Ive had the privilege of being a daily therapist in this building since 2004 through a contract company. Prior to that my grandparents lived here in 2000-2001. Ive met the most amazing residents, staff and management and have Always been treated by the staff like Elmcroft family! ❤

Ive been working at the Xenia facility for over 5 years, through a contracting company. Throughout the 5 years, Ive been so impressed with how compassionate and caring the nurses and RAs are for the residents. From the kitchen staff to the cleaners, everyone truly cares about the residents and are attentive to their needs. Elmcroft of Xenia is like one big happy family!

My mother has lived in both the Senior Living and Chronicles (Memory Care) units of Elmcroft - Xenia. As you walk into the facility, you'll see their beautiful fireplace in the main gathering area. The nursing staff is wonderful (thank you Malonya & Sarah). The Senior Living side has exercise activities, crafts, trivia, devotions, Bingo and special events like a luau for example, along with events for the family at times (the food is excellent!). They also have singing groups, who come to perform for the residents. In the Memory Care unit, they offer exercises, trivia, singing fun songs (thank you Fran) and doing crafts (which they display on the walls). At times there is a movie or "golden oldies" music playing while some of the residents sing or dance to the music. Most of the time they have the TV playing the old shows like Andy Griffith. Someone will often curl the women's hair and paint their nails (thank you Shelly). If a family member is visiting, they can take their loved one to any of the activities on the other side as long as they stay with them. The staff has been very kind and patient with my mom (thank you Shelly, Shayla, Pam and McKenzie) which is very important to me.

This is Judy Stevens: My mom has been at Elmcroft for two years. We are very pleased with this facility. The management and staff are very caring and kind to the residents, as well as each other. It is a beautiful place and is clean. Every holiday it is decorated for everyone's enjoyment. They have many activities, devotions and entertainment for the residents. The residents seem happy. I have never seen a staff person be cruel or mean to a resident. Mom has dementia and they are very kind and helpful to her. When we have had a concern, they are very willing to accommodate mom's need. A special thank you to Shelly Meade, Fran Porter (HV), Pam, McKenzie and Shelly (HV)!! Amazing women ??

My dad has been living at Elmcroft for a few months now. The nurses, kitchen staff, administration, maintenance and aides have gone way above and beyond in helping him adjust to this transition from his home of over 50 years. They truly care about them.

The entire staff has shown more dedication to my Dad then any other facility we have encountered. I have worked in the elderly care sector for decades and this facility rates high on the scale for compassion. They sincerely care about the residents and do all they can to provide specialized care.

I've been employed here for almost 2 years and this is THE job for me! This is the first job in 33 years of my life that I actually look forward to coming into everyday! Everyone that works here is so friendly to each other and to the residents. It literally is one big family between everyone, residents included! It's home-like, welcoming, warm, and just all around amazing! The facility is clean, well kept, and beautiful! I've learned so much and there always an opportunity to grow from within! Great place to work or to have your family member reside!

I have been employed by numerous facilities for over 12 years in multiple different cities and Elmcroft of Xenia is by far in the top five BEST! In terms of residing at Elmcroft, I would recommend any of my family members and anyone else seeking an assisted living facility. NUMBER ONE : The building. Just when you walk in the front doors you see a beautiful sitting area and a warm fireplace also a beautiful piano. This makes for an inviting place for anyone to gather around. The rooms at Elmcroft are so nice, even nicer than some apartments I have lived in! Private rooms and bathrooms make this facility seem so close to home for all who reside. NUMBER TWO: Dining. Each meal at Elmcroft is very, very good !!!! I CANNOT stress this enough! It is like dining at a restaurant. I eat an employee meal everyday I work and it is so good , that alone stands out to me as a huge PLUS! Less people refusing meals, less weight loss and other issues that any of our residents dont already need! NUMBER THREE: A dedicated staff!!! The staff at this facility truly cares about each employee, the manager even helps out during med pass when someone is sick or needing time off (which, you RARELY SEE) All of the staff work really hard to make sure everyones needs and/or issues are taken care of every single day. I have never been more excited to go to work! I truly feel like I am appreciated. Elmcroft is truly a wonderful place to work and live . If you are considering an assisted living facility for your loved one, Elmcroft is it! If you are in the healthcare field and looking for a job, Elmcroft is it!
