the director, are wonderful! And my mom has grown to love Raye, who is in charge of activities and is also an aide. It has been such a relief to not have to be there 24-7, to make sure she is getting the care she needs. Iris Memory Care of Edmond has been a God send for sure.

Iris Memory Care and their wonderful staff brought some residents and visited my Preschool class. What fun the children and residents had. Its nice to be involved with a facility that understands the importance of intergenerational programming. Its a win win for the residents and the students!! I am a Physical therapist and I love seeing patients in this facility! The Director is the best around, with unmatched employee management skills and professional-level expectations from all staff and medical personnel that have interaction with the residents. The facilitys Registered Nurse is demanding of the highest level of medical care from physicians, nurses, and therapists whom provide resident care on the premises. Caregivers are approachable and knowledgeable and are an integral part of each of the residents lives. The staff treat the residents like family and make this facility great!

My mom has done well here. We appreciate the care given by the managerial staff as well as the caregivers. They like to be involved and it shows! No place is perfect, but Iris of Edmond really tries to make things work for the residents. Thats a big plus in my book!

My dad has been at Iris for close to a year. The staff is kind, caring and compassionate. The facility is clean and the food is real good according to my dad. The other residents seems happy as well. Realizing you can no longer care for your loved one and must place them somewhere is gut wrenching. There are all sorts of feelings of guilt and sorrow that go along with it. You lose sleep worrying and crying about it. Then, you find a place like Iris Memory Care of Edmond. The care that the residents receive is excellent. So while you still have some guilt, you no longer have the worries and you can rest better at night.The administration has an open door policy. It is not unusual to find my mother just kicking back and hanging out in the administrators office. It is not unusual for the Administator to call me so my mom and I can talk to each other.The Director of Nursing also has excellent communication with the families. If there is any concern about health or medication it is not unusual for me to receive a call or text. She is a true advocate for her patientshe rest of the staff is excellent as well. They genuinely care about my loved ones well being and I often see her receive hugs and affection pats from them. They encourage her independence as much as her condition allowsSo, if you have to place your LO in someone elses care, I would recommend Iris Memory Care of Edmond.

I recently toured Iris Memory Care while looking for Memory Care for a family member. The facility was very nice, clean, all staff appeared friendly and actively working. All of the residents looked very happy! We had several other tours scheduled, but after seeing Iris we canceled those and decided on Iris!

My father is here at Iris Memory care and I have only good things to say about the staff and personal and the facilities. The staff deeply care and are very involved with all of the residents. The director and the onsite nurse provide a lot of feedback and are always available to answer questions anytime I have them. I have confidence in them and I trust them with the care of my father.

My wife was at Iris for only a few months before her passing. We , My sisters, cousins and I, would visit regularly. We could see the love the staff has for each resident. In my wifes building the residents are more advanced and several require assistance with their meals. Every meal was all hands on Deck even Sundays I would see the administrator feeding a resident.I have attended many support groups the last few years and have heard numerous Horror Stories about Memory care. Many complain they cant get a hold of the nurse or the Administrator or just cant get anyone to call them back. At Iris one of the first things they do is make sure you have all the phone numbers you need and are told to text or call any time 24-7. When we checked my wife in to Iris her life long best friend came out from California to help. The Nurse at Iris made sure she had her cell phone number and told her to make sure to text her anytime but to call if she needed an update late at night. She said a text wouldnt wake her up so a call was best. This is the kind of service we get from Iris. when we checked my wife in to Iris she wouldnt walk and couldnt hold her head up. With in days of being at Iris they had Physical therapy working with her and she was up walking again.Once Hospice elevated my wifes status to Imminent my family and I were at Iris for almost 36 hours straight. We got to experience every shift and each and every staff member was caring and kind. One thing that I didnt expect was the staff that would come by the room after their shift ended just to say good by to my wife in case she was gone before they returned to work the next day.At Iris they treated my wife like family and not just a patient

Cant begin to say enough good things about Iris Memory Care. After months of research and numerous visits to other facilities in the OKC-Edmond area, I chose Iris for the BEST Mom ever! The staff is awesome and they interact with the residents beautifully. Ray-Ray and the gang always have fun activities going on. (Best Halloween ever)!! I visit 3 to 4 evenings a week and the food is always well presented and spectacular! But, above all, my Mom has adjusted well and seems very happy. Glad I did the homework!

I help care for seniors in memory or assisted living centers in the Oklahoma City area, so I have seen my share of facilities! Iris is definitely top notch! The staff is very caring and loving to the residents. They are truly concerned about each and every resident and their familys desires and needs. I cannot say enough about all the caregivers! Its not just a job to them, they are taking care of someones loved one! The facility its self is welcoming, clean and just the right size to be able to attend to each and every person. I feel like Iris is a great choice for Memory Care!
